Goodbye, My Ex... -
Chapter 10 I Was In Love When I Made Love To You, While You Are Not
The interior space of the car was quite closed. Even if Rosemary Johnson didn't open the speaker, the conversation between her and Jack Lewis was word by word transmitted to Charles Hockley's ears. The low yet hot lingering words made his face sink heavily.
Charles started to shift gears and stepped on the gas pedal, and suddenly the speed was raised. The sudden speed-up startled Rosemary.
She turned her head, and saw Charles lit a cigarette with one hand. The expression on his face was dim, uncertain of what he was thinking at the moment.
"Jack, I'll talk to you when I get home." Rosemary hung up quickly and held on to the car handle.
She was most afraid of Charles when he was driving, especially when speechlessly.
There was a dead silence in the car. It was so quiet that even the sound of a needle dropping in the carriage could be heard clearly.
Unsure of how long it took, the carriage sounded the man's icy voice.
"Rosemary, do you know how long you have been away?"
Rosemary was quiet.
After a long awkwardness, she replied, "Seven years."
"2555 days and four hours!"
Charles added to her reply, thin lips spit out a circle of smoke. The smoke spread around the carriage, into Rosemary's nose, letting her choke.
Charles glanced at her coldly, "Did Jack Lewis finally stabilize in S City and you decided to come back?"
"How long I left and why I came back seems to have nothing to do with you, Mr. Hockley!"
Rosemary began to frown. She didn't like his sharp and sarcastic words as before. When he spoke, there was something provocative about it always. "Have noting, to do, with, me?" Charles repeated word by word.
He seems to have heard some funny words. With the cool and pleasant voice, the back of his hand holding the steering wheel, the blue veins were emerging.
He stepped on the brake force fiercely, Rosemary did not have time to guard against it, and her whole body was habitually forward with inertia.
When she almost swoop onto the front glass window, a big hand pulled her back. Rosemary hit the back seat heavily.
With a cry of pain, Rosemary heard the sharp and hurtful voices seemingly coming from the distant sky:
"Rosemary, do you know how I want to strangle you when I see your face again?"
Because of her, countless days and nights, he spent with his heart, painful extremely!
"... I didn't know that..."
Rosemary suddenly gave up the struggle and dropped her eyes.
"But...I was happy to leave you..."
Listening to the hurtful remarks, Charles was frustrated and angry. His anger poured out of him in an instant. He held out his hands, and suddenly pulled Rosemary's small body, bent his head and kissed her hard.
"Charles! You let go..."
The broken voice overflowed Rosemary's desperate lips. She pushed his strong chest with her slender hands, trying to stop his revenge.
But Charles pressed her hard, not to
give her a chance to struggle. He went on with his retaliatory behaviors by forcefully sucking her lips. The palm of his hand, with a thin Cocoon, went through her thin dress into inside warmth.
It made Rosemary shudder and her body tensed up in an instant.
His strength was tough, making Rosemary feel like being violated.
She thought of her wedding night seven years ago. Then She started to cry silently, and more and more violently, and her tears stained Charles's face.
"Charles, do you want to...rape me again?"
Because of her words, the originally fierce kiss suddenly became soft.
Charles's breath became heavier.
He stopped fumbling around her body, his face gloomy, staring at her, emphasizing every single phrase, "I raped you?"
"Didn't you?" She looked into his
eyes and her eyes were full of tears,
"When had you ever consider my
feeling and take care of my wishes?
Every time you asked me to doût,
wasn't it forcing?" Including, the time
she was pregnant with Ryan.
Charles heard the accusation and made a cold hum.
If she didn't say it out loud now, he didn't know that every time she made love to him on their bed, she was forced? He only remembered every time he was in love.
At this time, Charles did not have the heat just now, and his whole manner sent out a chilly breaths.
"Get out of the car!"
Suddenly he spoke, with voices sounding as cold as spitting ice.
