Seeing her also working on treatments, Mr. Atticus's eyes flickered with surprise. He hadn't expected this young lady to have any real skills. But it was clear she was just scratching the surface. Her technique was clumsy and unrefined, definitely a novice. And some of the points she chose to treat? Even he couldn't fathom why.

For her to detoxify like this would be nothing short of a miracle.

Mr. Atticus let out a soft, derisive snort, making no effort to hide his skepticism. He turned his focus back to his own patient, concentrating intently. With decades of experience in alternative medicine, he knew the body's key points like the back of his hand-he could hit them even with his eyes closed. However, he approached this detoxification with caution, uncertain of success, so he proceeded with the utmost

care.

Ten minutes later, he removed the needles and asked, "How do you feel now?"

There was a faint tension in his voice, barely noticeable.

"I..."

The man felt dizzy after the treatment, but upon hearing Mr. Atticus's question, he tapped his forehead, and his mind cleared a bit. He suddenly realized the itching and pain were gone! "I'm not itching anymore! I'm cured! I'm cured! Hahaha! I'm finally cured!"

His joyous declaration echoed across the entire square! The people waiting behind him erupted in collective excitement. Mr. Atticus truly lived up to his reputation! They finally had hope!

At that moment, they didn't care why Flora had asked Mr. Atticus to detoxify them; all they knew was that the toxin tormenting them for over a day was finally neutralized!

Mr. Atticus, feeling the adoring gazes of the crowd, straightened his back a bit more. He thought Flora was utterly foolish-wasn't this just boosting his popularity?

Colton and Lance watched him, almost bursting with frustration and anger. They wished they could give him a piece of their mind.

What's he so smug about?

Our Ms. Flora's medical skills are lightyears ahead of his!

They couldn't understand why Ms. Flora went through all this trouble. Wouldn't it be simpler to just confront Mr. Atticus directly, beat him until he couldn't stand? Why all this complexity? More importantly, what if Mr. Atticus really did cure them? Why give him such a grand opportunity to show off?

While that side buzzed with activity, Flora's area was somewhat quiet. Those treated by Flora showed no signs of improvement. They still felt itchy and in pain. They couldn't help but look enviously at the line forming at Mr. Atticus's side, their eyes filled with longing.

Flora remained calm, treating one person after another, telling them to rest aside before calling, "Next."

But no one came forward.

Flora looked up to see a man staring intently at Mr. Atticus's side, her gaze slightly darkening. The man, lost in thought, only reacted when Flora called him. Seeing Flora seemingly angry, he hurriedly sat down, extending his hand reluctantly.

With a "snap," Flora placed her knife back on the tray, leaning back in her chair with an imposing posture.

"Those who want to go over there, go now."

Hearing this, those who were already restless felt tempted. They didn't want to offend Flora, but they couldn't just not get treated, could they? Flora had already attempted to treat several people, all without effect. This proved that Flora couldn't detoxify them.

Whether Flora was speaking out of anger or not, some people, worried she might change her mind, hurriedly joined Mr. Atticus's line. Gradually, a few more followed.

From beginning to end, Flora watched, expressionless. In the end, the square was nearly empty, leaving behind only a few members from Club 257 and Empire Base, still afflicted.
