All the way home from the LAPD office to JC's house, Anna's tears kept flowing. She thought about everything John said about JC's post-brain surgery condition.

"Anna, stop crying. What makes you so sad? You can tell me," Max comforted, caressing Anna's head. He also felt sad about JC's condition, but he was a man so he didn't deserve to cry all the time.

Anna turned to look at Max with teary eyes. "I'm just worried about Jason, Max. As long as Jason isn't awake, I can't calm down," Anna replied.

JC's Land Rover driven by Brad arrived in front of JC's house. Anna's sister was sitting on the porch chair waiting for their return. Then Jocelyn stood waiting for Anna to get out of the car with Max. Anna ran to hug her sister while sobbing. She seemed to be at a loss for words amidst all the mixed emotions in her heart.

With understanding, Jocelyn said, "Cry Anna for your relief. I understand how you feel right now. I'm so sorry for JC. I hope everything will be okay."

The three of them entered JC's house. Meanwhile, Brad Lennin returned home on a motorbike after parking JC's Land Rover in the garage next to the house.

"I'll stay with you here for a while until JC wakes up, Anna," said Jocelyn as she sat on the sofa in the living room and placed her tote bag containing her change of clothes on the floor.

The Kintamani puppy was kept by Anna and JC greeted Anna with a cute barking voice. Anna's outstretched hand lifted Spice Girl into her arms. "Are you hungry, Spice?" asked Anna nudging her face into the ball of white fur which gave her a little warmth in her heart.

Anna lowered Spice Girl to the floor then poured the puppy's cereal into the feeding bowl and refilled her drinking bowl with water. "Come eat, Spice!" called Anna and sat on the floor watching the Kintamani puppy eat eagerly.

Max and Jocelyn watched Annastacia from the living room sofa. They are also concerned about the situation faced by Anna.

"Get some rest, Max. I will accompany Anna, there are many things I want to talk to her about later," said Jocelyn then kissed her husband's lips gently.

"Okay, I'll take a shower first, Jocy," Max said.

Jocelyn walked towards the kitchen to approach Anna. "Have you eaten, Anna? I think I'll just order delivery from the app," Jocelyn asked as she crouched down next to Anna watching the Spice Girl.

"Order it for me too, Jocy. I'm hungry. Whatever the menu, I'm lazy to choose food," replied Anna while stroking Spice Girl's back. Then she rose to her feet with Jocelyn and sat down in a chair around the pantry table. Practically, Jocelyn ordered a MacDonald's menu for the three of them. Her appetite had also evaporated from all the tension of the day.

"Anna, are you going back to Grenada any time soon?" asked Jocelyn while waiting for their dinner menu orders to arrive.

Anna rested her chin with her eyes far away. "I can't answer that yet, Jocy. Even a few months ago, it was something I kept demanding of Jason. I was raging, pleading, urging him to return me to Grenada. However, JC relentlessly ensnared me with all his attention and words of his love every day until I fell in love with him. Didn't fate play a joke on both of us? After we loved each other, now he has to be in a state of unconsciousness without knowing what our relationship will be like tomorrow."

Hearing Anna's story, Jocelyn's heart was sliced so sorely. Her youngest sister's love story was very complicated even though Anna had never been in a relationship. Anna was completely inexperienced with men prior to her relationship with JC and John.

Both men were attractive and successful, but how egocentric the two men were. They always put Anna in the wrong position with their reckless actions. Exciting video playing in the middle of Dennery City and the JC shooting case in the middle of a bustling Disneyland.

Neither JC nor John were sensitive to the effect they had on Anna's life. Anna's reputation was completely ruined. She is seen by society as a scandalous woman. Even though she is just a victim of the selfishness of the two men who both don't want to give up pursuing Anna's love.

"TING TONG." JC's doorbell rings.

"Maybe it's the food delivery courier from MacD," Jocelyn guessed and then walked forward to open the door.

When Jocelyn opened the door, she was a little surprised that it wasn't MacDonald's courier, but a rather fat woman dressed in tight black wearing dark glasses and a black hat, as if to cover her appearance. Jocelyn thought it a bit strange and suspicious.

"Good evening, Miss. Can I leave a package for Miss Annastacia Brighton? Someone sent this package to her at this home address," said the mysterious woman as if she were the courier for the parcel.

"May I know who sent this item and what is in it?" asked Jocelyn carefully. A mysterious package from an unknown person sent at night like this was very unnatural.

The woman who delivered the package was silent for a moment as if thinking and then replied, "The sender is written on the delivery application, Patricia Blanco with the return address Anaheim. If the contents are not stated, Miss. Sorry, it's late and I'm working late just to deliver this package. Please. Don't complicate my work." The woman snorted as if annoyed and impatient that Jocelyn was reluctant to accept the package.

Feeling uncomfortable with the woman who delivered the package, Jocelyn finally signed the receipt of the goods and then received the 30 x 30 x 30 cm3 box-shaped package wrapped in wrapping paper with a broken heart. Jocelyn had a bad feeling.

"Thank you, Miss... ahh ... Jocelyn," the woman said reading the name on the note and then said goodbye, "I'll excuse myself, it's late."

The woman rushed to her motorbike and put on her helmet before stepping on the gas and leaving JC's terrace.

With furrowed brows, Jocelyn shrugged her shoulders feeling the woman was a bit strange. She also brought in the package for Anna.

"Anna, there's a package for you from Patricia Blanco. Do you know this woman?" asked Jocelyn as she carried the package to the pantry table and placed it in front of Anna.

"I don't know anyone in LA, Jocy. Besides, I've only been here a week and I don't have any acquaintances. Who is she?" replied Anna confused.

Before Jocelyn could answer Anna's question, the doorbell rang once more. She also rushed to open the door while hoping it was a courier delivery for dinner orders from MacDonald. It turned out to be exactly what she expected. Suddenly from the kitchen, Anna screamed hysterically. "AAAAAARRRGGGHHHH!"

Max stormed out of his room after the shower still shirtless in his cloth shorts. And Jocelyn also ran into the kitchen, leaving MacDonald's courier at the porch door.
