Desert Heat Chapter 33

{Allie’s P.O.V.}

There I was, standing in front of the ginger triplets and all three of them were trying to tell me, one of the guards was their mate.

“Wait, are you all three of you trying to tell me…” they all nodded. “And it’s not just because you think they’re hot?” they shook their heads. I felt like my eyes were going to pop out of their sockets. I looked at them had nothing to say. It felt as if my plan to replace a mate for the guys somewhat backfired on me. Because not only did I potentially replace all three of their mates, but triplet sisters.

“Luna, will you help us?” Savannah asked

“Okay, first I need to know which one you think belongs to you,”

“The one with spiky hair,” Katie said

“The one with blue hair,” Savannah said

“The one with neck tattoos,” replied Ava

“Okay, so Katie, you are claiming Simba, Savannah, you are claiming Nick and Ava, that leaves you with Paxton,”

“Will you introduce us?” Katie asked

“We need to do this a little more formally, especially since it is all three of you. So, girls go replace your parents and tell them I want to meet them in, Alpha Jefferies office. I will go gather everyone from my pack, and your Alpha and Luna and will meet you there,” they nod and take off.

I gather myself and go replace Dorian.

“Hey, baby, everything okay?”

“I-I…I have no idea,”

“What’s wrong?”

“Remember the triplets from earlier today?”

“Yes,”

“Well, all three of them think that one of the guards is their mate,” I grit my teeth

“You have to be f*****g kidding me!” I press my lips together and shake my head.

“Baby, I need you to mind-link everyone and have them meet us in Alpha Jefferies office and don’t say anything about this. I will go replace Alpha Jefferies and Lilian,” he nods and his eyes cloud over. I look through the crowd and replace Alpha Jefferies and his Luna and explain to them what I think is happening. They get up and we all head over to his office.

When we get there, Dorian and the guys are waiting outside the door.

“Allie, what is going on?” Sin asks.

“Everyone, I respectfully ask that you all go inside the office and wait. Boys, go the very back wall and face the wall,”

“Allie?” Simba says

“Just do it, please? Dorian and Alpha Jefferies, please wait out here with me,” they stay where they are and everyone else goes into the office and leaves the door ajar. We waited another minute or so, and the girls came to the office with the parents.

“Alphas, Luna? What is the meaning of this?” their mothers asks

“Well, it appears that your girls believe my guards are each of their respective mates,” I explain

“Girls is that true?” their father asked. All three nod.

“I don’t understand, Luna if that is the case, why are we needed?” asked their mother

“Because they are girls, and they are young. If they are in fact the mates to my guards, they would be released from your pack, and come to ours,” their parents then realized why I needed them present.

“But why can’t the guys come to our pack?” Ava asks

“Sweet girl, that’s not how it works, unfortunately,” Alpha Jefferies said. “Females are the ones to leave their home packs if they are mated to a male in another pack, that’s just how the law works. That is why Leah has been released,” he explains. The girls all nod and look at their parents.

“I am sorry about this. I just brought my men hoping they would replace a mate. I never expected it to be your girls,” I say to them. I felt horrible. If they were mates to the guys, and then I would be taking all three of their children away from them at once.

“Luna please do not apologize. It is the way of the world we were born into. If the moon goddess has chosen your men to be the mates to our girls, then we must respect that and allow fate to lead them,” their mother said. Their dad sighed deeply and nodded his head.

“Okay, mom and dad, please go with Alpha Jefferies into the office and wait,” they did as I asked and left the door ajar again. “Dorian, ask Brandon if the guys seem to be reacting to anything?”

“Why?”

“Because Brandon told me that he could sense Leah before she even came in the door. If the girls are the mates to any of the guys, then they should be reacting,” Dorian nodded his head and his eyes clouded over. I looked at the girls and they are all fidgeting and biting their nails. “Girls, I need you guys to calm down,”

“Luna, we know what we feel. It was different than when we saw the Alpha, Beta, and Gamma,”

“Katie is right, this is something totally different,” Savannah added, and Ava just nodded in agreement.

