When Anna had resigned herself to flying away, she closed her eyes. However, everything happened so fast.

The gunshot sounded loudly along with the police officer's warning. "Freeze! Freeze! Stand still! Hands up!" They chased around a dozen female JC fans.

Hysterical screams of women running, Marry's screams whose voices seemed to move away from Anna's body, an LAPD officer shot her in the chest. When Anna saw her, Marry's body bounced into the air and then fell from the roof of the 25- story building. While Anna's body was hugged tightly by John.

The evil woman died with her head blown off as her body hit the road surface in front of the hospital.

The atmosphere was very chaotic with the noisy voices of the female JC fans crying over Marry and some begging to be released by LAPD officers.

John untied the ropes on Anna's wrists. "You're safe now, Anna. Gosh, they seem to be torturing you again! We'll treat your wounds downstairs. Come on ...," John said in a worried tone, checking on Anna's condition, whose face was covered in blood and bruises.

They all left the roof of the hospital building and took off on 2 elevators in shifts after calling the LAPD to send a van to pick up the crime suspects.

The average JC fans who attacked and beat Annastacia were between 17 and 30 years old. All of them were good-looking, it was a shame for them to do such impulsive actions.

Anna and John came down to the lobby floor as well but they headed straight to the ER to tend to Anna's injuries. Meanwhile, LAPD officers escorted the young female JC fanatics to the front door of the lobby where 2 LAPD vans were waiting. LAPD police car siren sounded excited because they also had to secure the location of the death of Marry who had fallen from the 25th-floor roof of the St. Petersburg International hospital building. However, let me stay alone in my apartment while waiting for Jason to wake up," Anna said sitting on the edge of the patient's bed while looking at John who was holding his right hand. John breathed a sigh of relief, he was happy with Anna's decision even though his happiness was not perfect. The man still has to wait for Anna's decision regarding their marriage.

"Okay, Anna. I respect your decision regarding our marriage. One thing you need to know, my love and admiration for you have never changed at any time," John answered confidently.

Max and Jocelyn looked into the cubicle where Anna was being looked after by the duty nurse. There was a light stab wound in her stomach side, the dead Marry who had stabbed her earlier with the point of a dagger. "Anna, my goodness! Are you all right, Honey?" cried Jocelyn while stroking Anna's head.

"I'm grateful I didn't die today, Jocy. I almost lost my life earlier because I fell from the roof of this hospital when the police and John were even a second late," Anna replied with a weak smile.

"What a dire situation, Anna. I don't know, I think you should go back to Grenada for a while," Max suggested sensibly. She felt insecure to continue to be in LA where JC's fan base is so big.

Anna nodded her head at Max. "Tomorrow I'm going back to Grenada with John on the morning plane. Max, please let me know when JC wakes up, I'll be back in LA," she said.

"Calm down, Anna. I will call you to let you know about JC. We better go home now," Max replied and then walked with Jocelyn and also John to the hospital pharmacy to buy Anna's outpatient medicine.

The next day, Max drives Anna and John to the airport with Jocelyn before they leave for work. Anna left JC's given clothes at the young man's house. She felt that she would be better off leaving everything that reminded her of JC in LA for the sake of her mental health.

Anna also entrusted the Spice Girl to Jocelyn and Max because it was impossible to take the Kintamani puppy on an ordinary commercial plane.

Before disappearing at the passenger departure gate, Anna and John waved to Max and Jocelyn.

"Okay, let's go to work now, Max," Jocelyn said putting her arm around her husband's waist and walking towards the Los Angeles international airport car park.

Without thinking much, Anna replied, "I love you, John. At first, I hated Jason because he kidnapped me and separated us after the wedding. However, in the few months that we spent together on the island of Bali, he made me fall in love with him."

John sighed heavily, he understood what dilemma Anna was feeling right now. The relationship between a man and a woman who have a strong attraction to each other can indeed make things complicated.

"Anna, promise me to let JC go if he has amnesia. I will help you forget your feelings of love for JC," John pleaded with sincerity. He hoped that there would be a future for his marriage to Anna.

Annastacia smiled at John and nodded her head. She felt that John was always sincere and loyal to her even though the storms came after another in their marriage, which was still so young. She also lay her head on John's shoulder, while John's hand stroked the top of her head.

The plane they were on flew smoothly without interruption because the summer weather was very bright that day. White clouds clustered in the blue sky seen from the airplane window.

Not realizing Anna's eyes closed and she too fell asleep in John's arms. The man had a protective aura that made her calm when she was with him.

Meanwhile, John is happy because he now knows how Anna feels about him. There is still love in Anna's heart for him. He had to pray a lot so that the artist would soon wake up from the coma and amnesia so that Anna could quickly forget her past with JC.

However, only God knows when JC's consciousness returned. Even medical science cannot predict exactly when brain surgery patients can wake up after surgery.
