Fated to Love You Again (Shawn and Norah)
Chapter 114 Shawn, Farewell Forever

Chapter 114 Shawn, Farewell Forever

Norah was blooding more and more. She was so scared that she spoke incoherently.

She mentioned the baby that was her last bargaining chip.

If he didn't even believe that and didn't come to save her, she would completely give up and never hold onto even the slightest bit of hope for him again. "Norah, ever since we shared a room, we have always taken precautions against pregnancy. If you made another excuse, I might have believed you."

When Shawn's voice came through again, Norah felt like her world had turned dark, and there was no more light.

The sun in her world had fallen.

It had fallen forever, and would never rise again.

Norah held onto her phone and spoke with a decisive tone, "Shawn, whether you want to believe it or not, I'm not lying to you. I did get into a car accident. Our baby and I are really in danger. If you replace out the truth one day, I won't forgive you."

After speaking, Norah hung up the phone.

Immediately, she called the ambulance.

She needed to survive, she had to. Only then could the baby be safe.

But just after she pressed the numbers for the ambulance, she had a nervous breakdown because her phone was dead.

She tried to turn it off and restart it, once, twice, three times...

But nothing worked.

The phone was now like a useless black brick in her hand, and it was useless.

If she had known that he would give such an answer, she wouldn't have wasted her last chance and last hope on him.

She would have just called the ambulance without hesitation.

But in this world, there were no such assumptions, and all she had were regrets.

Throwing her phone aside, Norah gritted her teeth and cried out in pain.

After crying, she wiped away the tears on her face without any care for her appearance. She knew that no one else would come to save her now, except for herself. "Baby, hold on. You have to hold on."

"Mommy will replace a way. Mommy will make sure nothing happens to you."

She had to get out of the car. Only then would there be a glimmer of hope.

Looking at the door next to the driver, Norah used all her strength to crawl over and unlock the door.

The rain was still pouring down.

Just as she opened the door, the rain poured in like a flood, soaking her entire body. The blood was mixed with the rain, running down her body crazily.

At this moment, Norah's white dress was covered in blood stains, like a bunch of enchanting little flowers in full bloom.

It was so miserable and harsh.

The rain was pouring down heavily. Norah was so cold that she shivered all over. She was freezing.

Her hands were numb due to the low temperature, and her entire body was frozen, as if she had just crawled out of a cellar.

Finally, she crawled out of the car door.

Just as she tried to stand up, she felt a sharp pain in her leg.

If she guessed correctly, her leg was probably broken.

It hurt so much.

But no matter how painful it was, it couldn't compare to the pain in her heart.

The pain Shawn had caused her was like a knife, piercing her heart, killing her with every blow.

So, the pain in her body was nothing!

There were a few cars on the road, but not none.

Norah struggled to get to the roadside, waving her hands frantically, hoping that a passing car would stop and take her to the hospital or help her make a phone call.

But the rain was too heavy, and some drivers didn't even see her waving.

Some drivers saw the wreckage of the accident and were afraid of getting into trouble, so they didn't dare to stop.

Norah had no other choice. It was a matter of life and death.

As another car approached in the distance. Norah suddenly closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and ran toward the car with her broken leg, opening her arms to stop the speeding vehicle. There was a loud screech of brakes, and the car stopped just a few centimeters away from her.

In other words, if the car had been a little faster, or hadn't slowed down, or if she had been a little closer, she would have died.

When Norah realized that she hadn't died, she opened her eyes and smiled with relief.

Then she went to the car door and begged, "I got into a car accident. Could you help me call an ambulance? Please, I beg you."

As soon as she finished speaking, the car door suddenly opened, and a man with a fat face got out. When he saw Norah, he pushed her to the ground.

Norah wasn't ready, so she was pushed far away.

There was a piercing pain in her tailbone, and more importantly, the push caused more blood to flow out of her body.

She was in so much pain that she couldn't even stand up.

Covered in blood and soaking wet, she was cursed by the man. "Crazy woman! If you want to die, die somewhere else. Why are you getting me involved?" "You're covered in blood. I really have bad luck going out today. It's so unlucky."

"B*tch, go away! Get out of my way."

He cursed and got into his car.

Then, Norah watched helplessly as the car quickly raced off into the distance. Even when the driver left, he intentionally splashed a puddle of water onto Norah's body.

In an instant, her body and face were covered in dirty water, making her look extremely disheveled.

Norah wanted to crawl to the roadside, knowing how dangerous it was to stay in the middle of the road.

However, she didn't have any strength left in her body. The pain was so severe even when she took a breath.

She missed her mother and her grandfather so much.

Maybe this time, God wouldn't be kind to her, and she really had to die.

It would be better that way. In heaven, she would be happier than living here.

At least her mother and grandfather who loved her were in heaven. They would dote on her and protect her from harm and injustice.

And her baby would be with her too.

"I'm sorry, baby. I broke my promise. I failed to protect you."

"But don't worry. No matter what, I will always be with you."

A final smile spread across Norah's face as she placed her hand on her belly, giving up her pursuit of life.

Because she knew that no one was coming to save her.

Her mother and grandfather had passed away.

Her gambling-addicted father was unreliable.

The person she loved the most in this world, her husband, suspected that all of this was a staged act and didn't believe her at all.

Or maybe it was just an excuse that Shawn gave himself!

Even if he believed her and knew about her accident, and that she and the baby were in danger, he still firmly chose Lilian, the woman whom he loved wholeheartedly. 'Norah, you lost. You lost everything.'

So, she finally realized.

"Shawn, if there's a next life, we won't meet again."

"Shawn, farewell. This time, it's for real."
