My Gentle Wife is a Real Divine Being CHAPTER 799
Chapter 799
Debra eyed Drake’s hand wrapped around her waist, her brow furrowing. Every instinct screamed at her to pull away, but she held back
“Are you dancing or juggling?”
“Cut the crap. Your turn to lead.”
“With pleasure,” Debra replied, taking the reins and steering them into a clumsy waltz.
As they finished, the room exploded in applause. In the corner, Yvonne seethed, her fists clenched so tightly that her knuckles turned white.
Debra extricated herself from Drake’s grasp. He excused himself and headed to the bathroom.
While no one was paying attention, Juan swooped in with a smirk. “Well, well, well, it didn’t take you long to replace a new lap to sit on. Marion must be kicking himself for tangling with my family over you.”
Debra rolled her eyes. “Spare me the drama, Juan. What do you want?”
She spotted Kale watching them from across the room, his gaze fixed and intense. She tried to shoo Juan away, but he stuck to her like a bad smell.
“Tomorrow, 8 PM. I’ll wait for you at the casino.”
“What?”
Before she could react, he positioned himself to block Kale’s view, making it look like they were sharing an intimate moment.
Drake returned from the restroom, his eyes scanning the crowd. “Where’s Debra? Socializing with business owners?”
“Over there,” Kale replied, nodding towards the cozy–looking pair.
Drake’s eyes narrowed. He marched over, roughly pulling Debra away. She was taken by surprise and stumbled.
Annoyed by the interruption, Juan sulked, “I was just talking with my ex. No need to be so rude, Mr. Lowe.”
“She’s my partner now,” Drake spat, dragging Debra towards the exit.
“Drake, stop.” Debra protested, her injured leg throbbing with each hurried’step.
But Drake was relentless, pulling her along like a ragdoll. Outside the hotel, Debra finally wrenched her hand free.

“What the hell, Drake? You told me to replace out Juan’s motives. How am I supposed to do that if you won’t let me talk to him?” she grumbled, rubbing her sore wrist.
Drake’s expression darkened. “I changed my mind. Do you think you can just bat your eyelashes and get him to sing? Get in the car; we’re leaving.”

Debra wanted to argue, but the words died in her throat. After all, even her life was at Drake’s mercy now. With a sigh; she climbed into the back seat.
As Kale started the car, Drake asked, “Did you meet everyone I introduced you to tonight?”
