*Three Months Later*

"Yes, come on Cas!" I screamed towards the ice rink, my eyes glued to my husband as he slid sideways before slapping his hockey stick against the ice.

The game was tight and Caspian had already gotten into three "fights". I never thought I could be so invested in this sport.

My heart stopped as time seemed to still..then Caspian made contact with the puck, shooting it across the rink and toward the goal..

Cheers exploded around me as I too began jumping up and down excitedly, my arms wrapping around Anna as we both smiled at one another.

Caspian just scored the winning shot.

"The d**k head did it!!" Anna exclaimed, making me slap her on the arm as she laughed hysterically.

Life has been anything but dull these past three months.

Dave was sentenced to twenty years in prison without the possibility of parole and my mom tried reaching out a few times..her regret clear but Ben and I just couldn't do it. We couldn't forgive her.

Not after everything that happened and how she took that man's side over her own children's.

"Oh my god..did you see when Moose slammed that guy into the wall? That was so hot!" Anna suddenly whispered into my ear as we made our way down towards the locker rooms.

Milo, Moose, and Anna are still going strong. In fact, they decided to move in together in a few weeks after their leases were up.

I have never seen Anna happier..

She isn't the only one who is official either..

Viva has been inviting someone over for our Sunday brunches..Henry, the lawyer she used to help take Dave down.

For a moment there I thought she and my dad might've had something..but their bond is more like family than anything. Which let's be real..we didn't need another situation like that..Caspian and I are already technically step-siblings..well at least we were until my mom filed for divorce from Dave.

I was surprised she actually did it..I think we all were.

Now that we are back in school, I was worried things might change between Caspian and me..It was just a massive fear I had considering the last time we were in school together.

But his team has been such a huge support..and even the coach gives me special privileges and lets me come to all of the games...I guess Caspian performs better when I am there..so Coach Marks calls me his lucky charm now.

Luckily that whole Brett thing was taken care of and he didn't return to WSU. Last I heard..he and Heaven were actually together..their engagement was announced and Alder caught wind of it.

I can honestly say they might be the perfect match for one another..like seriously.. At least they won't be tormenting some other poor soul.

Speaking of Alder..he and Viva are currently in New York. I guess he has been spending a lot of time with his grandfather and has even been talking about possibly moving there in a few months..

Just for a little..apparently there's some type of business deal out there. Some company that wants to partner with the King name. I think it was Sinclair Industries.

Apparently Alder met someone at an event they were having..a woman named Jolie. He sounds quite taken with the girl..I have never seen him like this..he is even talking about marriage. Love at first sight type of stuff.. So yeah, I have a feeling this might be the one for him. Just a hunch..

Before I could even take another step forward, a large hand wrapped around my wrist and pulled me back, making me yelp.

"Where do you think you're going?" Caspian grumbled as I blinked up at him in surprise.

What, did he do, hop the railing or something!?

Before I could answer, Caspian crashed his mouth to mine, kissing me deeply as he practically crushed me beneath his

arms.

"Did you see that? I won.." He smiled against my lips and I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Yes, you did..good boy." I teased, causing his eyelashes to flutter as his pupils suddenly dilated.

"When do I get my reward?" He asked me, making my heart race as I tried to keep cool.

Okay..maybe Caspian has been playing better at games because I might be offering him a prize if he wins..a reward to be exact.. "After you shower..you stink." I teased while scrunching up my nose.

Caspian threw his head back in laughter, his mouth widening into a big smile as he quickly gripped my face with his large palms. "Good..we can do both at the same time." He declared before kissing me once again.

"I thought you were going to celebrate with the guys?" I asked with a raised eyebrow..he has been promising them for the past three games.

"I would rather celebrate with my wife." He stated and swiftly lifted me up before chucking me over his damn shoulder. "Caspian!" I shrieked while gripping onto his jersey, trying not to topple over.

"Let's go before I grow impatient and take you right here and now." Caspian declared with a slap to my a*s as everyone around us watched.

I could hear laughter and a few whispers as my eyes met Anna who just gave me a freaking thumbs up..seriously?

She is no help..if anything she is encouraging this caveman behavior..

"Caspian, you're causing a scene!!" I hissed into his ear as I tried to lift myself up.

"They haven't seen anything yet." He said smugly, his head turning to meet my gaze as he winked.

Oh god..what does that even mean?!

"Move out of the way!! Trying to get my wife home so she can give me a.."

"Caspian!" I yelled, interrupting him as he burst into laughter. I can't believe him!

I clung to my husband as he carried me out of the stadium and straight to my car.. not even bothering to get his stuff and I couldn't help but feel my chest fill with emotion.

How did we get to this point? How did my life become so full and filled with love that it actually blindsided me?

I had my dad back..my brother was going to be a dad and I had the love of my life by my side through it all.

Caspian risked everything for me..he put it all on the line just to be with me and I will never forget that..I will never forget how he chose me over everything and even though we started this summer off as enemies..my plans to deceive him went straight out the window as I realized I was only deceiving myself.

I was never capable of making him fall for me and hurting him..because let's be real..Capsian king has had my heart since the moment it started beating.

I was his and he was mine..and there will be absolutely nothing that gets between us..because we have been through it all. "Let's go home baby.." He whispered against my lips as I nodded my head in agreement.

"Let's go..it's time for you to get your reward."
