Nisha's Point of View

"Why are you behaving so obstinately, like a child? It's as if you want to get hurt! Kneel down! You can't eat at this time. You're a constant annoyance to me!" He was furious with me, and his words made me cry.

He cut my shoulder, and though I was upset, I didn't say anything. All I could do was cry even more. I couldn't understand why I couldn't move. The emotional pain I felt was far more intense than any physical injury.

This was the third time he had hurt me. Someone rushed in, seeing the situation, and shook my body, as if trying to wake me from this nightmare.

"Nisha, wake up!" Slowly, I opened my eyes and noticed Shawn's worried expression. I wasn't sure what had happened to me. I recalled him sharing more about his own past and why he had agreed to participate in the study. His story had overwhelmed me, causing me to pass out.

"S-Shawn..." I managed to utter as I slowly rose to my feet with his assistance. What had gone wrong? I couldn't seem to replace the right words to express myself. I felt as though I was a million miles away from everything. Was something wrong with me? I tried to say something, but before I could, we heard a tremendous bang from the door, indicating that it had been forcefully opened. I turned to see Nathalie standing there, a mix of hope and concern in her eyes.

"Oh, my goodness! You've woken up! Nisha, how are you doing? I am-no, we are very concerned about you!" Nathalie exclaimed, revealing her true feelings to me. I remained still as she hugged and held me tightly, as if we hadn't seen each other in a long time. My face was filled with awe, trying to comprehend what was going on. How long had I been asleep? Shawn, on the other hand, burst out laughing.

"My experience is the reason you dropped out and fell asleep. You've been sleeping and resting for the past month and a half. I tried to wake you up earlier when you were moving, trembling, and sweating. It seems like you're already showing some reaction," Shawn explained, leaving me stunned. Could he be serious? Have I really been asleep for a month and 15 days? No wonder I feel so disconnected from everything, especially from my lessons and classes.

"Don't worry, my father will excuse you for a while. For now, I'll leave you with Nathalie. I'll consult with a doctor to see if you should return to your dorm," he assured me.

As he kissed me on the forehead before leaving and turning his back on us, I was taken aback. Nathalie simply smiled and sat next to me, gently stroking my hair. I shook my head, trying to make sense of everything that had happened after I slept for so long.

"I understand you have a lot of questions, and I promise to answer them honestly. But first, let me explain. I made a vow," she said, and I closed my mouth, waiting for her to elaborate. I needed to be prepared for whatever she was about to reveal. Everything felt so chaotic and confusing to me. What might have transpired outside of the campus during the time I was asleep? What happened at Clint High in Ottawa? And what about Bryan and the lady? My mind was flooded with numerous questions.

"After the ambush at Ottawa Clint High, another piece of information came to light while you were unconscious. After the fire was finally extinguished, a new structure was erected on the site," she paused and let out a long sigh. "It's been several days, and the construction of a huge building for a new company called Red-In-A01 is underway. Unfortunately, it's true that they claim to be preparing to take on the Peur Organization."

As she mentioned the newly formed organization, we exchanged glances, both uncertain about their true intentions. What was the purpose of this Red-In-A01? Were they truly aiming for something good, or did they have a more dangerous agenda?

"Then?" I asked, steeling myself for another revelation, trying to regain my strength in preparation for whatever she was about to tell me.

"Many students have perished, but unfortunately, that was to be expected. They spared those who were not involved in any wrongdoing," she said, and her words left me stunned. What did she mean by this? They killed a large number of students, yet now they claim they didn't harm any innocent people? It sounded like a ridiculous argument to me.

"They were all part of the Peur Organization's experiment, Nisha. They're going to transform into monsters soon, and there's a high chance they'll cause havoc because they are failed experiments," Nathalie continued, her words causing my mind to go blank. My fist clenched, and I shook my head in disbelief.

"Nathalie, they are innocent! They had no knowledge of the experiment," I said with a gruff tone, my anger rising as I spoke. I felt furious, and whoever was responsible would have to pay the price. "Instead of killing them, they should replace a solution! Isn't there a way to reverse it?" I sobbed, looking at Nathalie's face as she observed my distressed state. She quickly stood up, taking my hand to comfort and calming me down.

