Sir, You Don't Know Your Wife Chapter 555

Despite Lynette's thoughts, she reluctantly returned to the classroom.

Sure enough, several people crowded around her as soon as she stepped through the door. Carmen smiled and flatteringly asked, "Lynette, what did Mr. Goldstein say?" "Lynette, how did Mr. Goldstein handle this matter?"

"Sigh. I'm sure Mr. Goldstein didn't even dare to say a word! After all, her uncle is a former lecturer at our university! I'm sure Mr. Goldstein will be respectful of her uncle's wishes!"

"That's right. Besides, Lynette's father is Ronald Shields. He is a bigshot in Sandfort City. I'm sure Mr. Goldstein didn't even dare to say a word of dissent!"

In response, Lynette pouted. She couldn't talk about her pain!

Seeing that, Carmen simply thought that Lynette couldn't be bothered to explain. Thus, she hooked her arm around Lynette's and continued trying to butter up to her. "Janet got what she deserves, right? How dare she go against you? Does she think she's amazing just because she is the top scorer of the college entrance exams?"

"Yeah. Janet has annoyed me for a long time now. Isn't she just a little prettier?"

"Ever since she appeared, all the guys in our school have been posting pictures of her on the school forum all day long! It's as if they took a love potion or something!"

"Yeah; that's why I couldn't get a boyfriend!

"I hope the school expels Janet, lest she continues to harm the other guys!"

Carmen nodded in agreement. "Anyway, how did your father and your uncle punish Janet-"

Contrary to everybody's expectations, Carmen was still in the middle of her sentence when Lynette shook off her arm. Then, Lynette walked over to her desk and started packing up.

As a result, everybody dumbfoundedly stared at Lynette, feeling shocked.

"Why are you packing up your stuff, Lynette? Are you dropping out of school?"

"No way! Why isn't Janet the one leaving instead?!"

"Didn't your father and your uncle come to support you?"

"Did you voluntarily drop out of school? Or, were you expelled by Mr. Goldstein?"

Lynette felt her temper flaring when she became everybody's topic of conversation. Thus, she furiously snapped, "Shut up!"

Carmen shuddered slightly, staggered backward, and kept her mouth shut! From the looks of it, Lynette is undoubtedly being forced to leave!

Lynette haphazardly packed up all her things before aggressively walking out of the classroom. This bunch of gossip mongers! All they do is gossip! The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. At the same time, she was too humiliated to continue staying there and started running out as soon as the thought crossed her mind.

One had to go through the field to get to the school gate, and the field was filled with students coming and going at this time of day. When they saw Lynette with her stuff in her hand, they couldn't help laughing and talking about it.

"Hey! Isn't that Lynette?!"

"Yeah, that's Lynette! Why does she look like she is going to leave the school?"

"Could she have been expelled?"

"No way. Didn't her father and her uncle come to support her? Are you telling me Mr. Goldstein didn't show due respect to Fass?"

"Nah. Janet probably refused to give in. Mr. Goldstein probably had no choice but to expel Lynette."

"That's strange. According to what you said, won't that mean that Janet has somebody stronger than the Shields Family backing her up?"

"Tsk! How is that possible? I heard from the performing arts school that Janet came from the countryside. She couldn't possibly have such a powerful background!"

The students' voices were not loud, and they were standing quite far away. Even so, Lynette heard their conversation clearly. Gritting her teeth, she ran to the school entrance. She finally couldn't hold it in anymore when she saw Layla. Throwing herself in her mother's arms, she wept. "Mom, you have to help me get my revenge!"

When Layla saw her daughter like that, she felt her heart hurting. "Don't worry, Nettie. We will definitely bring about her ruin!"
