Outside, a girl stood with a determined look on her face. It was the same girl from the Imperial College team who had clashed with Brianna last time. Watching Flora and her friends laughing and chatting inside, Vivian's face twisted with anger. Flora had humiliated her on the field, and now she was throwing a victory party without a hint of guilt?

This time, Vivian wasn't going to let it slide. She was determined to make them pay. Taking a deep breath, she nudged the door open slightly and stepped away to make a call.

Inside, the private room was buzzing with energy as a group of guys had a blast. Flora leaned back in her chair, scrolling through her phone. Brianna looked at her, hesitating and fumbling for words before finally asking, "Flora, are you really engaged to Connor?"

"Yeah," Flora replied lazily.

Brianna's face tightened as she warned, "I'm just saying, don't get too attached."

"What do you mean?" Flora asked, confused.

"Flora, with your background, you're not cut out to be his future wife. Connor's mom, who's abroad, has already lined up a top debutante for him. I'm telling you this for your own good. You and Connor come from different worlds. Falling too deep will only hurt you," Brianna explained.

Just like her brother and Sister Aisha, still tangled in a painful relationship.

As Brianna finished speaking, Flora flipped her phone face down on the table. The cold light highlighted her brow, giving her an edge. She maintained her casual posture, indifferent and nonchalant, revealing nothing about her thoughts.

"You should listen to me and stay away from Connor. With your status, there will be plenty of great guys chasing after you," Brianna advised earnestly.

In her view, Flora's family background was lacking. Coming from a modest household in Cedarvale, despite Flora's talents, the high society ladies of Maple Grove would never accept her. "Brianna, do you even know..." Flora began, but was cut off by Ivan's voice. "It's getting late. We should head back, or we'll be locked out of the dorm."

He had drunk the least, being responsible for getting everyone home. The area was secluded, making it hard to hail a cab. Walking through the long alley ahead would lead to the bustling downtown area where it'd be easier to replace a ride.

But as they entered the alley, several figures appeared out of nowhere. The sound of metal pipes dragging on the ground was jarring and unsettling.

Seeing the group emerge so abruptly, Ivan's face turned pale. Maddox and the others instantly sobered up.

The newcomers, wielding metal pipes and dressed in simple white shirts and jeans, looked like students but with toned muscles and a formidable presence. They were clearly trained fighters. Vivian stepped forward with a menacing smile. "We meet again."

Realizing the situation, Brianna snapped, "Do you Imperial College people have any shame? Lost the match and now you're ambushing us?"

Ivan's face darkened as he understood Vivian was here for revenge. The opponents were skilled fighters and outnumbered them. With only a few on their side, including two girls, they stood little chance. Silently, Ivan put his hand in his pocket and pressed the emergency call button.

"You know exactly how you won the championship!" Vivian sneered. "Last time at the gym, you were lucky. But this time, no one's coming to save you. If you know what's good for you, kneel down and kowtow three times. Maybe then I'll consider letting you go."
