Flirting With My Ex-husband -
Chapter 455
Scarlett knew that Larry wanted to help and support her. When she was in the Shaw's, Raymond's relatives often made things difficult for her. Now it was Raymond's turn. She wouldn't feel sorry for him. 'I'm such an unforgiving woman.'
After Larry finished speaking, he put down his fork, asked the waiter to take two sets of cutleries and ordered two dishes more. Then he looked up at Raymond and said," Miss Sheridan said that Mr. Shaw was pursuing Scarlett?"
Raymond said, "It's true."
Raymond looked at Larry and replied calmly.
Larry took a sip of water and said, "As far as I know, hasn't Mr. Shaw divorced Scarlett a year ago? Is it right?"
Raymond said, "Mr. Tank, you remember correctly."
Larry looked down at the cup. Raymond couldn't see his expression. Larry said, "I feel confused. You have divorced Scarlett for one year. Then why do you pursue her? If you like her, why did you get a divorce?"
Larry looked at him aggressively.
Raymond didn't feel afraid at all. He said, "I was too young and didn't know to cherish her. After I got a divorce, I gradually realize how excellent she is. I regretted it and decided to win her heart back." Larry smiled faintly and said loudly, "You regret it, but it has nothing to do with Scarlett. You didn't cherish her before. Now you realize that you are wrong. Why should Scarlett forgive you?"
As soon as Larry finished speaking, he put the cup on the table with a loud sound.
Alexander was shocked by Larry while he was rubbernecking and eating. He was choked, and his face turned ashen.
Scarlett burst into laughter and poured a cup of water for him.
The atmosphere was not that tense because of Alexander.
Larry frowned, looked at Raymond and said, "Mr. Shaw, I think that you understand my meaning."
Raymond said, "Mr. Tank, I understand your meaning, but I won't give up perusing after Scarlett unless she marries someone else and has children."
'Even if she marries someone else, I won't give up.' 'If she marries someone else, she can get a divorce. I won't give up unless she has children with someone else.'
When Scarlett heard that, she was drinking soup. She was choked and coughed.
She knew that Raymond was shameless, but she didn't know that he was so shameless. He even could say so in front of Larry.
Larry sneered, "It has nothing to do with Scarlett."
Then he glanced at Scarlett and softened his tone, "Are you full?"
Scarlett said, "I'm full."
They had eaten for a while before Yvonne came in.
She looked at Larry's plate and knew that he was still hungry. She wanted to say something, but Larry stood up and said," Now that you're full, let's go."
Scarlett glanced at Raymond and knew that Larry was reluctant to see her stay with Raymond.
She picked up a napkin and wiped her mouth. She smiled at Raymond and walked out of the private room with Larry.
She said, "Larry."
Larry slowed down and said, "Are you unhappy?"
She said, "No, not at all. I know that you do that for me."
"
Larry looked at her for a while and said," Alright, grandfather and I all know what has happened between you and him. We know many outstanding young men who are not inferior to Raymond. After you know them, you may not feel that Raymond is as excellent as you think."
Scarlett felt embarrassed and said, "Larry, I have loved him for many years."
Hearing that, Larry fell into a trance. Someone told him that before.
Scarlett didn't know what Larry was thinking. He looked unhappy. She compressed her lips and changed the topic, "Are you still hungry? I know a good restaurant. Would you like to go there with me?" Larry came to his senses, looked at Scarlett and nodded, "OK."
Scarlett paid the bill and walked out of Clear Waters.
