Desert Heat Chapter 25

{Dorian’s P.O.V.}

Mikey and I bit down into our mates opposite of where their marks would go. Allie and Sin kept hanging onto each other while struggling underneath us. I could feel my venom release into Allie’s bloodstream and she immediately started to shake. After about a minute, I retract my canines and licked her wound. I look up and Mikey is also licking Sin’s. The girls never once let go of each other’s hands.

“Now we wait,” Dr. Quinn said.

We all sat down in the chairs by the girls’ beds. Not even thirty minutes after injecting her, Allie started sweating and running a high fever. Sin was just breathing heavily but was conscious. Brandon handed me a warm towel,

“Thanks,” I take it from him and start to wipe Allie’s forehead and cheeks.

“Dorian?” I heard Allie faintly

“Baby, I’m here,” I sat in her bed with her. She started shivering.

“I-I’m…fre…free…zing…”

“Brandon, go see if Dr. Quinn has an electric blanket,” Brandon ran out of the room. I went her side and laid in her bed with her. “Baby let go of Sin’s hand,” she shook her head.

“No,” she held on tighter. I knew I wasn’t going to win this. I covered Allie with my body as much as I could without hurting her. Brandon came back in with a heating blanket.

“Dr. Quinn said to put it under her,” Brandon said. I gently lifted Allie off the bed and Brandon spread out the blanket and plugged it in. “Here Mikey, this is will be for Sin,”

“Allie, let go my hand, you need to rest,” Sin said to her

“Together,” Allie responded

“We are together, it’s okay Allie babe,” Allie reluctantly let go and curled onto her side and tried to rest. I massaged her back for her to try and keep comfortable. Mikey was talking to Sin and encouraging her. Just as Dr. Quinn said, Allie’s symptoms were twice as bad and coming on quicker than Sins. After only a few hours, Allie started vomiting profusely. She would be hot one minute and then freezing the next. While Allie’s body was starting to fight off the venom, Sin was just starting to get the chills. Her symptoms were at least three hours behind Allie’s.

Allie was resting, so I went to stretch my legs in the hall and Brandon took over watching over Allie. Seeing her suffering like this was killing me inside, but I knew that she was strong enough to handle it all. She would be an amazing Luna, hell, she already was. The pack was in love with her, and she was making friends with almost everyone. The team leads respected her immensely when she was human, I could only imagine how much more she would be respected once she was a wolf.

I sat on the bench outside their room and sunlight coming down the hallway. It was already morning. I pulled out my phone and saw that it was just past 7:00 A.M. Allie had a few hours left, and these were going to be the hard hours. I got up to go back into the room when Brandon came rushing out.

“Where are you going?” I asked

“To get Dr. Quinn! Get your a*s in there!” I run into the room, and Mikey is holding Allie on her side. Allie is shaking uncontrollably and foaming at the mouth. Her heart rate was erratic, and her b***d pressure was through the roof.

“What the f**k is happening to her?!” I ran over to her and helped Mikey control her seizing.

“Alpha, move!” Dr. Quinn said and pushed me out of the way. And stuck a syringe into Allie’s neck. After a few moments, Allie’s body calmed down and her vitals started to regulate.

“What the f**k happened to her?!”

“Seizures are normal, it is to be expected. It just came sooner than I thought,” Dr. Quinn said. She took a towel and wiped Allie’s mouth.

“Will she survive?” Brandon asked

“Yes, Beta, the seizure means the venom has reached its final course, which is her brain. Her wolf is being created,”

“Dorian?”

“Allie!” I took her hand and sat back in my chair. I was exhausted, but not as much as she was. She opened her eyes and looked at me. “Hey beautiful, I thought I lost you there,”

“You can’t get rid of me that easily,” I smiled and kissed her hand.

“Sin?”

“She’s fine. She is right on course, just like you,” I looked over at Dr. Quinn who was checking on Sin who has now started to vomit herself. Mikey looks like he about to s**t himself.

“Get it together man!” I yell at him.

“I’m good man! I’ve just never seen her like this. I’m worried!”

“She will be fine,” Brandon said while putting his hand on Mikey’s shoulder. After a few minutes, Sin stopped vomiting and was able to relax.

“Gamma, your mate is fine. As the Alpha said she is right on course. Both of these ladies are strong, and were meant for this,” Dr. Quinn said.

“Don’t die on me skank,” Allie said as loud as she could

“f**k you b***h,” Sin replied. We all just laughed. Here they were, suffering and on the verge of death, and they were still insulting each other. Dr. Quinn was right, they were strong.

