Flash Marriage: Slow Down Mister
Chapter 573 Do You Like Me?

"So, tell me, what's going on?" Clara couldn't wait to know how Leilah captured Logan's heart in three days.

Leilah told her what happened over the days.

That night, Logan was lost in thought after seeing Leilah outside the bathroom. He spent the whole night trying to figure out his feelings for her. He knew he liked Leilah. Otherwise, he wouldn't let her stay in his house.

The next day was the weekend, so there was no class.

After breakfast, they sat on the sofa chilling. Logan suddenly became serious. He stared at Leilah in the eyes, asking, "Leilah, do you like me?" Leilah was stunned hearing the question.

Was it so obvious? Would Logan kick her out of the house now that he had found it out?

Leilah was in a panic. She looked at Logan's eyes, knowing that she couldn't lie. She was kind of shy yet she still said honestly, "Yes, I do."

At this moment, they looked at each other in great sincerity, like nothing else mattered.

"Me too. So, let's date."

Leilah was stunned. Dating?

Leilah liked Logan. But she never dared to expect anything. Now Logan said he liked her too, and he even proposed a date!

Logan misunderstood Leilah's reaction. He thought she didn't want it.

"Trust me, I'll be good to you." Hearing this, Leilah threw herself into Logan's arms.

She had been waiting for this moment for a long time.

Her family was not rich. She was afraid that Logan would take her as a gold digger. So, she hid her feelings deep inside. Yet the deeper she hid it, the stronger it became. Leilah didn't know what was going on. But since Logan mentioned it, why not?

People in love were supposed to be together.

"That's it?" Clara was surprised at their speed.

"Yup." Leilah nodded, then looked at Clara, waiting for her opinion.

"Be good to each other. You are in luck this time that Logan realized his feelings for you. Otherwise, Leilah, you'll have a lot more to suffer."

If Logan didn't realize that he liked Leilah, they would have a harder time.

"So, I have to thank you for this time." Logan looked at Clara with gratitude. Clara could see the doting smile in his eyes.

"It's nothing. But if you want to thank me, let's talk about it in detail later." Clara began to get serious. When talking about rewards, Clara was full of interest. She liked joking around with Logan. "Okay, in that case, Leilah, let's go up. Neo is about to finish the class." Logan took Leilah's hand and turned to leave.

Clara was amused. Logan was pretty proud of himself.

He was like saying, "I have already taken care of the child for you, what else do you want?"

Clara played with her phone downstairs, and Neo walked down.

Clara put down her phone, reached out to Neo, and hugged him.

"Did you miss me, Neo boy?" Neo seemed to be a little heavier. It seemed that he had been eating well these days.

"Of course, I did!" Neo said, kissing Clara, looking happy.

Neo waited three days. And finally, yesterday, Logan told him that Clara was coming back.

Neo didn't believe it until he saw Clara.

"Daddy and I missed you very much too."

Clara hugged Neo, both of them smiling happily.

"So, let's go home?"

"Okay." Neo couldn't wait to go home.

Logan was good to Neo. But Neo still liked his parents more.

Parents were irreplaceable.

Clara knew this too.

She then went upstairs and knocked on the door.

Logan and Leilah were passionately in love. To avoid embarrassment, she'd better knock on the door before entering it.

Clara had been there. So, she understood.

Leilah quickly opened the door after hearing the knocks.

"Logan, Leilah. You guys have fun. I'll take Neo home."

Clara saw that the two of them were dressed properly, so she said, carrying Neo.

"Okay, got it." Logan knew that Clara would come over to say goodbye before she left.

"Well, Neo, say goodbye to your uncle and Leilah." Clara looked at Neo. She wanted him to be a polite child.

"Goodbye, uncle. Goodbye, Leilah."

"Wait, shouldn't it be uncle and auntie?"

Logan actually didn't like this title. He was not that old, come on!

Clara chuckled.

Then, she left with Neo. When they got home, it was already afternoon. Clara played with Neo for a while and informed the teachers to change places for the classes.

Then Horace came back.

"Daddy, you're finally back, I missed you."

Horace had just entered the house. Before he changed his shoes, Neo hugged him tightly.

Although Neo relied on Clara at home, Horace had always been his role model.

He also wanted to be a successful man like Horace, and take good care of his parents.

"Neo boy, I missed you too."

The happiest thing for Horace was having his wife look at him, and his child rush over to him every time he came home.

Horace threw Neo in the air a few times. Then Clara asked them for dinner.

"Neo, have you had a good time at your uncle's house?" After eating, Horace chatted with Neo on the sofa.

"I have! But I miss daddy and mommy." Neo answered honestly.

Horace was happy to hear that. Then he said to Neo, "You have to learn to be independent, okay?"

Neo was only eight years old. It was too early to be independent for him. and was too early to say these. But it was necessary to build this thought in his mind as early as possible. Neo wasn't like kids of his age. He needed to know those things.

"I see." Neo listened carefully to Horace's words.

Neo knew that if he wanted to be someone like Horace, he had to listen to Horace. Only in this way could he become strong.

"Good."

After a while, then Clara came over. She looked at Neo.

"Neo boy, you don't have class tomorrow, would you like to go visit a granny with me?"

Clara wanted Helena to see Neo. Helena has just been discharged from the hospital, she wanted to check out how she was doing.

"Sure."

Neo agreed. The family of three chatted for a while and then returned to their rooms.

Clara looked at the ceiling above the bedroom, waiting for Horace to come out of the shower.
