The moment those doors opened, it was like we truly were at some type of frat house. Loud music pulsed around us as Caspian snaked his arm around my waist, gripping me tightly as we squeezed our way through the room. There had to be more than a hundred people standing in this large room alone..this was insane.

"It's like the entire school is here." I yelled to Caspian above the music as his eyes darted to mine.

"Don't leave my side for even a second." He yelled, making me nod before swallowing hard as the crowd began to part. I knew it was because of Caspian..all eyes were on him..and then I heard the whispers. "Wow, they really are together." One girl said to her friend.

"Didn't he hate her guts? He seriously dumped Ava for her?" Another said as Caspian must've heard that one..

His eyes darted to the girl before glaring at her as I swear she turned as white as a ghost before ducking behind some guy.

"Don't listen to them okay?" He said firmly, making me nod as I knew this would happen eventually..I just wasn't fully prepared for it tonight. I thought this would be just the team like at our house..I didn't realize all of these people would be here. But not everyone was rude..

Some people I have seen a few times in passing on campus or at the coffee shop I worked at said hi to me and even complimented my new look.

"Oh my god, this place is a mad house." Anna yelled next to my ear as she looped her arm through mine just as we reached the kitchen.

"We need a drink!" She added, her eyes wandering the makeshift bar.

"Hey!! About f*****g time you made it. Kai is already wasted and has been asking where you are nonstop." He laughed before passing some girl a drink and winking at her.

"You drinking Cas? Johnnie, you want something?" He asked, making me smile at him before glancing at Capsian.

"You go ahead baby, I'm not drinking tonight." He added, making Sam frown.

"Uhhh..seriously?! The season isn't even starting for a few more weeks..come on dude." Sam groaned as Anna stepped forward a little.

"I will drink enough for two to make up for it." She said playfully, making Sam look at her before smiling brightly as his eyes wandered up and down her body slowly.

"Don't even f*****g think about it Edmonds..this is Anna." Moose boomed while stepping up beside Anna with Milo right behind.

Sam just lifted his hands in surrender before smiling sheepishly as Anna giggled beside me. She is such a flirt..

"You sure you don't want to drink baby?" I asked Caspian, making him gaze down at me before placing his hand on my a*s possessively.

"Not with these assholes around. I will just do water." He said loud enough for Sam to hear.

"Coming right up boss." He teased and reached under the counter before producing a bottle of water.

Then he poured four drinks and set them in front of is.

"Make sure to leave a good yelp review." He shouted as we took our drinks and began moving from the kitchen. Anna and I both burst out in laughter as she quickly knocked her plastic cup against mine. "Bottoms up bitches!" She yelled, making me roll my eyes before I took a sip and instantly crinkled my nose.

"What? Not good?" Caspian asked, his voice filled with amusement.

"I think this is somehow stronger than the Moose special." I grumbled, feeling my throat burning.

"Take it slow then baby, we don't want a repeat of last time" Capsian ordered as I smiled at him sheepishly..I promise I won't tie him up and leave him this time..

"Yo! Caspian!" Someone yelled out as our gaze was drawn to a group of guys standing around.

It looked to be most of his teammates.

"Hey, Happy birthday dude. How are you feeling?" Caspian asked who I remembered was Kai as he did some little weird hand-grab hug thing that guys do. "Thanks! I'm doing great even if Brett did invite half the f*****g school." He laughed, his eyes darting to me before smiling and pulling me into a hug.

"Johnnie! Thanks for coming!" Kai slurred, making my cheeks warm as Caspian pulled me away from him.

Kai didn't seem to notice the daggers that were now being thrown his way.

"And..who..who's this?" He asked before looking at Anna who was now sandwiched between Moose and Milo.

"I'm Anna, Moose and Milo's girl." She answered before Moose could.

Kai looked between the three of them, seeming slightly confused before smiling widely and laughing.

"Why am I not surprised?" He said more to Moose than anyone as he just shrugged before smirking mischievously.

"Oh, by the way..I wanted to warn you Cas..I told him it wasn't a good idea..but you know that girl..the one who has been going around and.." Before Kai could finish, Caspian interrupted him. "Where is he?" He asked angrily, making Kai sway a little before pointing out the back.

I glanced up at Caspian, seeing he was now angry as confusion filled me.

"What is he talking about baby?" I asked, my stomach tying into knots as I had a bad feeling about this.

Caspian bent down, his mouth coming close to my ear as he tightened his grasp around my waist.

"Heaven and Freddy have been popping up lately." He explained, making me blink my eyes rapidly before scoffing.

"Why am I not surprised?" I grumbled, making Caspian study me carefully before kissing my lips gently.

