Connor instinctively reached out and caught the little girl. His heart was still racing erratically from the panic. He had been scared out of his mind just moments ago...

Flora hadn't been home for a while, and he couldn't shake the worry, so he checked the surveillance footage. He saw her being shoved into a Ferrari, and then recklessly speeding down the road! Flora looked up at him with a pitiful charm: "Connor, I almost got beaten up just now, I was so scared."

Seeing Connor's eyes fill with instant compassion, she quickly added, "But when I see you, I'm not afraid anymore. Connor will protect me!"

Moss and Beck exchanged glances: "..."

They couldn't bear to look...

You? Scared?

Ms. Flora, do you even believe what you're saying?

If Kruz heard what Flora said, he would feel the same as Moss and Beck.

Scared? You? With the way you were drifting that car, what were you scared of?

Upon seeing Connor, Kruz slunk down in his seat, sneakily trying to wiggle his way into the trunk, praying his brother hadn't seen him. Definitely not...

He had wanted to run, but with several layers of bodyguards outside, leaving would mean certain death!

As he was crawling in, "knock knock," the car door was tapped. He looked up to see a large face smiling at him through the window.

"Mr. Kruz, please get out of the car."

Kruz: "..

He wept bitterly!

Shallow Bay.

Flora sat on the sofa, comfortably eating grapes from a glass bowl. Kruz stood in the middle of the living room, proper as a schoolboy, hands behind his back, a red hairband dangling behind his head, looking absolutely miserable.

"Didn't I tell you not to race cars?"

And you dragged Flora into it. Do you not realize how dangerous that is?

Kruz hung his head, saying nothing.

"Connor, you don't like me racing cars either?" Flora saw that Connor was quite angry, thinking he despised racing, and couldn't help but tug at his sleeve, asking softly.

When facing Flora, the coldness in Connor's eyes faded, leaving only tenderness. He lifted his hand and gently touched her head.

"Whatever you do, I like it, but racing is very dangerous. You must be careful."

Flora was very satisfied with this answer, happily popping a grape into Connor's mouth.

A sulkily fed Kruz: "..."

Outraged!

His brother was being too unfair! Did he have to make the favoritism so obvious?

A glance from Connor, and Kruz immediately behaved. His half-brother whom he feared the most. And also respected the most.

He had been reckless all his life, and only Connor could tame him.

Connor placed his hands on his

knees, giving him a cold look, saying,

"I've asked Moss to book you a

ticket. You're returning to Lone

Island first thing tomorrow."

"I'm not going back!"

Did his brother have to be so heartless? He had only been here for a short while, and now he was being sent back! Seeing Connor's suddenly icy demeanor, Kruz felt a bit intimidated but still stubbornly met Connor's gaze.

He wouldn't go back! He was determined to resist!

Without another word, Connor said, "Moss, call Lone Island. Tell them to come pick him up themselves."
