Horace knew her plan so he didn't get surprised as she saw Laura. But Clara's question did confuse him.

"What did you replace, Clara?" Horace said seriously. In his mind, Laura was also a victim of the kidnap. Why did Clara ask this?

Otherwise, I won't let you go easily." Horace didn't take Laura's words seriously. Now in his eyes Laura was nobody but a liar as she had lied to him for thousands of times.

Laura felt her world were collapsing before her mind's eyes. Horace didn't even believe a single word of hers.

"Why don't you believe me? I'm telling the truth. Clara is a liar. You should believe me!" Laura said desperately. She knew she would lose the game if Horace made up his mind not to believe her. Clara looked up at Horace and she found the anger in his eyes, which she had never seen before. Horace didn't believe Laura's words and that inspired some hope in her mind.

Clara moved her fingers to the "post" button and said, "No one here would believe you, Laura. I'll post those photos if you still refuse to tell the truth."

"Don't you dare!" Laura had almost lost her mind. But she still knew that she couldn't let Horace know the truth.

"Horace, please, trust me..." Laura still wanted Horace to believe her. If Horace didn't believe Clara's words, she didn't have to fear.
