“It’s just a marriage license… Listen to that tone and attitude. You’re outright showing off.” Lydiapretended she wanted to hit Alice. How frustrating! It’s true when they say comparisons are odious!

Ethan agreed with what Lydia said, and thus, he decided to go easy on Lydia when he looked for theperson to educate her later.

Alice blinked, feeling a little confused. “Why are you saying that I have crossed the line?” Ethan and Iapplied for the marriage license solely because of Caroline.