"We can leave if you want." He suggested, making Anna gasp.

"No f*****g way..let me talk to the b***h, I will straighten things out real quick!" She shouted, causing Caspian to laugh..like actually laugh.

"Why do I not doubt that even a little.." He responded, making Anna smile widely before gripping my arm again.

"Listen..do you want to know what the best revenge is for desperate little girls like her?" She asked me, making me nod my head yes.

"You ignore them..you grind that fine ass on YOUR man and don't even acknowledge the hoe..show her what she will never have." Anna whisper yelled beside me as I met her brown gaze.. She is right..I remember seeing how pissed off Heaven was at the dinner when Caspian ignored her.

"Cheers!!" Anna shouted, her eyes lighting up with mischief as she tilted her drink back, draining it in seconds.

Then she prompted me to do the same, causing Caspian to reach for the cup but it was too late.

"Baby..I said to take it slow!" Capsian grumbled, his mouth pressed against my ear as he suddenly nipped at my flesh, making me giggle as I tried not to cough from the horrible taste I just swallowed.

"Yep, definitely getting punished tonight." He declared, prompting me to wiggle my a*s against him as his eyes darkened. "Is my good girl turning naughty again?" He asked, making me shake my head no innocently. "Me? Never.." I whispered, still grinding into him as he let out a low growl and began attacking my neck.

"Well, look who finally showed up!" Someone stated, making me glance over as I was now looking at Brett..and guess who was beside him.

Heaven and her douchebag brother Freddy..why am I seriously not surprised? First, it was Ava..and now Heaven..he seems to have a thing for Caspian's exes..

"Brett, I think Sam ran out of ice, he was looking for you man." Moose chimed in, obviously sensing the tension already.

"He can handle it on his own. Hey Johnnie, how have you been? I think you know my new friends here right?" He asked, his eyes flashing with amusement as I just nodded before gripping Caspian's arms that were wrapped around my waist.

I had my back pressed flush against his chest as I continued to sway my hips slowly. I could feel his rage from here..but the way I squeezed his arm and began tracing circles along his tattooed skin...it was my way of communicating with him without even talking.

"I'm glad you're making some friends Heaven. I'm sure Brett here has been taking good care of you." I blurted, making everyone around me freeze as I couldn't believe those words just left my mouth. So much for ignoring her..

I could hear Anna stifling a laugh as Caspian squeezed me tighter.

I could feel Freddy's gaze burning into me but I refused to look..I knew it would just bait him.

"Hey, I know things have been weird before...but there are no hard feelings, right? We all did things we probably regret. I just want to start fresh..we can do that, right?"

"Bullshit." Anna said the word between fake coughs, making Heaven dart her gaze towards her now.

"I don't think we have met..and you are...?" She trailed off, clearly annoyed while eyeing Anna as I realized Caspian and Brett were having some type of stare-off now.

"I'm the best friend of the girl you have been bullying." She said with a wide grin, not hiding her displeasure whatsoever. Heaven scoffed, her eyes darting to Caspian now.

"Come on, why don't we go dance." Milo suddenly spoke up, his hand slapping Caspian's back as they now shared a look before Caspian nodded once.

“See ya around Cas...Johnnie.." Brett added before placing his arm over Heaven's shoulders and turned her around. Then he started to whisper something in her ear before glancing back at friendy and nodding as they slipped into the crowd. That's when I realized Freddy was left standing there as my eyes finally met his.

Some type of emotion seemed to pass through him as he watched Caspian turn me around before forcing me to look at him.

"Are you okay baby?" Caspian rushed out worriedly before bending down and kissing me gently.

The love in his eyes made my heart race as I smiled up at him, nodding my head yes.

"Come on, let's go dance a little and then get the f**k out of here." He declared.

Suddenly Caspian went to reach for his water that he placed on a table beside us. But before he could, someone bumped into him, knocking it down.

"What the f**k?" He said, realizing it was Freddy.

"Sorry dude, here you go." He said, reaching for the water from behind a group of people and quickly handed it to him.

Caspian just shook his head and we started walking towards the dance floor.

"Let's get one more drink first!" Anna yelled above the music as I glanced at Caspian who nodded yes..but I knew this would definitely be the last.

We waited in line as Caspian took a swig of water before offering it to me.

"You need to stay hydrated baby." He said pointedly while c*****g his eyebrow..

"Fiiiine..jeez..how dare you try to take care of me.." I groaned teasingly as he smiled down at me.

"You really are asking for it now aren't you?" He responded playfully as I just shrugged innocently..yes...I was asking for it.. I quickly drank some water and took the drink that Anna now offered me. "Cheers!"
