“At least it's not raining anymore.”

I said as I sat on the sofa with Zion’s head on my lap. Brushing his soft hair with my fingers.

“Yeah, I’m pretty sure it would’ve made a lot of people upset if it had continued.”

I giggled, as I imagine Sara and Aïssatou's reaction if the event was cancelled.

“I’m going to drive to Sara and Sophia’s place, soon to get ready. She has my dress.”

Zion tilted his head up to meet my eyes. “You drove here?”

“Yeah”

“In the rain, you drove here in this rain?”

“Yes Zion, am I not supposed to,” I asked while crossing my arms.

“Naw it's cool. I’m just gonna kill Yeshua later. And I’ll drive you to their house, it's not safe.”

“Whatever, let's get ready to go right now then. It’ll take some time for me to get ready.”

“What are you wearing?” He asked curiously.

“Sara designed all of our dresses. She says it’s all a surprise.”

“Hmmm..”

“Why? What are you wearing?”

He gives me that boyish smile I love soo much. Lifts his head from my lap and whispers next to my ear “It's a surprise.” As he captures my lips and eliminates the space between us. I gasped unexpectedly.

“Zion the time.”

“You’ll make it.”

I moan, sliding my arms around his neck. His hands follow the curve of my body. He continued to kiss me as his hands slipped down to grab my ass in a domineering manner. Fuck me.

Releasing a string of soft moans “Zion.”

I want nothing more but to be with him, to have him inside me again. But I know if we continue, this won't be quick and I’ll be late.

“Babe”

“Hmmm.. I don't know which one I like better, you saying my name or this.”

Rolling my eyes “Let's go, I need to get some stuff from my car.”

“Just give me a second here, I can’t just get up and leave like you.”

Laughing as I watch him fix his noticeable erect dick.

——-

“Should I call Sara for directions?”

“Naw I know where the Smiths live.”

It didn’t take long for him to pull up to an elegantly large wrought iron gate. Zion pressed a few numbers at the intercom, and the gate opened revealing a vast space of land with beautifully built houses.

“How did you know the pin?”

“This is the Smiths residences, if you look further to your right over there that’s where Saul and Si’s parents live. Both of their fathers are related. They are also twins.”

“Twins as well?”

“Yup! For generations the Smiths family have been twins. Yeshua lives with Saul, so I’ve been here more than I can count.”

“I would have thought Yeshua would like to live at Moons Hill?”

“Naw, Yeshua moved in with Saul.”

We arrived at an all-white three-story house. Sara rushes to us in excitement. She pauses to give Zion her respect

“Hello, Alpha Zion.”

He nods as he gets out of the car.

“Azah! You came right on time. I've just finished with Aissatou. The makeup artist is now doing her makeup, come I have to get you fitted too.” She grabs my arms and pulls me towards the house.

“Wait.”

I ran to Zion and hugged him “Promise me you’ll be there.”

“What makes you think I won’t?”

“Just promise me.”

“I promise Azah.” He says as he lightly kisses me on the lips.

I look back one last time before going inside the house. Hoping that this wouldn’t be the last time seeing him.

Tonight the moon is like a ghostly-blue orb in the sky. Its beams spilled across the town like lines of glittering fire. It’s an alluring scene perfect for tonight’s event. Everyone wore expensive new dresses or suits, looking elegant and almost unrecognizable. There is a natural glow lighting into the building which held the main event.

Greetings were offered out along the Hollywood-style pathway, with a remarkably long blue carpet instead of red. Splendid shiny gold lights added a surplus amount of colour.

We all came out of the black limousine, Sara didn’t come to play when it came to designing our dresses. Every one of us had our unique style designed, a talented designer who was able to coordinate the colours, texture, and style to fit into our perfection. She’s hella creative.

I had worn a crystal-embellished dress with a cascading train. An eye-catching see-through finish. Styled with a thong that matched my exact skin tone to the touch. With stunning shoulder pieces. Sara designed this, paying tribute to her favourite British actress Audrey Hepburn’s dress in My Fair Lady.

Eyes in awe as we walked, every man's face that my eyes fell upon had their jaws hanging open. Their eyes were wide open, which trailed up and down my figure as I moved. Some women were jealous of what we were wearing, some scowling, others looking as if they’d gladly eat us up. I let a smile grace my lips as I felt a surge of confidence come over me to the movement of my hips swaying.

“That’s right girls!” Sara said confidently.

As we got closer the sweet melody drifted through the busy atmosphere that came from the ballroom. A collection of violinists, harp players and pianists were placed at the far end of the hall. A couple of men came to complement us. Sara and Aïssatou flirted confidently with them, giggling and making comments here and there. One man came forward to me. He is tall and broad with a thick head of hair, nice emerald eyes and a pleasant if not exactly breathtaking face. I could feel by his energy that he is an Alpha.

“Hello, beautiful, My name is Chris Silver.” He said as he took my hand and placed a gentle kiss.

Something wasn’t right about him, I didn’t feel comfortable.. I pulled my hand abruptly.

“Nice to meet you.” He said.

“Aren’t you going to tell me your name?”

NO. We didn’t owe him anything.

“No. Now if you would excuse me.”

I left with Sophia while Sara and Aïssatou followed behind. Entering the ballroom the music changed, the music grew louder and people began to dance. The place is booming, everyone feels the rhythm of the music and the story it tells. Filling my senses and found myself swaying a bit with the sound. Everyone danced more erotically as the song grew in intensity. Women bent forward, wiggling their backside in the air, while men grinded on them from behind.

Men with men, women with women, men with women, all gyrated against each other relentlessly, some kissing passionately, some laughing, and some clicking the champagne glasses together. The music thundered throughout the night, no fucks were given together. Many celebrate by sending silent prayers to the Moon Goddess and Goddess of Fate to bring forth their true mate sooner than later. Something urged me to look up, memorized by the sight of him once again. We could be in a room full of people and my eyes always meet his. Just to replace that he had already been looking down at me. I felt my heart begin to race. Our eyes were locked on each other.

His hair is slick up in a man bun showing his handsome face that would stop you in your tracks. He is like the Goldilocks of attractive men, just with sepia, reddish-brown skin that reminds you of a gleaming stone. He wore a simple yet elegant black dress shirt and black pants with a statement coat complete with a metallic, embroidered detailing. His towering build and muscular body filled the coat just nicely. The depth of his eyes welcomed me home. I felt high as if my soul was reaching out for his, and he and I had a final meeting. As if we travelled the world just to meet again.

The clock strikes midnight. The music had already stopped playing. You can now hear the word “MATE” or “MINE” echoing throughout the room. My nerves were completely and utterly shot.

We did not utter those words. .
