Raymond left quickly this time. If not for the phone call from Larry, he wouldn't have been able to control himself.

Fortunately, Larry's call stopped him in time.

Raymond didn't leave immediately after getting into the car. He saw the room on the third floor was lit up. Having sat for a while, he drove away.

When Scarlett got up the next day, Peyton replied to her message.

He was distant and just said "okay".

Scarlett raised her eyebrows. She thought that Peyton was an interesting man.

The movie started at 10.00. Scarlett arrived at the cinema at around 9.30.

Peyton was already there. He was wearing a white shirt, white trousers, and glasses. He carried a backpack.

Scarlett saw him from afar. She felt that he looked the same as he did in the photo.

When she got closer to Peyton, Scarlett was stunned for a moment.

She had never seen such a beautiful man.

Peyton's features were delicate and handsome.

Scarlett came out of her trance and walked up to him. "Mr. Fitzpatrick."

"Please call me Peyton."

His voice was clear and mellow, like the tinkling of a mountain spring.

If Larry were not her cousin, Scarlett would suspect that there was something between Larry and Peyton and that Larry introduced Peyton to her to cover up his relationship with Peyton. "You know why Larry introduced me to you, right?"

Scarlett put it bluntly. She didn't want to mislead anyone that she had no interest in.

Peyton nodded. "Larry said you're single."

They were all adults. Larry's intention was obvious.

Scarlett smiled calmly. "Yes, I'm single, but I'm in love with someone."

She had loved Raymond for many years. She once forced herself to forget him, although it was painful. Yet finally, she failed.

Thinking of Raymond, Scarlett couldn't help lowering her head and curving her lips.

"Is that so? Maybe you should see if the man right behind you is the one you love."

Scarlett was surprised. She looked back and saw Raymond.

She raised her eyebrows and watched him stride over.

Raymond came up to Scarlett and took her hand. He then extended his other hand and introduced himself. "Hello, Mr. Fitzpatrick, I'm Scarlett's ex-husband and suitor, Raymond." "Scarlett and you are divorced. You haven't got back together yet."

Peyton adjusted his glasses. "Since Larry has introduced Scarlett to me, it means he doesn't like you."

Wise people usually spoke pungently.

Raymond felt his heart was pricked. His expression changed slightly. "Scarlett loves me."

"People's emotions always change."

Scarlett couldn't resist laughing. "Peyton, you are not here to see a movie with me, right?"

Raymond might not be aware of it, but Scarlett knew that Peyton had no feelings for her. He was indifferent when he spoke to her.

However, Peyton suddenly asked her to watch a movie together. She thought he did that for some purpose.

The conversations between smart people were smooth. Hearing Scarlett's question, Peyton no longer sneered at Raymond."

Larry said you can teach me to chase a woman."

"Are you in love with someone?"

"Yes."

Peyton admitted. "If you help me chase her, I can help you deal with Larry."

Scarlett raised her eyebrows, "Okay."

Seeing her agree readily, Peyton said, "The movie tickets are for you guys. Remember to tell Larry we've seen a movie when you get back."

"OK."

Without ceremony, Scarlett took the movie tickets from him.
