Flash Marriage: Slow Down Mister
Chapter 566 She Knows

Unlike playful and lavish Logan, Leilah was a family woman with the virtue of conservation. They complimented each other, and they were also similar. To be together was best for them.

Clara thought and imagined their postnuptial life.

It must be warm and romantic.

"Seriously, do you like Logan?"

If it was so, then Clara had to ask Logan's opinion.

If they were in love, Clara would be a matchmaker.

Influenced by Clara's earnestness, Leilah unconsciously got severe.

"Yes."

She was firm., which was enough to prove that it was not a lie. Clara didn't want Logan to miss out on such a good girl.

"That's good. Don't worry, I'll help you."

Clara didn't expect Logan to be attracted by Leilah, and for the first time, she felt that Logan was good at love.

"How are you going to help me?" Leilah was nervous.

What was Clara going to do?

A big question mark formed in Leilah's mind, and she felt insecure not to ask it.

"Of course, it's to set you up." Clara glanced at Leilah and then started the work.

Although she came early, the chat delayed her work time.

Although Clara was the president's wife, and no one dared to criticize her, it was better to behave.

Seeing that Clara had no intention to continue talking, Leilah shook her head and returned to work.

Time quickly passed, and Clara texted Logan to have lunch together.

Although Clara wanted to bring Leilah with her, she did not know what Logan had in mind, so it was better to ask for clarification first. "Lunch together. No refusal. The address is sent to you."

Logan quickly replied, "Okay."

After that, Clara went to the restaurant.

Before leaving, she even showed Leilah a special goodbye, which made Leilah have a terrible feeling.

But after all, it was only a feeling, and Leilah just smiled and waved toward Clara.

The restaurant that Clara booked was just below the office, so she didn't have to drive.

Logan was speechless, but after all, he needed to spoil his sister.

He had already arrived when Clara went down. She knew she would be lectured, so she rolled her eyes while walking. As Clara expected, Logan did start a long lecture.

He was imprudent in the company, but once with someone closed, he would be talkative. Clara knew it very well.

"It's so close, but you still make me wait for you."

"Can you choose a restaurant that is any closer?"

"Complain to me just on the second day of your wedding?"

Clara put her hand on her lips and coughed, signaling that Logan could shut up.

"What's wrong? Is your throat uncomfortable?"

Seeing Clara coughing, Logan stopped and intended to call the waiter when he was interrupted by her. "You are annoying."

Clara knew his temper, so she dared to speak without mercy. She knew that Logan would not be angry.

"Fine, fine, I won't say anything. Why do you ask me for lunch?"

Logan looked at Clara dotingly and sat waiting for her to speak.

Clara ordered dishes first and then let Logan order some more before she started talking.

"I have a question, and you have to answer seriously."

Clara feared Logan would give her a playful answer, so she clarified it in advance.

"Okay." Logan got serious.

"Do you like Leilah?" Looking at Logan's eyes, Clara waited for Logan's answer.

"Leilah?" Logan was confused. Why was she mentioned?

Clara nodded and continued to stare at Logan.

"Hmm, not to the point of liking, but she is really nice. It's good to date her if it's possible."

Logan had actually been waiting for a girl like Leilah, but they had only just met twice.

It was hard to define his emotions to her. So it was necessary to wait for them to spend more time together before Logan could give a definite answer. Therefore, he didn't answer specifically.

But Clara was already delighted.

She initially was afraid he would deny it, but his answer revealed a possibility.

Clara was cheerful during the whole lunch.

It was good to replace her brother a terrific wife.

"What's wrong? Why are you asking it?" Only after finishing the meal did Logan ask.

No talking while eating. They behaved well.

It was the most basic courtesy not to speak while eating.

"Because Leilah likes you. I came to set up a match." Clara said it directly because she knew that even if she kept silent, he could guess it with intelligence.

"So that's it, you called me out today just for this, right?"

Logan found out the primary purpose of Clara's visit.

"Right. I'll go." Clara checked the time. It was almost time to go to work.

She had to rush to the office.

"Take your time."

Logan could only remind her not to fall.

"Got it," Clara replied, and then he couldn't see Clara anymore.

When Logan was about to leave, he found she hadn't paid for the meal.

Only then did Logan realize that there were two reasons why Clara asked him out today.

The first was to ask him the question, and the second was to ask him to treat her to lunch. He was well aware of her thoughts.

After paying the bill, he left the restaurant.
