Lisa deliberately stumbled over a chair, landing right in front of Ricky. The moment he saw her, Ricky sprang into action. He hauled Lisa up from the floor, one arm wrapped around her neck, the other pressing a gun to her temple. "Let me out, or she's dead," he barked.

Lisa's fall caught everyone off guard. Leah was scared stiff, and Jacob, visibly shaken, was feeling unwell. Leah, busy fetching his heart medication, didn't even realize Lisa had moved from her seat. By the time they noticed, Lisa was already in the grip of the kidnapper, a gun aimed at her head.

Witnessing this, Leah felt like her own heart might give out. What was Lisa thinking? She'd been so quiet all night, not causing any fuss. But now? Despite it all, Leah was frantic with worry for Lisa's safety. Ignoring the danger, she rushed over. "Please, don't hurt her. She's my daughter!" Leah begged, her voice trembling.

Ricky backed slowly towards the door, inching closer with every step. Meanwhile, Logan edged forward, warning, "Don't make this harder on yourself. You won't get away."

With a fierce glare, Ricky shoved the gun harder against Lisa's forehead. "Open the door and don't follow, or she's done for!"

Lisa sobbed and pleaded, "Please, don't provoke him. He means it-he'll kill me. Help me, please!"

With Ricky holding Lisa hostage, the onlookers were powerless, watching him leave with her. Outside the Caesar Hotel, a black van pulled up. Lisa whispered urgently, "Quick, get in!"

Ricky didn't hesitate-this was the

plan he and Lisa had cooked up. He was supposed to take care of the dirty work, and she'd handle the getaway. They were set to head straight to the airport. Lisa had already lined up the cash, passports, tickets, and new identities. Ricky was about to jet off to Las Vegas with fifty million and a fresh start.

Once they were in the van, it blended seamlessly into the freeway traffic. Ricky, still holding Lisa as a hostage, finally relaxed a bit when he saw no police or suspicious cars tailing them. He tucked the gun back into his pocket, away from Lisa

Lisa, eyeing the pocket where he'd stashed the gun, huffed, "Ricky, what were you thinking? I told you to take out Chloe, and you shoot at the bride instead? You're useless!"

The more Lisa thought about it, the

more her anger simmered. This botched job meant they might never get another shot. Ricky, simmering with his own frustration, snapped back, "How was I supposed to know Mrs. Moncada would jump in front of Chloe? Is she out of her mind?"

Lisa couldn't believe it either. Weren't Linda and Chloe sworn enemies? Wasn't Linda the one who wanted Chloe gone the most? Yet, she risked her life to save her? And she was pregnant, no less. Absolute madness! Lisa fumed, "Why didn't you just fire off a couple more shots and finish them both?"

Ricky had been too panicked to think that far ahead. After missing Chloe with the first shot, all he wanted was to get out of there. "You're one cold-hearted woman, you know that?"
