This peeked my interest but was not something that I needed to deal with right now. Though it might shed some light on what has been happening. I was at a toss up of what should be done with this information.

“What do you guys think? Have any of you heard a legend about me before?” I asked through our mind-link.

“There are legends but I can not say whether it is about you or not. We should hear this legend and then we can compare it to the legends we have heard. Each Realm has a legend but who is to say it is about a specific person.” Hydrus said.

“I agree with Hydrus.” Acrux said.

“I have heard the legend about you but I completely forgot about it til Oscar brought it up.” AnLeon said.

With that information I made my decision and said, “Oscar once we are done going over all of the investigations and information, I would like you to tell us all about this legend.”

“Theo tell me about your investigations.” I said.

“Well they have been on going for quite some time. Clade the hiring magistrate has hired numerous people over the past few years that are very questionable and he will not give up any information on why they were hired to begin with. There are fifteen housekeepers, three kitchen staff, seven grounds people, ten guards, and then he has opened up several businesses in the surrounding area that are staffed and run by criminals. Then you add in all the people that were arrested at the assembly for the sentencing. We are still trying to figure out how people are able to so easily get in and out but I think you were able to weed out the guards today that had turned against us.” Theo explained.

“Have you managed to infiltrate those businesses?” Hydrus asked.

“No unfortunately, but we have been working on it. One of the assignments that I gave Oscar was to try to turn one of the criminals in our jails on to our side. But every time we get them to flip, we end up replaceing them dead. We have been trying to figure out how to get some one in, that they will not suspect.” Theo explained.

“Hmm, Acrux I think you are going to have to check these places out and gather information like the old days,” AnLeon said while smirking evilly.

“Theo can you get me a list of the businesses and everyone that works and runs them?” Acrux asked.

Oscar said some thing in a language I did not quite understand and a big folder appeared in his hands. He got up and brought it over to Acrux.

“Here is every thing we have compiled on all the known businesses that Clade has opened,” Oscar says before he returns to his seat.

Acrux opens the folder and starts sifting through it. Randomly he hands things to Hydrus and AnLeon. Once they have looked at whatever they were given they hand it back to Acrux. We sit there in silence for about fifteen minutes while they look over things.

“You guys have done a lot of work on this. There are pictures, names, dates, and even people who are customers,” Hydrus compliments them.

“I can see why you have not been able to infiltrate them. They are running these businesses like they are the mob.” AnLeon states.

“Yes, but what is worse is that they do not even try to hide it or cover it up. They act like they run the Kingdom and can not be touched. When ever we manage to catch one of them the person either is found dead in a cell or disappears.” Theo explains.

The men sit there silent for a few minutes contemplating everything. I ask, “Ok let us move on. Are there any other concerns or investigations that have been going on that have not been discussed yet?”

“We have been infiltrating other packs that are part of an underground world. We have spies all over the country and other countries that are looking into how deep this underground world is.” Issac says.

“What is this underground world and what does it entail?” Acrux asks.

Oscar produces two more big folders and brings them over to us. After AnLeon takes the folders from Oscar, Oscar turns around and goes back to his seat. The guys separate the information and go over it. All of a sudden the door opens and a couple of guards from earlier are bringing in a round table.

After setting the table down the guards bow to us and say, “If there is anything else required we will be right out side the door.”

The guards then leave and the guys get up and set chairs up around the table. We all get up and sit down at the table. Acrux and Hyrdus spread out all of the paper work on the table. They start sifting it around so it is more easy to see.

“We need a board or something to hang everything. We also should scan all of it and put it on a laptop that has top security.” Hydrus finally said.

“Ugh, I detest technology.” I sighed out.

Every one laughed but me. I felt like I was an outsider again. Acrux noticed this and hugged me.

“We are not laughing at you Chris. A lot of us do not like technology. We have come to terms though with the fact that it has perks.” AnLeon explains.

Acrux was still holding me and I felt silly for feeling like an outsider but I did not care. It is how I felt and no one could tell me I can not feel a certain way. I lightly kissed Acrux on the cheek and pulled away.

”We are sorry your Majesty if we we made you feel bad. We meant no offense with the laughing. We normally do not use technology because the King detests it as well. We have actually been trying to break in to the technology world because it would gives us better security measures and a better way of keeping our reports under wraps. We understand your concerns about health effects but can you do me a favor and be a little open minded. I can sit down later with you and explain things better for you if you would like.” Theo explains.

