“Let’s go, boss. Enzo’s given us the green light,” Jax shouts, throwing on his leather jacket.

As I guide us towards the patio, Zara’s grip on my hand tightens. We make our way past the pool towards the steps leading to the beach, where Luca and Nikolai are diligently loading our explosives onto the boat.

Once Jax hops onto the board, my focus shifts to Zara.

“You ready for this?” I ask, searching her eyes.

“Damn right, handsome.” She tugs on my tie, crashing her lips over mine.

“Are you kidding? We have shit to do!” Jax whines, hitting his ringed fingers against the side of the boat.

I don’t look at him as I cup her cheek. “I suggest you shut up. At least I’m getting some.”

He fakes a hurt face. “Trust me, I’m doing just fine. Girls love a biker with a massive dick and a tongue piercing.”

After the few weeks Jax has had after losing Kai, I’m cutting him some slack. If anything, today will give him what he needs to move forward.

He clicks that bar against his teeth dramatically louder than usual, knowing it pisses me off. He winks, flipping me off as he does. Zara laughs next to me.

Carefully, I support Zara as she steps onto the boat, and then swiftly jump aboard.

“We’re all set, Frankie,” Luca says, rubbing his hands together.

“Let’s go and end this once and for all.”

The sooner Romano dies, the sooner my life can start. I wrap an arm around Zara’s shoulder, pulling her close as the wind rustles through her long, dark locks, while we head towards the yacht anchored a few miles off the coast.

“Wow, now that’s a boat.” Jax lets out a low whistle as we approach.

“Not for much longer. It won’t be.”

By the time we’re finished, there won’t be a trace of Romano nor the Capri’s.

Their reign will be over.