“You were right,” Dorian said. Say what? I looked at him. “Brandon says all three of them are acting weird and whispering to each other about something. He said that Nick even looked towards the door,”

“Baby, go into the office please, and I need you, Brandon, and Mikey to make sure the guys don’t pin the girls against the wall and dry-humped them the way Brandon did to Leah in front of their parents,” he kissed me on the cheek and went in. I looked at the girls and they were now getting excited hearing that the guys were reacting to something.

“Do you girls want to do this together, or separately?” I asked them.

“Together,” they responded.

{Dorian’s P.O.V.}

I went into the office and told Brandon and Mikey what was going on. I looked over at the guys against the wall and see that Brandon was right. They were reacting to the scent of the triplets.

“We are coming in,” I heard Allie say. Brandon, Mikey, and I stood behind Simba and the other two to prevent from doing something stupid. “Come on girls,” Allie said and immediately the guys started to react. Paxton ended up growling when he sensed the triplets entered the office.

“You guys need to stay calm,” I tell them.

“Boys, I need you to turn around very slowly,” Allie said. All three of them turned and stood their ground. They all look past us and eyed the triplets. Then all three of their eyes turned black and they all tried to push past us. Trying to hold back three males from their mates was a challenge, but luckily, I am an Alpha. I let out a single growl and all three calmed down instantly.

“Girls! No!” Allie shouted. “Wait for them to come to you,” she paused for a moment. “Boys, one at a time, and as calmly as possible, come replace your mate,”

I let Simba go first, and I could see he was trying to fight the urge to just run up his mate. He walked up to the triplets and inhaled deeply. He stopped and walked up to the oldest, Katie. He grabbed her by the h**s and inhaled her scent,

“Mine!”

“Hi,” Katie said while letting out a breath

“Hello, gorgeous, what is your name?”

“Katie,”

“I’m Simba,”

“Really? My wolf’s name is Nala,” Allie’s jaw drops to the floor and she turns to look at me. I knew exactly what she was thinking.

“Okay, you two, go sit down, please. Paxton, your turn,” Mikey let go of Paxton and he immediately walks up to the girls. He didn’t have to sniff; he knew right away. Paxton walked up to Ava and embraced her.

“Hello, my mate,” Paxton says while looking deep into Ava’s eyes. “My name is Paxton,”

“I’m Ava,” Paxton picks her up and she wraps her legs around his waist.

“Paxton! Put her down!” Allie commands while trying not to laugh. Paxton obeys and puts Ava down. “That leaves only one,” Brandon lets Nick go and he goes straight to the remaining sister.

“I’m Nick,”

“I’m Savannah,” Nick leaned in to k**s her

“NICK!” Allie shouts. Nick stop what he was doing. “Okay, I know that the six of you are very excited right now, but we have parents in the room who are about lose their only kids, so be a little more respectful huh?” Allie was already showing her skills as Luna and keeping things organized. I was super proud of her.

“Sorry Luna,” they all said.

“Mom and Dad, how are you holding up with all of this?” she asks their parents

“We are excited!” the mother says. Allie furrows her brows. “Luna, you are some kind of matchmaker. You felt compelled to bring your men to our home, and inadvertently befriended the girls before knowing they were their mates,” she continued.

“Luna, we don’t deny we are sad our girls will be leaving our pack, but we could not be happier for them to have found their mates at such a young age,” their father adds

“We are even more excited that it is with your pack. They will not be alone because they will have Leah, a person who also shared this home with them. And seeing the way your men are trained and how intimidating they look, we know our girls will be safe with them,” the mother continues. Allie lets out a small sigh and looks at me. I nod.

“Alpha Jefferies, I believe it is now your turn to speak,” Alpha Jefferies stands and has the girls walk over to them with their parents on either side of them.

“I, Charles Jefferies, Alpha of the Mojave Mountain Pack, hereby release Katherine, Savannah and Ava Murphy from our pack,” the girls instantly felt their bond with their pack break. Alpha Jefferies stepped back, and I stepped forward.

“I, Dorian Anthony Shaw, Alpha of the Desert Moon Pack, hereby welcome Katherine, Savannah, and Ava Murphy to our pack,” I felt a connection the triplets and mind linked them immediately,

Girls welcome to my family. All three of the smiled indicating that they heard me.

“Alpha Jefferies, I look forward to our alliance and working with you in the years to come,” I shake his hand.

