Chloe chuckled, "How can you figure out the personality of someone so small?" She stood up and effortlessly scooped the baby out of the crib. Little Summer, nestled in her arms, was incredibly sweet, blinking every now and then while gazing at Chloe. "Look, she's smiling at me, isn't she?" Chloe remarked.

Connor leaned closer, "She really does have a lovely smile."

But then Connor's face stiffened a little. Was it just him? The child's smile didn't seem to mirror either Lucas or Linda. Instead, there was hint of Chloe in it. Especially when her eyes squinted, forming a shape like a tiny crescent moon. Connor shrugged it off, not thinking much of it.

"Let me have a go," he said.

Chloe handed over the baby to Connor, who marveled at the novelty of the moment. There was something about those clear, bright eyes that he found instantly endearing.

"Hey, little one, call me Uncle," he playfully urged.

Since Summer called Chloe 'Auntie,' Connor naturally took on the 'Uncle' role. Chloe found the whole thing amusing.

Connor kept at it, "Come on, say Uncle, Un...cle..."

Chloe laughed, "Connor, stop acting like a kid."

"Ah... Ah... Aba... Aba... Baba, Baba, Daddy..." the little one suddenly babbled, almost like she was saying "Daddy."

Connor froze for a moment, then turned to Chloe, excitement in his eyes, "Did you hear that? She called me Daddy." Chloe rolled her eyes, "Oh, stop it."

Not long after, the butler announced that dinner was ready, and they all sat down to a meal filled with laughter and warmth.

After dinner, Chloe spoke up, "Grandpa, Godfather, Godmother, I've decided to settle in Eldridge City."

Jeffery nodded, "You and Connor are married now, so moving there makes sense."

Gordon chimed in, "You two should just enjoy your life. Don't worry about us. Just come and visit when you can, and we'll be happy."

Tara's eyes shimmered with tears.

Gordon gently added, "Why the tears? It's not like the old days when distances were daunting. Riverbrook to Eldridge City is just a two-hour flight. Nowadays, even going abroad isn't a big deal."

Tara nodded, squeezing Chloe's

hand, "I've watched you grow, seen all you've been through. You've faced so many challenges, but that's all behind you now. A fresh start in a new place is a good thing. Your Godfather is right, don't fret about us, just take care of yourself."

Connor joined in, "Once we move to Eldridge City Chloe and I will live in the villas at Figure Nine Estate. I own both, and I want to give the No. 8 Mansion, which is closest to us, to the Moncada family. Whenever you have some time off, you

and

Grandpa are welcome to stay there."

Tara was taken aback, "Really? Are you sure?"

Joshua intervened, "That's too much, Connor, You've already done so much for the Moncada family and Moncada International. We can't accept such a generous offer. Figure Nine Estate is one of the most exclusive places in Eldridge City, never on the market. It's priceless. We just can't accept it."

Connor smiled warmly, "I know who's truly family to Chloe. Let's not overthink this." After a lot of back-and-forth, they eventually reached an agreement.
