After a simple dinner in a hotel room with a menu of traditional Greek food. JC took Anna to Greece's international airport which is 5 km from Astro Palace Hotel. His chartered private jet was waiting to take JC back to California before dropping Annastacia back in Grenada.

This is not an easy thing for JC to let Anna go. He understands the risks, his new wife is a dissident. Plus Annastacia's engagement relationship with Doctor John Baldere has a great chance of ruining his marriage to Anna in Santorini. However, JC wants to understand the development of the situation first. He had hired a professional private detective to follow Anna's activities while she was away from him. While in California, JC will finish all of his work as quickly as possible so he can see Anna again on the weekend.

Max Brury, his manager had sent him a message not to be late back to California. That's why JC is flying tonight because the journey will take about half a day to arrive in Grenada.

"Baby, I hope you will faithfully wait for me until the weekend. We will meet and vacation again after that," said JC while kissing the back of Anna's hand and staring at his wife's beautiful face.

Anna's mind seemed to face a dilemma, she had said the sacred vows of marriage with JC and she was engaged to John. The next time she met John, what would she say? Her absence for a few days from Grenada certainly raises a lot of questions from the hospital. She owes explanations to many parties.

"Okay, Jason. I'll be waiting for you," answered Anna according to JC's message. She didn't want to mess up this running process.

She also asked something that had been making her curious. "JC, do you have parents? Don't I need to see them?" she asked.

JC's expression turned cloudy, he sighed before replying, "I'm an orphan, I've lived in an orphanage since I was 7 years old. My parents died in a tornado in Texas. When the natural disaster happened, I was at my cousin's house in Mississippi. When I got home, they were both buried in my village cemetery."

Anna hugged JC and said, "Ohh, JC I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sorry to ask about your difficult past."

JC's hands caressed Anna's back and head gently. "It's okay, Anna. You have a right to know where I'm from because you're my wife," he replied.

"Thank you, JC for your understanding," said Anna with a faint smile as she looked at JC's face.

The sky was still dark as seen from the jet's window pane. The flight that night went smoothly without turbulence, the fleet chartered by JC was indeed the best and often served Hollywood's top artists.

They both fell asleep in the plane cabin hugging each other. From the inner side of JC it was so hard to let Anna go in the next few hours. He loved Annastacia very much.

At 07.45 AM Grenada time, the private jet landed at Grenada international airport. The pilot has given the aircraft landing information through the microphone.

With a heavy heart, JC hugged Anna and landed his kisses on Anna's face. "I'm going to miss you very much, dear Anna. Don't worry, I'll be picking you back up in a few days," he said.

Annastacia's heart was touched by how strong JC's love for her was. However, her life has a different side to JC's life as a popstar. She kissed the young man on the lips and said, "I'll be waiting for you, Jason. See you on the weekend. I have to go down now."

Annastacia waved her hand to let JC leave in a private jet that flew through the sky. She was escorted by a rental car driver JC subscribed to in Grenada to return to her apartment.

After changing clothes to work in her apartment, Annastacia immediately left for Wyndham International Hospital in her maroon Mini Cooper car.

When Annastacia set foot in the ER, Nurse Belina immediately greeted her.

"Good morning, Doctor Anna. We really miss your presence. Have you been on vacation with the Baldere family since 3 days ago?" asked Sister Belina curiously because Annastacia had not left a message. Annastacia opened her phone and checked her messaging app. There were dozens of messages and missed calls that came into her cell phone which was left in her apartment unit.

"Good morning, Nurse Belina. I'm sorry for all the busyness that I left for the ER section since 3 days ago. There was an urgent business that I left my cellphone when I left yesterday," Anna answered casually even though she covered up what sudden business she was doing.

She was abducted in the early morning by JC's bodyguards from her apartment wearing pajamas without wearing a bra and wearing slippers. It was something she couldn't possibly tell anyone because it was a scandal-prone situation. She's avoiding the current scandal as much as possible with a top artist of Jason Channing's caliber.

"We have an ER case that requires surgery, Doc. This is a patient data file folder," said Nurse Belina as she handed a folder into Anna's hand.

With full focus, Anna read the case file. A case of foreign bodies in the digestive tract that clog the small intestine. "I think the child's mother should be reprimanded, Nurse Belina. How can the rubber bands accumulate in the small intestine in such a significant amount as to clog the digestive tract?" Anna said as she returned the file folder to Nurse Belina's hands.

"It seems the boy swallowed the rubber bands without his mother knowing, Doc," replied Nurse Belina. Then she asked, "Are you ready for this laparotomy, Doc?"

"Sure, where is this patient OK?" said Anna.

"OK 3, Doc. Please, everything is ready to start," said Nurse Belina.

Annastacia said goodbye to Nurse Belina and rushed to OK 3 to work on her first case today. A job that makes her soul feel alive again after a few days without clarity about the fate of her profession.

After putting on sterile surgical gowns and equipment, Anna entered the operating room 3. As usual, the cold air-conditioned room felt very tense. Anna looked at the personnel one by one who would help her operation this time. "Hi, everyone. Let's get the surgery started," Anna greeted her surgical resident Jack Devlin, anesthetist Rebecca Jones, paramedic Benjamin Thornfield, and operating room nurse Miriam Bryant and 2 young interns she didn't know. Annastacia watched the x-ray slide on the bright glass wall. She determined the location of her first incision in the linea alba closest to the position of the rubber band plug to reduce the risk of bleeding. After the muscles are exposed, the lining shows the small intestine which is swollen in size due to the blockage. Anna immediately asked Jack Devlin to put clamps on the right and left of the position of the intestine that she would open transversely.

Finally, the culprit of the blockage was successfully removed, Anna shook her head when she saw that there were 18 latex rubber bands after being counted by Benjamin, the paramedic.

When everything seemed clean without the rubber band, Anna sewed back the incision in the small intestine with Lambert stiches. Then wash the blood that seeped earlier with NS fluid assisted by Jack Devlin. Then she sewed up the muscles herself to the outer skin that she cut at the start of the operation.

"As usual, please monitor the patient's condition, call me when the patient is awake. Fasting for the first 24 hours after surgery. She removed her disposable latex gloves and surgical mask and head cap and threw them in the trash. Then took off her sterile surgical gown before heading out into the operating room corridor.