"Please, Nisha, calm down. It's not helpful to lose control. Everything that happens in your body must be under your control. It has the potential to impact not just you but also the City of Ottawa. Please pay close attention to what I'm saying," Nathalie pleaded. As I gradually calmed down, I took a deep breath and tried to collect myself. I could sense Nathalie's anxiety through her pulse, and it resonated with me, making her concern evident.

"We're doing everything we can to help them, Nisha. Our goal is to create Fentynol-a treatment for Opioid addicts-but so far, we haven't succeeded. It has been a challenging journey, as only Scarlett was able to make progress with it. I hope you understand the magnitude of the situation," she explained, trying to persuade me.

My initial hope had been shattered. The realization of our powerlessness weighed heavily on me, leaving me breathless. I took another deep breath to steady myself and asked a few more questions.

"Have you heard anything about Bryan?" I inquired in a cold tone. Nathalie let out a sigh and returned to her seat.

"Bryan Custodio, the one and only? The person who sent me the warning letter?" she asked, realizing that Nathalie was already aware of the letter and familiar with Bryan. My worries seemed to have been unfounded.

"Yes," I replied.

"I'm sorry to have to tell you this. He attempted to escape before, and he succeeded because he didn't feel safe within the campus," Nathalie explained. Is Bryan still alive? But what she said next shattered me completely. "We found their bodies near Greenhills. They've all disappeared," she said, leaving me feeling sorrowful, exhausted, and filled with anger, as if my one-month and fifteen-day rest had been abruptly taken away.

When will our suffering end?

Third Person's Point of View

The sound of shattered glass echoed in all four corners of the large room. An elderly man had lost control, his emotions running wild. Clutching his hand, he locked his gaze on the man kneeling in front of him, delivering the dreadful news.

"What do you mean they're on the fucking organization's periphery?" The elderly man roared so loudly that anyone who heard it trembled in fear.

"Master, please accept my heartfelt apologies. However, they are no longer in our employ," the old man's fist was clenched, trying to maintain his composure despite the intense situation.

This can't be right! This is utterly insane. They are testing my patience, and I have no other choice but to make my final decision. He told himself this as he started planning something in response. Even the construction of the university was on his to-do list. He couldn't trust anyone in his immediate vicinity, as they seemed like traitors.

"Now is the time to begin the war. Prepare your group and train them until they are ready for battle. We'll ambush the Green University of Ottawa as we have planned. Kidnap the students and transport them to the Ottawa Tomb. That's all there is to it. Leave right now," the man nodded in acknowledgment and stood up to leave his master's office, obeying the old man's orders.

Alone in the room, the old man sighed deeply, feeling exhausted. He had immense wealth, yet he refused to give up on his dreams of becoming the praised Lord by everyone. He made a promise to himself that he would take care of everything once his wife passed away. If he wanted to initiate the battle, he would do so.

He was also curious to know who the genius behind the company was. While this wasn't a new interest, the organization kept revealing information about themselves, believing they had a formidable defense to defeat the Peur Organization. However, the old man, who was currently seated, was determined not to let the adversary's plot succeed.

His bullet supply had eventually run out, so he turned to filtering everything through Fentanyl. He attempted to contact Mr. No, a renowned scientist, who had previously assisted the elderly man in his self-experimentation. Indeed, the old man was engaging in self-experimentation to gain power and control, which was the sole reason he was still alive. However, all of his previous experiments had failed due to his deteriorating physical condition and limited time left to live. He dreaded the idea of failing again.

Mr. No was an enigmatic scientist with an unknown past, and he was the creator of the first Fentanyl. The elderly man approached Mr. No to secure more Fentanyl for himself, and surprisingly, the scientist obliged. Each time he spoke to Mr. No, he felt nervous but did his best to remain composed.

The old man was deeply engrossed in his thoughts, realizing that what was unfolding in his mind was indeed real, and there was no way to stop it.

"If I die," he contemplated, "there will be even more chaos. Many businesses will be affected, and something far worse might transpire."
