Fall For “My Husband’s Uncle” By Janet Macadam -
Chapter 104
Chapter 104
Carlos took a deep breath, sat up cross–legged, and said coldly, “I’ll give you one last chance. Do you remember what I told you last night?”
“Huh? What did you tell me? I only remember going to drink, and then… I have no memories of anything else.”
“Does that mean you were too drunk to remember anything from last night?” Carlos had a deep frown on his face, his brows knitted together tightly. He was about to get frustrated to death by Edith.
Edith just scratched her head in embarrassment. It seemed that he was right.
“Yeah… I drank too much. Uncle Carlos, what did you tell me last night? You can tell me again now. Also… why are we sleeping on the same bed?”
That made Carlos narrow his eyes fiercely. His gaze was cold and sharp like that of an eagle, which would make anyone’s scalp go numb with one glance.
This look had a deterrent effect. Edith did not even dare to look at him.
She lowered his head and soon, his cold words came.
“I met you at the bar last night and brought you back. I wanted to leave at first, but you were too clingy, kissing and hugging me. You forced me to sleep with you for the night and promised to take care of me. You even said that you’re going to get a divorce with Simon, so you could be with me!”
He seemed to have spoken through his teeth, sounding a little fierce.
“In short, you have to take care of me from today onwards.”
“What?” Edith said as she looked up at him in disbelief.
Edith’s eyes widened in disbelief as she looked at Carlos. She was scared out of her wits.
“What the hell? I’m just a weak little girl. How could I possibly have forced him to succumb to me? He’s clearly lying!” she thought to herself.
“Don’t… don’t sprout all those nonsenses. You’re well–dressed, and nothing appears like what you’ve said. Besides, you’re a man and you’re much stronger than I am. Why would you succumb to me?”
Carlos just replied with an indifferent “oh” and stood up straight.
He was already much taller than her, but now that he was standing on the bed, he appeared to be a giant to her.
On the other hand, Edith was sitting on the ground and raising her head to look up at him.
Carlos, with his head lowered, was looking at Edith with an unkind look, as if he wanted to strangle her to death.
Now, she was trying her best just to keep her head up.
In confusion, she stared at him, not understanding what he was up to. Suddenly, he removed his robe and threw it to the ground:
Edith was so scared that she quickly covered her eyes and turned around. “Uncle Carlos… you’re being a pervert right now!”
“You were the one who was too wild last night and stripped me naked. How can you say that I’m the pervert here?” Carlos
lied.
Carlos got down from the bed. Edith had no idea what he was doing, as she did not have the guts to look at him.
When Edith heard his words, she fumed with anger.
“He’s so bad at lying! Does he take me for a fool?” Edith thought.
Before Edith could refute, he said indifferently, “Besides, I wanted you to be my wife since the beginning. Why would I refuse you when you invited me to sleep with you?”
“What…”
Edith was speechless and could not replace any words to refute him.
At this moment, Carlos took out a piece of paper and placed it in front of her.
“Sign this agreement.”
Edith’s heart trembled as she looked at the piece of paper and asked, “What… what is this?”