“I as well, but please know, that you will eventually be working with my son, Chares Junior, C.J. for short,”

“You have a son?” Allie asks

“Yes, we apologize for not letting you know sooner. He is currently traveling the world. He wanted to get it out of his system before taking over,” Lilian replies

“Well, then, I looked forward to meeting with him in the future,” I say to them. I looked down at Allie and she is making her signature thinking face.

“Baby, I see the wheels turning in that big brain of yours,” I say to her bringing her close.

“I don’t think we have enough room in the cars,” she says

“We have two Tahoe’s,”

“Yeah, and four additional women coming home with us. Do you know much stuff women their age owns?” Allie had a good point.

{Allie’s P.O.V.}

I looked at the new couples and my heart could not be happier, but I realized that four new women would be coming home with us, along with their personal belongings.

“We may need to rent a moving van to carry everyone’s things,” I said to Dorian and he nodded in agreement.

“I will take care of it,” he replies.

“Okay, I actually need to speak with Leah and the triplets. Sin stays, Dorian stay, everyone else out. Please,” everyone left pretty quietly except the boys. “Boys! Out!” I command and they get up reluctantly. “You will get them back, just go…” with that they leave and close the door.

“What’s up Allie?” Leah asked

“Okay, I want to do this now, that way everyone can enjoy the ride home tomorrow afternoon,”

“Tomorrow!?” The triplets exclaim

“Yes, tomorrow. As ranking members, we need to get back ASAP,” I say referring to myself, Dorian, Sin, and Leah. The girls nod. “Tonight, I need you all to pack your personal belongings, but only bring what is absolutely crucial to you. Do not overpack clothes or shoes. If you need stuff delivered, I am sure we can arrange for that in the future, but right now, only pack essential items. Do not overdo it on clothes, because their rooms in the packhouse are small right now. We will move you guys to bigger rooms with bigger closet spaces; however, right now, I need you three to learn to be minimalists,”

“Yes, Luna,” they respond

“What about me?” Leah asks

“You can bring a little more if you want, but honestly, Brandon may just rebuy everything for you,”

“What?”

“Leah, Brandon owns five clubs in the state of Nevada, he is very well off,” she makes an O shape with her mouth and just nods.

“Girls, the guys also make decent money; however, you three will also have jobs within the packhouse and will make your own income,” Dorian says. They all look up at him. “You will have a choice between maintaining the packhouse, working in the kitchen, or doing laundry,” their mouths drop. I guess they had never been put to work before. “It is new, but that is how our packs work. No one in the house lives there for free. Everyone has a job, and everyone works as a team. That’s what a pack is. Allie, Leah, and Sin are in charge of making sure these kinds of jobs run smoothly for everyone,”

“Or you can choose to work in the pack hospital if you like. Dr. Quinn could always use new nurses to help with the sick or injured,” I add.

“You will get paid as I said, and you will get vacation days as well. The boys work regular 9 to 5 hours unless we travel somewhere, so you will have to get used to them not being in the house all the time,”

“We understand Alpha and Luna. We will do our best to contribute to the pack. We are just really excited we found our mates. And we still get to get live together,” Katie says speaking for all three of them.

“Dorian, I think it would be a good idea, to let the boys have a week off so they can bond with their new mates and allow the girls to settle in,” I say to him

“I think that is a good idea,” Dorian replies.

“Do I get bonding time?” Leah asks

“Are you f*****g kidding me right now? You have been bonding for almost a week!” Sin says.

“Plus! We have important business to tend to when we get back, Beta,” I tell her.

“Oh, yeah…” Leah says. I roll my eyes at her and she laughs

“Alright, if no one has any questions, go pack,” everyone smiled and walked out.

“Girl you are something else!” Sin says hugging me. “What you did, is insane,”

“She is a Luna,” Dorian says and hugs us both.

“We came here to replace the third blessed wolf, and now not only are we leaving with our blessed wolf, but we also added a set of triplets to that,” I said while laughing at how ridiculous all this had become.

“Baby, what made you sit with the triplets at the table anyway?”

“I am wondering the same thing?” Sin said

“I honestly have no idea. I was just wandering the backyard helping where I could, then saw them. I was just drawn to them for some reason,” I said.

“She knows something, but she won’t tell me,” I say and squint my eyes.
