Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life -
Chapter 685
Especially those folks in the alternative medicine department.
The doctors who watched Flora perform acupuncture last time went back and couldn't stop raving about her. They said she was young but had acupuncture skills that even surpassed their years of experience. Naturally, some were skeptical and wanted to see for themselves if Flora was really that impressive.
To top it all off, even the chief of the city hospital snuck over to replace Dr. Ray, hinting that he wanted to get into the operating room too.
Dr. Ray was so swamped that he barely had time to eat.
But there was no way so many people could all cram into the operating room.
So, Dr. Ray played it fair. He only took a few senior nurses to assist; just him and Flora were enough.
Even though they couldn't get into the room, the chief and the others didn't lose hope. They turned on the surveillance cameras and watched the whole thing unfold!
In a conference room that could seat a hundred, there wasn't a single empty chair. Some people were even standing, eyes glued to the projector screen.
The surgery kicked off promptly at three in the afternoon.
Everyone in the conference room craned their necks to see Flora appear in the operating room.
Flora was using a mix of Western and Eastern medical treatments. The surgery itself wasn't overly complicated, but there were some critical points that would determine whether Shawn's hand could fully
recover.
It was crucial-there was no room for error.
So, Flora decided to take the lead.
Although Dr. Ray was officially there to assist, he was really there to learn.
Flora's progress was lightning fast and her skills were extraordinary.
Her performance was even more impressive than her last surgery, leaving Dr. Ray in awe.
She had an incredible sense of judgment, something many young doctors lacked, and even many seasoned doctors couldn't match.
But she nailed it.
Dr. Ray watched Flora's seamless execution of acupuncture and surgical techniques, barely blinking.
Watching Flora perform a surgery was more educational than ten years of studying.
The conference room was filled with gasps and murmurs of amazement.
"That young lady's surgical precision is incredible! And she always takes the most innovative routes, surprising us every time!"
Some of her surgical entry points were so bold that a small mistake could have been disastrous.
They were all on the edge of their seats.
But Flora pulled it off.
Again and again, she shattered their expectations.
So... it could be done this way!
The surgery lasted an hour. Afterward, all the doctors walked out of the conference room looking completely satisfied.
A casual display of Flora's skill was enough to keep them learning for years!
With Flora around, the Austenberg medical team was bound to reach new heights globally!
...
After the surgery, Flora and Connor headed back to Shallow Bay.
"Flora! You look like you're in a good mood. I guess everything went well!" Kruz leaned over the second-floor railing, sticking his head out. He
spotted Connor standing by the net
floor-to-ceiling window making a call then hurried down to complain to Flora, "Flora, you're fine, but I'm in trouble!"
"Flora, please help me, I don't want.

He was feeling dizzy just from looking at the game screen.
He whined pitifully, but when he saw Connor approaching, he immediately straightened up.
Standing all proper and stiff.
Connor walked over to Flora,
speaking softly, "Flora, I have some
urgent matters to deal with and 1.7
might be back late. Should I drop you off at the Irving family now?"
"Go ahead with your work. If I need to go back, I'll manage on my own."
"Alright, call me if you need anything."
Connor seemed to really have something urgent, grabbing his jacket and hurrying out.