{Allie’s P.O.V.}

After hearing the guys laugh a little, I smiled to myself and fell asleep. I felt like utter s**t and sleep wasn’t coming easily. I had a splitting headache, and I was kicking myself for doing this. I should have stayed human. This f*****g sucked.

Really? I shot my eyes open and sat up

“What the f**k!?” I shouted.

“Allie, baby what’s wrong?” just then I felt dizzy and laid back down. “Baby,”

“I have a f*****g migraine!” I grabbed my head.

Don’t fight it Allison

“Ah! Who the f**k is that!?” I shot up again.

“Who?! Baby, talk to me!” Dorian grabbed my shoulder.

“I keep hearing a girl’s voice! You don’t hear it!?” Dorian looked at me like I was crazy, and then over to Mikey and Brandon. Sin was passed out.

“Allie, listen to me,” I look at him terrified. “I think it’s your wolf trying to communicate with you,”

“My what?”

“Your wolf, babe,”

“Let me go get Dr. Quinn,” Brandon said and ran out. I just sat there confused and scared. A few minutes later, Dr. Quinn came in.

“Luna, look at me,” I look at the doctor. “Your transformation is complete, and in record time. It’s only been 11 hours. If what the beta says is true, and you are hearing voices, that is your wolf. She is the second part of you. You need to connect with her okay?” I nod my head. “Now, sit up straight, take a deep breath and concentrate,”

I sit up and cross my legs Indian style. I rest my hands on my thighs and concentrate on my breathing. Having done yoga, helped a lot. I close my eyes and breathe in and out

Mercury! She laughs into the distance. I open my eyes and immediately blush.

“Allie?” I look at Dorian and just start giggling.

“She is naughty,” I say to him.

“Really?” Dorian smirks and raises a brow.

“Alpha, give the Luna a few hours to recuperate. Her body is still tired from the transformation,” Dr. Quinn said. I look over Sin who looks miserable.

“Come on Sin, you can do it,” I say out loud as I watch her.

“Luna,” Brandon says and walks over. He bows his head. He bends down and hugs me. “I can’t wait to see what your wolf looks like,” he says and goes back to his seat. We sit for a few hours and just wait for Sin to finishing ‘baking’ as she put it. I was also curious to see what Mercury looked like. The fact she was a horny werewolf surprised me a bit. But who was I kidding? After the night Dorian and I had, I was sure we would be a lot more of it.

Just to let you know, I expect to be let out at least once in bed. I want to see what Dorian can do too.

Why not? They are my thoughts too technically. You should ask Dorian to let Bandit out in bed too… she giggled again and vanished into the back of my mind. My god, she was horny. I shook off Mercury’s dirty thoughts, Sin started to violently shake.

“Oh my god, Sin!” I jumped up and run to her while Brandon out of the room. Dorian pulls me back.

“She is fine, it’s normal!” he told me

“How is a seizure normal!?”

“Baby, you had one too!” he said making me look at him. I didn’t even remember having a seizure. A few seconds later, Dr. Quinn comes in and plunges a syringe into Sin’s neck. It takes a minute or two, but Sin finally calms down.

“It won’t be long now,” Dr. Quinn says. “Luna, Sin will also panic when she first hears her wolf, try your best to help her understand okay?” I nod my head. I look back at Sin who is breathing regularly and looks to be at peace. I let out a heavy sigh.

“She’s going to be okay baby,” Dorian says and hugs me. As soon as he touched me, I gasped. It felt like dynamite erupting all over my body, but it wasn’t painful it was sensual and warm. I looked up at Dorian, and it felt like I was looking at in high definition 4D. I hadn’t noticed it before but my god my man was sexy as hell. His green eyes seemed even more green if that made any sense. His scent, oh my god his scent. It wasn’t the cologne he wore. He smelled like lavender and fresh ocean breeze. I hugged him and inhaled deeply. His scent literally just gave me life.

“Holy f**k, you smell delicious,” he started to laugh and pulled onto his lap. I instantly just buried my face into his neck and inhaled again. “What is this tingling feeling you are giving me? Why am I horny just by smelling you?”

“It’s the mate bond baby. Now that you’re a werewolf, it feels 10x stronger than when you were a human,”

“Is this what you felt for me when we first met? The urge to just f**k me senseless?” he threw his head and laughed.

“Now who’s the skank?” I turn and see Sin smiling at me

“Hey!” I ran over to her and take her hand.

“I’m good b***h,” she smiled. I brush her hair out of her face. “Try to sleep, it will help. When you wake up, you’re going to have a splitting headache, but I will be right here,” I kissed her forehead as she relaxed.
