"What's happening to her?" One of the guards asked. His face was etched with concern as he watched us from the rear mirror.

"None of your business. Just step on it." Zeke murmured, stretching his hands to cup my face. "You complained about this in the morning.

I scoffed weakly, feeling my strength leave me. "And you ignored me." My mind went back to when I felt numb and a bit weak. Panicking, I ran into Zeke's room.
