Franklin dragged Emily into the bathroom, locked the door, took off hisclothes, and opened the showerhead.

Emily turned her back in fear and bit her lower lips nervously.

Franklin curled his lips, "Do you know what I'm going to do?"

"Of course.”

"Well, not bad. You seem to be a little more clever. You're right,”Franklin said with a smile. He cupped her cheeks and then lowered hishead to kiss her passionately.

Emily struggled but she was definitely not that strong as Franklin.

But she thought of her baby. She became awakened and pushed himaway, "Don’t forget I'm pregnant.”

The words were like a bucket of ice water, which instantly poured overFranklin's heart and cooled him down.

He clenched his fists and released Emily, but his blood was about toburn at the time. However, reason still prevailed, letting him know thathe could do nothing now.

"Take a shower!" Franklin sighed and turned back under theshowerhead, turning the water cooler.

Emily curled her lips and couldn't hold her good mood as she looked athis sullen face.

It was already an hour after they had taken a shower.

Emily put on the clothes that Jason had prepared for her which seemedto be made of very good materials. She couldn't help feeling grateful.They had dinner at a nearby hotel. During the meal, Mr. Martinez keptteasing them and saying that he would give them a big gift when theygot married.

Franklin was in a good mood with a cheerful look.

Emily whispered in his ear, "I'm going to the washroom.”

Franklin nodded and said gently, "Be careful. Should I go with you?"Emily glared at him. He was telling such a big joke. They were not thatkind of close friends who would go to the washroom together.

Harry watched Emily leave and after a while, he excused himself fromgoing to the bathroom and went out too.

Emily came out of the bathroom just in time to meet Harry.

"Mr. Carter," Emily nodded at him and was ready to go back.Unexpectedly, Harry stopped her and said, "Miss Johnson, can I have aminute?"

"Me?" Emily was surprised. She then smiled and said, "Mr. Carter and Idon't seem to have anything to talk about!”

"Why not? If it weren't for Miss Johnson, Franklin would have been mybrother-in-law," Harry snorted coldly.

Emily was getting more and more surprised. No wonder Harry's lookhad always been bad and he always looked at her strangely. It turnedout to be this reason.

"Miss Johnson, let's talk somewhere else! It's not nice to chat at theentrance of the restroom,” Harry said.

Emily thought for a while, then she nodded and followed Harry.Although she had no wild thoughts about Franklin, she was still curiousabout him. If she could learn more about him, she might avoid sometroubles in the future.

"Sit down please, Miss Johnson!" Harry took her to a secluded loungein the lobby and asked the waiter to bring them a pot of good tea.However, Emily did not dare to drink tea since she was pregnant. Shejust thanked him for his kindness.

Harry looked at Emily and sighed, "I really didn't expect Franklin to betogether with Miss Johnson. In fact, my sister will be back in twoweeks."

"Is your sister Franklin's childhood sweetheart?" Emily asked in surprise.Harry's face suddenly frozen. He said, "They did know each other at avery young age. Franklin and I are classmates and our families are closefriends, too. Ivy loved Franklin since she was very young and marryinghim was her dream since childhood."

They are indeed childhood sweethearts.

Emily was very ashamed. If not for that night, she wouldn't have gottentangled up with Franklin, let alone having a baby.

There were only two weeks before Miss Carter went back to China, butFranklin had already married someone else. No one would know howsad she would be.

"I'm sorry about this," Emily said shamefully, "I don't know how toexplain the relationship between Franklin and me... But don't worry.When Miss Carter comes back, if Franklin wants to break up with me, Iwill agree immediately. It will never affect his relationship with MissCarter."

"Miss Johnson tells such a good joke. After all the hard work to getFranklin to be with you, are you willing to let go so easily?" Harry feltthat she was simply joking or that she was deliberately fooling him."Of course, I'm willing to let go. This is my deal with Franklin,” Emilysaid immediately.

Harry frowned and looked at her with his deep-set eyes. After a while,he asked, "Do you have any agreement with Franklin? Why did he dothat with you?"

Emily bit her lips nervously. It was better not to let anyone know abouther pregnancy or it would cause trouble to both Franklin and her.After thinking for a while, she could only say, "This is an agreementbetween Franklin and me. But Mr. Carter, please don't worry. I promisedit will not affect the relationship between Miss Carter and Franklin.When he needs me to make way for Miss Cater, I will immediately dothat."
