“I didn’t talk to him when you were not here. Who did you eat with at night? Could it be that Bowen?”

Jolene tossed her bag on the sofa, then went to the bathroom to wash her face.

But Chris followed her all the way to the bathroom: “I think that Bowen has a great interest in you? Andyou and his former secretary–general look so similar, don’t you have anything to explain to me?”

“What is there to explain?” Jolene lowered her head and washed her face.

Chris yelled behind her: “I think you must be hiding something from me! I’ll tell you everything in detail,and you should be honest with me.”

“We should only talk about work between the two of us. I’m not dating you. Do I need to be honest withyou?”

Jolene took the towel to wipe her face, but before it was clean, Chris pulled the towel away from him.

“I don’t care what relationship you have with him. When I saw it, Bowen wanted to pursue you. Jane, Idon’t allow you to fall in love with anyone. If you want to talk, it can only be me.”

Jolene squinted at him, her eyelashes were still wet, she hadn’t even wiped them clean.

“I’m going to take a shower and go to bed right now, get out of my room in ten minutes.”

Chris yelled at her through the door: “I bought you a new bottle of shower gel, it smells like raspberry,you smell very good.”

Chris shrank his neck, when the doorbell rang, he walked to the door and looked out of the peephole,his brows suddenly knit into a knot.
