Cecilia’s phone rang out of the blue. She took it out and smiled when she saw the caller. ”Enoughchoosing. Alice’s favorite person is calling.”

At the time, Ethan was standing right outside the door, so he accidentally heard her words.

Ethan could tell that Alice didn’t love Bruce, so he had never paid any attention to Bruce.

Outside the room, every word Lydia said was heard by Ethan, and his expression grew colder andcolder.

Then at that moment, Ethan finally realized they were talking about a man!

”Why did he call you? Why didn’t he call me? Is it for Alice?” Lydia asked with a little jealousy.

”Of course. Why would he call me if he’s fine? Don’t even think about it. Only Alice has such an honor,”Cecilia complained, wrinkles appearing on her face. Apollo had always been arrogant and aloof.

Alice answered the phone with a smile, ”Hello…?”

The moment Alice spoke, her voice softened immediately, the kind of tenderness Ethan had described.

Ethan moved away from the door and leaned against the wall. There was a mirthless smile playing onhis lips.