“I agree that technology does have perks and I do take mine and every one else’s health very seriously. I am just afraid that if we implement technology in the Kingdom people are going to take advantage and get more technology. But I would like to sit down and discuss it further especially since it can help us with security.” I said.

The door opened again and a large white board was being wheeled in to the room. Once the board was where the guys wanted it, the guard put double stick tape, dry erase markers, as well as an eraser on the table. He bowed then left the room. I was really impressed because he did not even try to snoop or scope out what was on the table. The guys started going through the papers and photos on the table and putting them up on the board. As some thing was put up another person was writing a date and what it was on the board. A half hour later the guys stood back and looked at the board.

I stand up and go to the board, just as I reach the board the babes start to fuss. Hydrus produces bottles and him and AnLeon both go to feed the babes. I silently look at everything on the board. I start seeing a pattern and grab a marker. I start drawing lines with arrows connecting certain things. Once I am done I stand back and look at everything.

“Do we have a notebook and a pen or pencil?” I ask out loud.

“Here you go.” Max says while handing me the stuff.

“Oliver will you get me the files on the Fae prisoners for me?” I ask, then turn to Hydrus and say “I need that other file and Persephone.”

I turn back to the board and I start compiling a list and notice some discrepancies. I look at the board studying it and see the same thing. Turning around I go back to the stuff on the table that was not put on the board. I start sifting through every thing. I replace a few things that need to be added then notice there is still stuff missing. I stand there contemplating then look at the board again. I go back to the board and start taking every thing down and put it in a pile. Once down I look at my list and the stuff on the table. I go over to the thrones and grab the folder that is sitting there still. I bring it back over to the table and start sifting through it. I finally replace everything I need. I start putting everything up in order along with pictures. After I have finished I go back to the table and start going through every thing again. I start putting all of that in order as well. Another large white board has been brought in. Once it is in place I start putting every thing from the table on to the new board as well. Once the last piece is up I stand back and start a new list. After everything looks accurate and some changes are made, I go and sit back down.

Oliver comes back with the files and then some. Then he sits back down. The doors open again and in walks Persephone followed by Hydrus.

“Seph, please join us. I need your input on some things. I will understand if it is too hard for you though.” I say.

Persephone walks over to me and is about to sit when suddenly Theo growls and stands up. I look over at him and he only has eyes for Persephone. She looks like she is about to run so I put my hand on her arm to get her attention. Once her attention is on me I send Hydrus a mind link to see why Theo is acting like that. Persephone sits next to me while Hydrus is draging Theo across the room to a corner to talk.

“Here, can you help me go through these files and put things together. We can have another table brought in to spread it all out to make it easier.” I say as I hand over some files to Persephone.

“I think it would be best to have another table.” Persephone says.

The doors open and another table and white board are being brought in. I wait til they are set up and then Persephone and I go over and start the grueling task of sifting through the files. Graham and Oliver came over to help us as well.

“Oliver, where is Shauna’s file?” I ask.

“I am sorry your Majesty but I could not replace it.” Oliver says shaking his head.

“Hydrus are you two done yet? I need you over here.” I yell out.

Hydrus and Theo look over at me then go back to talking. They are irritating me and my other mates can tell. So I just ignore them all and go back to sifting through the files with Persephone, Graham, and Oliver. We start to finally organize them out on the table. Once we are satisfied we start putting them up on the board. When finished we step back and look at the work we did. There is still stuff missing and I am not sure if it would have been in the files I still do not have or not.

“I need that bloody file Hydrus.” I yell.

That got his attention and he brought it over to me. Theo glares at us then goes and sits back down. I do not know what his problem is but I am not going to deal with this crap for much longer. I glare back at him which surprises him a little and he drops his eyes. I open the file in my hands and start sifting through it. I start putting some of the missing information up on the board then set the file down on the table with the rest. I look to the board again and realize that things are starting to make a little more sense but there is a large chunk that we are missing. I have a feeling that it is in Shauna’s file that is apparently missing.

“Hydrus what happened to Shauna’s file?” I ask.

“I gave it to Fenrir after you dealt with her. But I did not replace it with the file I just gave you.” He responded.

“Of course not. Why can nothing ever be so easy. The information in that file would have cracked this investigation wide open.” I say irritably as I turn around and go to sit back down.

The men get up and check out what Persephone, Graham, Oliver, and I have done and they all have these weird shocked and awe looks on their faces. They stand there contemplating every thing on the board. Slowly I see light bulbs going off in their heads. One by one they come back to the table and sit down. I hand a copy of the list to each of them that I did up while they were staring at the board.
