Several nights of blending in the dark and taking the lives of the targets we had have passed.

Our hands were already stained with blood. The blood of the people who had partaken the tyrannyof Alpha Kain.

As our side took down one target, all of us watched their movements. Trying to get ready forwhatever retaliation the Blood Hound Pack would make in response.

We held our breaths and braced ourselves, it was like a dance, unpredictable in each move. Likehungry wolves stalking our prey we continued to observe them carefully before making any moves.“We have already planted the evidence on the packs whom we target as traitors and theassassination team has already moved to complete the first batch of powers that has to beeliminated...” As we convened in the room, the Frost Fang Pack’s true beta reported the progress ofthe operations.

“Surprisingly, there is no news yet from our side, it seems like Alpha Kain is not really botheredlosing a few Alphas in his roster.” My aide reported.

"If it was the early stages, I would have felt relieved that he doesn't care. However, we have alreadytaken down our targets. Their lack of reaction bothers me at this point.” Joining us in the meetingwas the real Alpha Sabre.

His demeanor was as cold and stoic as mine, however his wisdom in assasination and leading covertmissions far exceeded mine. He was also the most senior in age among the Alphas in our alliance,only a few years younger than Teacher Astor.

With him showing worry, the mood of the entire room turned gloomy as well. Chloe and I look upto him because he has experience in things like warfare and assasination, as such the two of uscould not help but have worrisome feelings as well.

“Then, there may not have been enough provocation...” After sometime, Chloe said slowly afterthinking about the situation deeply.

“We shall start moving to take down the people we had on our second roster...” She added.

“But Alpha Chloe... the packs in the second roster are all from the powerhouse. They were the packsthat held controlling power over Alpha Kain's dominions. We could even say that all of them werealready his arms and limbs!”

“The normal assasination tactic will not work with them... we may even have to engage in a largescale battle in order to take them out.” Hearing Chloe's suggestion, Idris politely voiced his opinion.Seeing that both of them had a point, I looked at the rest and asked, “What does everyone think?"The sound of discussion invaded the hall as the rest tried to contemplate what the two parties said.They started to weigh the pros and cons of both sides but still could not come up with a decision. Inthe end, the discussions intensified as everyone had their own sides they wanted to defend.“Enough...” In the midst of this brewing chaos a dignified and authoritative voice thundered in thehall and caught the attention of everyone.

Chloe had a relaxed expression, but she met my gaze, expressing her interest on what Alpha Sabrewould say.

Alpha Sabre’s voice made the bustling room quiet. With our eyes on him he said with a clear andsteady tone, “While I also agree with what my strongest warrior, Idriss said, I could not disregard thetruth in Alpha Chloe's words.”

“Even as we finished doing what we needed to do for the people we had in the first roster, andAlpha Kain is still not shaken, then our purpose has been defeated. As such, we are basically back tosquare one.”

As hurtful as it may sound, everyone kept silent after hearing the harsh reality on Alpha Sabre'swords.

“All of us did not want to waste the hard work that we had already started, Am I right?”

"And so, let's make our next move really count! Let's choose only one pack in the roster and use allefforts to take them down.”

With that, our team started to plan once more, from the second roster we decided to pick one packthat is deemed critical for Alpha Kain's control in the far south

Its location, situation and qualities were perfect for being the guard pack of the south, there is alsoa possibility that the other nearby packs would come immediately for help. Thus as Idris had said, anormal assasination team may not even stand a chance even if we tried.

We need to take more people to do this mission, which our alliance isn't ready to do at the moment.As of now the members of the Blood Moon, Frost Fang and Silver pack each have their own roles.Some of us had to pose as Frost Fang Pack, stationed inside the territory of the Blood Hound Pack,the others were assigned for the assassination and the rest were still on training, getting ready forthe all out war.

Even so everyone was on board with this as we finally met in agreement, as such, the alliancestarted to reorganize manpower. The attack will happen in a week's time, enough for us to prepareand use the information we have at hand.

While the others organize and execute the attack, I and my men continue to show ourselves insidethe Blood Hound Pack territory. We carefully did our duties, whatever Alpha Kain and the elderswanted to let us do.

So much so that even if we could feel the blatant belittling of Blood Hound Pack toward us, afterboasting about how such a mysterious pack like us bowed down to their Alpha, we acted like loyalsubjects just to protect our position inside the camp.

During those days of waiting, everyone of us could see how the Blood Hound pack doesn't see ourprevious attacks as something threatening.

In fact Alpha Kain thought that Chloe's side were doing the Blood Hound Pack a favor byeliminating the packs that are too weak for their reputation.

Disgusted as I was, I still continued doing what I should be doing as Alpha Sabre of the Frost FangPack, his loyal assassin unit.

Finally, after days of waiting, the news of the annihilation of the South Woods Pack and all thenearby packs in the south has reached Alpha Kain's ears.

To make the matter worse, the news clearly said that Alpha Kain had already lost his dominion andcontrol of the Southern pack!

“Chloe... you did d*mn welll!" Inside of me I was feeling extremely proud as I heard Chloe's feat.Their mission was extremely difficult and we had only expected to just take down a few of the packsin the south.

But to hear from the enemy's mouth that Chloe managed to take the entire southern territory, ittook me a lot of self control not to exclaim loudly how proud I was for my mate.

Bang!!!

After hearing the news, Alpha Kain's rage exploded and his oppressive aura covered the hallcompletely. The Alphas and elders around instantly fell to the ground and could not bear the weightof his might.

Surprisingly for me, it doesn't even do that much, proving to me that my powers had grownexponentially since the time Chloe accepted me as her mate again.

Feigning weakness, I joined the others as we all collapsed on the ground. My mind was rejoicingthat finally he would have to make a move. I waited in anticipation, expecting that our Frost Fangpack will see who the key people of Blood Hound's army was, as this is the information we wantedto achieve at this moment.

“Gauss!” Alpha. Kain's voice roared as he looked at the person whom I did not expected to bechosen at this point in time.

“Go out and eliminate your arrogant niece!!"
