Dear Ex-wife Marry Me Novel Full Episode -
Chapter 603
Chapter 603
The private room was packed tonight, with pretty much everyone from our circle present, except for Phelps
Herrington.
Last time, Phelps Herrington didn’t see the video of Maja and lan in the private room. That was watched by Fitch
Haskins and Tyler.
Phelps Herrington, being a doctor, is busier than the rest of us. If there’s a patient, he’s pretty much glued to the
hospital.
Tyler couldn’t help but give lan a piece of his mind.
“You got to get a grip, man. She’s already given you the cold shoulder. You’re not even the other man anymore.
You’ve been bumped down to the fifth man! Shawn Walsh is the other man now, and Samuel Brown is the fourth. If
you don’t plan to sweet talk her soon, you’ll be completely kicked to the curb.”
“Buzz off!”
lan pushed him away.
He didn’t give a damn about being the other man, the fourth man, or the fifth man.
He wanted to be the only man.
Soon enough, Maja arrived.
But before she entered the private room, she ran into Samuel.
Samuel had been swamped these days. Otherwise, he would have sought out Maja sooner.
“Congrats on your divorce.”
He couldn’t believe Maja had the guts to divorce lan, especially considering the prestige of the Raymond family.
Even just being a part of it in the name would bring lots of perks.
And with her currently trying to grow her business, she’s bound to face obstacles. Having that status could come in
handy and be quite intimidating when needed.
A genuine smile crept up on Maja’s face, curling her lips upward.
Seeing the real joy in her eyes, Samuel realized that she might truly have no feelings for lan.
A sneer crossed his face at the thought of lan’s predicament.
He quickly closed the gap between them, about to whisper something into her ear, when a man’s voice came from
behind.
“What are you two up to?”
The voice was cold and authoritative.
Samuel turned around, only to see lan standing at the entrance of the private room. He must have just stepped
out..
“Just chatting with Penny. Are you stepping out for a smoke, Mr. Raymond?”
lan was feeling very uneasy, his gaze on Samuel icy.
He then pulled Maja towards him, “You’re here. Why aren’t you going in?”
Maja frowned, feeling uncomfortable, trying to pull away from him.
But lan held her tighter, pulling her into his embrace and opening the door to the private room.
In an instant, Maja felt the gazes of numerous people on her, all inside their circle.
Everyone was curious about lan’s personal affairs.
Recent rumours were that he was interested in his own designer, which turned out to be true.
Seeing so many people, Maja immediately understood lan’s intentions.
He wanted to make their relationship clear to everyone in their circle.
When Maja was still married to him, she was completely invisible.
Now they are divorced, he’s pushing her right into the spotlight.
But she didn’t like it; it meant that after tonight, she would become the talk of the town.
They would definitely label her as the lucky little designer who hooked up with lan.
–
lan’s hand was still around her waist. Sensing her resistance, he held her tighter and led her to his seat.
From the moment Tyler saw Maja walk in, he could tell she was reluctant, guessing lan must have forced her over
somehow.
He suddenly felt a headache coming on. Did lan really not get what he said the other day?
Women needed to be treated gently. Constant force and threats would only lead to resentment.
After lan sat down, he caught a whiff of alcohol from Maja and couldn’t help but lean in closer, “Have you been
drinking tonight?”
His tone was very intimate as if they were an ordinary couple.
Just as Maja was about to shift slightly away, his arm wrapped around her again. This time, he hooked it around her
shoulders, preventing her from escaping.
“Who did you drink with? Your useless husband again?”
Tyler almost spit out his drink when he heard this.
He thought this guy is beyond saving.
