"I was with my friends." Laura nodded, then prepared to sleep.

"By the way, I'm going to hide Neo in a place that Clara can't replace tomorrow to make her anxious for a few days. Keep the secret for me.

Laura reminded Helena in case she gave her away by accident.

Soon, Horace returned. Seeing Leilah, he nodded as a greeting.

Horace didn't treat Leilah like this before. But now that Leilah was Logan's girlfriend, he needed to be more respectful.

Leilah watched the two of them sitting on the sofa, showing affection, and hoped that Logan would come quicker so she wouldn't be embarrassed.

As she wished, not long after Horace returned home, Logan walked in.

Clara and Horace both called Logan. Logan nodded. He glanced at Leilah and then sat directly next to her.

"Why are you here?" He thought Leilah should be home after getting off work.

Why was she here? Chatting with Clara?

"I came here to teach Neo, until now." Leilah glanced at Logan and then said sweetly.

Leilah was elegant and gentle. Logan liked the way she spoke.

"Well, I see. Horace, you'll have to raise her salary." Logan looked at the man.

It was always Clara who teased himself, now he finally had a chance to tease back. That was cool.

"Well, okay." Horace nodded. He was too rich to care about that little bit of money.

Yet somebody cared.

"No, why?" Clara glanced at Horace, then pulled out the purse in Horace's pocket and guarded it like a treasure.

When Leilah saw this, she immediately smiled. It was the first time Leilah saw Clara like this, it was funny. But because Horace was here, she controlled herself.

"Why not?" Logan looked at Clara and asked rhetorically.

"Leilah wanted to teach Neo. We didn't force her." Clara argued. Leilah kept smiling.

"If that's the case, you should pay more."

"That's unfair."

Horace stopped Clara when she was about to continue.

"Logan, ... Leilah, get ready for dinner." Horace didn't know how to address Leilah, so he called her the same as Clara did.

Clara was amused when she heard him pause. It turned out that Horace also had a cute side.

Logan took Leilah to the table. Clara, Neo, and Horace sat across them.

It was the first time the five of them had eaten together, so the atmosphere at the table was different from in the living room just now, where they were joking at each other.

Like a big family dinner, it felt warm. Clara loved the feeling.

"Leilah, try this." Logan put Leilah's favorite dish into her plate.

"Ask your man to do it for you." Logan noticed that Clara was looking at him with an expression that he didn't understand.

"Logan, since when did you know how to take care of others?" Clara just wanted to tease Logan.

Clara was delighted to see such a happy Logan. Of course, she wouldn't give up any chance of making fun of him. However, Logan only threw a glance at Clara and then continued talking to Leilah. After dinner, they left. Logan first sent Leilah home. By the time he got back to his house, it was pretty late.

Clara and Horace returned to their bedroom after saying goodnight to Neo.

"What?"

"Today, Shane came to the house. You... aren't angry, right? Clara was not guilty, so she shouldn't mind talking about it.

Horace smiled and stepped forward, caressed Clara's face, and fell asleep with her.
