Dear Ex-wife Marry Me Novel Full Episode -
Chapter 572
Chapter 572
Maja had been waiting here for two hours, having verbally agreed to Shawn’s request to come to the Star Movie
group.
She’d been observing the surrounding actors, but so far, no one had caught her eye. Then she saw Tyler.
Tyler was deep in conversation with the director. When their discussion ended, he walked over to her
“Penny, are you ready to head out?”
Maja nodded, and the two headed towards the exit of the set, stopping in front of Tyler’s car. Tyler asked, “Haven’t
heard from lan lately, huh? After all this time with him, did he never tickle your fancy?”
Did he tickle her fancy?
Maja had considered this question initially, but she was clear–headed now.
Perhaps she had been swayed at some point, but that was only because of the thrill he brought.
“I was never into him. I know exactly what’s between me and Mr. Raymond.”
Tyler glanced inside the car and chuckled, “Not even a tiny bit?”
“Tyler, I don’t have a thing for self–torture.
Her voice was indifferent as she glanced at the time on her phone.
“I have something to attend to, so I’ll be going. See ya.”
Tyler nodded, waiting until she was out of sight before the car window slowly went down. lan was sitting inside.
The window had been slightly open, and lan heard everything Maja had said.
Her words were like sharp knives.
He felt as if a blade had been thrust directly into the depths of his heart.
With his pride, he should’ve opened the car door and confronted her.
If she really wasn’t into him, why were there so many emotions every time they were together?
Why did she always look at him with such deep affection?
But he didn’t show anything; he just kept his head down, looking at some documents, seemingly indifferent to her
words.
Tyler stood outside the window with a smile on his face.
“Penny’s way cooler than other girls.”
“Mmm.”
“Not pissed?”
*No need.”
Tyler hopped into the car where Jeff was driving.
He continued seriously, “Like I said before, if you really dig her, just date her properly. Give her decent
compensation after the breakup, considering you’re getting a divorce in a month and a half.”
lan, pen in hand, was reviewing documents. His face was expressionless at Tyler’s words.
“Do you think it’s her or nothing? I made it clear to her before that it was just an adult game between us. If she
takes it seriously, it’d be a pain in the ass.”
Tyler saw that he wasn’t going to admit anything, shrugged, and stopped talking.
After leaving, Maja paid a visit to the Pennyfeather family mansion.
As soon as she reached the second floor, she saw a basin of bloody water being carried out of Neil’s room.
The maid saw her and jumped, “Ms. Pennyfeather.”
Although Maja knew Neil didn’t have much time left, seeing this scene still hurt.
Her fingers rested on the doorknob. After a moment’s hesitation, she pushed the door open.
Neil’s raspy coughing could be heard from inside.
He was sitting up in bed, noticeably thinner.
Maja’s steps faltered, struggling to remember his once confident demeanor.
“Maja
Neil looked up at her. There was no light left in his eyes.
Maja clutched her hands tightly, attempting to control her emotions.
“Dad.”
She whispered, glancing at the sputum pot full of tissues, “How are you feeling?”
Neil was replaceing it difficult to speak now.
“I might not make it another half a month.”
Maja felt a lump in her throat as he continued, “I’m sorry for everything in the past.”
“Dad, we still haven’t found the child. I don’t have the capacity now; I’m the one who should be sorry,

Just let me know when you visit the grave in the future. Once you leave today, don’t come back to see me. I’m
scared of my own appearance. Please choose s good burial site for me. After all, everyone has to leave one day.”
Maja sat silently for a while before saying, “In a month and a half, lan and I will be getting a divorce.”
“Good, you don’t love him.”
Neil barely had any energy left. His words were forced, and he suddenly gazed blankly out of the window, his voice
shaking
“When I had a stall, you had a small bed under it. While I haggled with customers, Lillian would squat down to take
care of you. The street lights wererit very hight then. Whenever you cried, the customers would get impatient and
leave. We had to soothe you.”
Maja couldn’t bear to hear anymore, quickly patting his back, worried that his sudden energy was a sign of terminal
lucidity.
“Dad, you should rest now.”
Neil was indeed exhausted, his lips pale. “My grave should be at Greenfield. I don’t have the face to go to
Crystalbrook Valley and meet Lithan?
“Okay, at Greenfield. I’ll go choose later.”
“Mmm.”
He closed his eyes.
Maja teared up as she extended a trembling finger to his nostrils.
There was still a faint breath, but it was so weak that it seemed it could disappear at any moment.
