A Bullet to His Head

After lunch at a restaurant in the Disneyland complex, JC asked Anna to buy ice cream because the weather was a bit hot that afternoon. They ordered ice cream with their favorite flavors at the ice cream stand located on the side of the park road.

"I want strawberry ice cream, Sir," Anna said to the man selling the ice cream.

"I just want chocolate ice cream, sir," said JC after Anna.

Ice cream with a crispy cone was handed to Anna and JC according to the taste of their order. After JC paid for the ice cream, the two of them took another walk around the flower garden inside Disneyland.

"Would you like to taste my strawberry ice cream, Honey?" asked Anna thrusting her ice cream in front of JC's mouth. The young man also tasted a little and said it tasted good. JC also asked Anna to taste the chocolate ice cream too. As they crossed the dancing water fountain in front of that beautiful Disney castle. Suddenly from behind them...

"Anna!" called a male voice that was quite familiar in Anna's brain.

She looked back and dropped the ice cream in her hand because she was shocked to see who the man standing in front of her was.

"John ...?" Anna said with a frown. She turned to JC who immediately grabbed her shoulder possessively.

The man stepped closer to the two of them with an unpleasant grin on his face. "Hi, JC, we meet again. I hope you return my wife right now," said John, crossing his arms and looking at JC and Anna alternately.

JC laughed satirically in response to John's words to him. He replied, "Never, John. You're only dreaming if I'm willing to give Anna to you. She's my lover, my love to death." Then JC grabbed Anna's hand and said, "We're going home now Honey!"

"Stop!" exclaimed John, pointing a Glock 17 at JC's head. John's eyes were full of anger.

They are 3 meters away from each other. John threatened, "I won't hesitate to shoot you if you insist on taking Anna away again, JC!" Visitors who saw John carrying a gun ran screaming in terror. The situation became so chaotic because of the panicked Disneyland visitors. However, JC did not listen to John's threats and was determined to hold Anna's hand to go away.

"BANG!"

John also pressed the trigger until a bullet shot through the right side of JC's head.

JC's body immediately collapsed to the ground with his head leaking blood. Anna, who was beside JC, screamed hysterically while crying, calling out Jason's name and shaking his body to wake him up. However, there was no response at all. John grabbed Anna's arm to get her up and went with him. However, Anna pushed John's hand away. "You killed Jason! You're a doctor, but you kill people, John!" burst out Anna with tears in her eyes.

While John was frozen in place, he heard Anna's hysterical screams.

From a distance, Brad Lennin was running towards his boss who was lying on the ground with his head bleeding. "Anna, what happened?!"

"Brad calls an ambulance or carries JC to the car, we have to get to the hospital. Hurry up!" Anna ordered firmly, she felt JC's heartbeat was still there. The possibility of Anna's suspicion that the bullet was stuck in the skull, there may have been a partial brain hemorrhage.

Immediately Brad Lennin carried JC's big, stocky body onto his back and rushed to the Disneyland area car park.

Anna didn't care about John who was taken away by Disney California Adventure Park security officers with his hands handcuffed behind his back. Chances are the security guards will hand John over to the Los Angeles police station. JC's car was driven by Brad Lennin at speed, he was very worried about JC's condition which was on the verge of life and death. His heart was beating fast because he felt so tense. Finally, after about 20 minutes of speeding, Brad arrived at St. Hospital. Petersburg, which is international class, then called the emergency room officer to help him deal with JC who he was carrying out of the car.

After lowering JC's limp body to the Emergency Room patient bed, the man returned to the front of the hospital lobby to move JC's car to the car parking area available in the hospital's basement.

Annastacia told the nurse what had happened to JC and then immediately filled out the patient data form for surgery. This case will be a case of brain surgery that is quite risky. "Then I want to do brain surgery, I'm Doctor Annastacia Brighton. Maybe you can call the information department of Wyndham International Hospital in Grenada if you don't believe in my identity. Help me, Nurse Brenda! My husband is on the line between life and death. He is in critical condition now!" said Anna in a forced tone. She won't let JC's life drift from his body.

Nurse Brenda Hayes considered Anna's wish. She then tried to call the hospital information number that Anna had mentioned. It turns out that Annastacia Brighton's true identity is that of a surgeon. She also allowed Anna to perform the brain surgery procedure accompanied by several doctors and surgical residents.

Without wasting any time, Anna put on sterile surgical gowns and other equipment before entering the OK which was used for JC's operation. Anna washes her hands with soap and water.

The Anesthesiologist puts on an oxygen mask connected to an inhalation anesthetic. The hair on JC's head has been shaved to prepare for a brain surgery procedure.

The atmosphere in the operating room was tense. This is a difficult case and the prognosis is poor. Patient can lose his life at any time.

"Good afternoon, colleagues. Please cooperate in handling this complicated case. Let's start the operation," said Anna confidently as usual.

This is her first job after months of hiatus from her job as a surgeon.
