Hearts On Fire -
Chapter 30:
Azar: “Are you okay?”
Amaya: “I feel weird. Azar, what’s wrong?”
Azar: “I have no clue. Something's going on.”
In Amaya’s head: All of a sudden, Azar looked exhausted. I could tell he was struggling to even stand and keep his eyes open. It scared me to death. Neither of us knew what was going on. Then it appeared like a ball of fire radiating off him hit me straight to my chest. The pain was excruciating. I wanted to scream but nothing could come out. It was all unreal. If it didn't hurt so much, I’d be sure it was all a dream but the pain…it was too real. Fire coursing through my veins instead of blood. I couldn't even move. Then it felt like eternity to me until it was all gone and the fire consumed me completely.
In Azar’s head: I was helpless as I watched what was in front of me. Amaya was in pain and I couldn't do anything to help her. I couldn't speak, I couldn't move. Never in my life have I felt this week. Like someone is draining the energy out of me. Then I realized. There's no other explanation. It's Amaya!!
Azar: “Amaya?! (Azar faints)”
Amaya: “NO!! (Amaya’s eyes go from red to blue and Amaya runs - in the woods)”
In Amaya’s head: I had no idea where I was heading nor why but it looked like my mind did and it led me…I was not myself anymore. That’s all I knew. (in the basement)
Nash: “Finally. You scared me, it took you too long but it doesn't matter. You're here.”
Marian: “Hello, sister.”
Maria: “Welcome home.”
In Amaya’s head: You see…this is destiny. No matter what you do, no matter how hard you try to fight it, no matter how hard you try to change it'll always lead you to only one path that you have. There's no escape. I just wish I knew mine but that wouldn't change anything either way. With my body stronger than ever but mine and a haze…how did I get here? I'm home.
