Prison.

Gordjo and his henchman bring Krist into his car located a few meters from the prison. Once in the car, Krist sees Francis.

Francis: I told you that your life would change me.

Krist: I told you I don’t need your help. I will be released today.

Francis: you are free my brother.

The car starts and they leave.

Meanwhile, the prison was on fire. Isabelle was crying and wanted to come in but was stopped. The firefighters rush to put out the fire. The police and anti-drug squad agents enter. Paramedics were there to tend to the injured. There is no shortage of journalists either. The director comes out with his daughter and hands her over to the paramedics. He will then explain the situation to the heads of each unit. After that, Master Célestin joins him.

Célestin: Mr. Director, I have here a court decision which requires the immediate release of Mr. Krist.

Hector: I don’t know who is alive or who is dead, master, there have been too many dead and injured. I’m sorry. But if everything comes back to normal and he was lucky, then he will be released.

They arrive at his jet and they get inside. He gives Krist new clothes to change into. He headbutts him to knock him to the ground then he beats his two men and runs to get out but outside, Francis points a gun at him.

Francis: If I were you, I would cooperate. You will be more useful to your family alive than dead.

Gordjo’s men come to pick him up and bring him back to the plane. They make him sit down and Gordjo sits in front of him.

Gordjo: tell the pilot to take off. Nice head shot.

Krist: let me go back to my family, please Gordjo: we have a long flight ahead of us, you should rest.

The plane therefore takes off towards Mexico. Krist therefore goes very far from his family with no concrete memory of his wife, not even a photo of her.

Krist’s home.

Once home, Krist’s family cries again and again. Vincent returns from the morgue and joins them in pain. He begins to share the news with extended family, friends, acquaintances, etc. Isabelle was inconsolable. She was advised to calm down because of her condition but she couldn’t. Living far from your husband was still conceivable, but living without your husband is inconceivable.

Prison.

The fairly healthy inmates are sent back to their cells, the injured are taken care of and the dead evacuated. After Claire received treatment for her few injuries. Her father asks a police officer to take her home. The director walks away a little and calls Bruno.

Bruno: Mr. Hector, I hope you bring me some good news?

Hector: yes Mr. Gauthier. There was a riot at the prison and Krist didn’t make it out. Turn on the TV and you’ll replace out!

He hangs up. Bruno informs his wife and they go to Isabelle’s house to assist her.

Leon’s home.

Commander Léon is following what is happening at the prison on TV when he hears a knock at the door. He goes to open it and his heart skips a beat when he sees the people.

Leon: Delphine!

Delphine: good evening darling.

Léon: what surprise to see you here?

Delphine: I know; We’re going back home.

Gloria: Dad!

She falls into his arms.

Léon: how much you have grown my darling!

Gloria: you too, dad…

Léon: oh, I missed you.

He squeezes her again then he hugs his wife very tightly while his daughter enters.

Léon: I missed you, Delphine!

Delphine: I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have left. We got married for better and for worse but I couldn’t bear the worst, forgive me for leaving with our daughter my love.

Léon: shush, it’s nothing. The fact that you’re gone doesn’t matter anymore, what matters now is that you’re here.

He wipes her tears and k****s her on the lips. They then enter to join their daughter. He brings them a drink and goes to the kitchen to prepare food for them. They ask their daughter to leave them.

Delphine: I saw the news last night, what you did was really courageous!

Léon: Is that what pushed you to come back?

Delphine: there’s a bit of that. It made me wake up and realize how unfair I have been to you. You risked your life and your entire career to save our daughter and me, I took her away from you, I’m sorry darling.
