Her Revenge Contract -
Chapter 70
Katherine's POV
I was lying in bed, looking at the two contracts I had been handed earlier.
In terms of financial data and profit sharing, I had gone through the data over and over again the way Sophia taught me earlier, yet I couldn't replace any issues with the contracts.
My mind wandered off, replaying our perfect little date in the forest.
When those small words left my lips, Xavier became a different man.
He knew what I meant and took me in his arms.
We made love there on the forest floor, with a waterfall sounding close by.
My p*ssy clenched as my mind reminded me how his fingers moved my panties away and sought my bud, how his lips moved around my nape, and how his canines brushed my marking spot. I wanted him to mark me. I wanted him to sink his canines into me as he pumped his seed inside me.
I couldn't even describe how fast he got rid of my panties or how fast he had his c*ck inside me. All I remember is that his rock-hard c*ck gave me pleasure I can't describe.
He made me come over and over again; I just couldn't get enough of him. He became a drug for me and my being.
Xavier filled my p*ssy with his seeds, making sure he emptied his supplies inside of me over and over again.
"F*ck me again," I whispered to Xavier out of breath. "I want to feel your c*ck inside of me."
Xavier's eyes had darkened even more, and his eyes displayed the same need as mine.
He grabbed my hands and pinned them above my head.
"You are so beautiful under the moonlight," he whispered against my nape, "and your p*ssy is already soaked and tender after all we did." "Just do me one more time," I begged. "Ride me like there is no tomorrow."
Xavier chuckled, amused.
"Very well, kitten," he said, and he pinched my nipple.
I moaned out of pleasure, feeling my p*ssy clench and drip.
He let go of me and pulled me to my feet, then lifted me and carried me to the water.
"Xavier?"
"It's alright," he said. "I will not let go of you."
The crystal-clear water was warm around our skin, yet even warmer with Xavier holding me.
Xavier turned me around in the water and made me lay against a rock and spread my legs.
"I want to mark you," he whispered against my ear.
I wanted him to mark me too, but I knew this wasn't the time.
Before I could reply, Xavier was inside me, making me moan out of pure bliss.
"Oh, Alpha Xavier..."
"Did you replace where the problem is?" Xavier's voice suddenly sounded at the door as he entered and handed me a cup of hot chocolate.
My face fluttered red upon seeing him, and Xavier lifted his nose to the air, taking a whiff.
"Seems like someone didn't have enough sex earlier?" He teased, "Are you daydreaming of me while you are supposed to be working?"
"I-1-1," I stuttered nervously because of being caught red-handed, but Xavier cut me off and took a seat on the bed next to me, smiling like a Cheshire cat.
His gaze was full of love, and he pulled his hand tenderly over the side of my face.
I lay in his hand, soaking up his warmth.
"So?" He asked and smiled, "Did you replace the problem?"
"No," I answered seriously, sitting upright. "I have gone through the contract many times but couldn't replace a problem. However, there are several hidden clauses, and the meanings of those are unclear to me."
I have highlighted my issues and shown them to Xavier one by one.
Like a student who didn't understand the contents of the work, I waited for Xavier to play teacher and explain the contents to me.
I felt a bit nervous, but I was also excited to know if I was on the right track.
Xavier read through the contents and lifted his gaze. I could read wonder and warmth in them.
"You surely learn quickly," he said, smiling. "Yes, there are no errors made in the contracts, but there are two clauses that are actual traps. You should pay careful attention when you come across them in future contracts." Xavier gestures at the terms and conditions of the contract.
"Although this clause seems reasonable, the clause ignores one main point, that is, Black Umbrella is the contractor and leading party, and King Group is only the subcontractor party, but this clause says that King Group has to compensate for any problems. Although this is normal with the terms of the contract, the settlement should not be made by King Group but by Black Umbrella. If you don't have this clause, once the contract is signed, it is easy to hold King Group responsible for any losses."
I nodded in understanding and made a note in my diary.
"And this... oh, I have to say, John is really clever. Where he uses literal wording to confuse people," Xavier said, chuckling.
I froze with the diary in my hand and looked at Xavier, confused.
"Do you understand the clause?" I asked, and Xavier suddenly turned to me, and I swallowed hard when our eyes met.
"Do you understand?" I asked again, dropping my gaze.
Xavier nodded.
"If that is all and you have nothing more to do, I suggest you get some rest. You will be going to work tomorrow, and I will be sending someone to represent us."
I nodded, and Xavier took his leave.
The next morning, a representative from Black Umbrella was already inside the building, and an office was assigned to him. I met him waiting patiently for my arrival in my small reception area.
"Did Mr. Black send you?" I asked, seeing him sitting and glaring at Amanda.
"Yes," he answered, "I will be representing Black Umbrella."
He nodded and followed me to my office. The man closed the door behind us and turned toward me.
"Luna, you still need to be very careful," he said. "John hasn't given up yet. He wants you to arouse public anger."
"Huh?" I gasped, confused.
Everything looked peaceful around me; I even got a few smiles and hellos this morning.
"What are you talking about?" I asked, bewildered.
"When I walked in this morning announcing my arrival, the CFO was the first one who came to greet me," he said. "I believe the CFO is part of John's scams. He has been turning a blind eye to whatever John is doing." "What is your point?" I asked and took a seat at my table.
"You see, we just signed a common cooperation agreement with your company. It shows the importance of cooperation with the Black Umbrella, and second, let everyone exercise their attitude toward you.
Alpha Xavier took great care of your image in the company when he allocated the profit share and bonuses to the employees."
"And John doesn't like that? Do you think that is the reason?"
The representative of Black Umbrella was a business manager named Steven. He was very observant. So far, he has hit the nail on the head with everything he says. Xavier asked him to do the handover and help me screen the people around her. My gaze moved over the employees in the office area, and I couldn't see anything out of place.
It seems that John will have to continue to be wary.
We continued to work on the contract, and when the terms of the contract were slightly revised, John showed up.
"Kate, hi, how is the contract signing going?" John asked.
I decided to discuss the changes in the contract just to see John's expression.
John's face changed from shock to cold to red. He surely didn't expect me to make changes to the contract, and he grabbed the contract from my hands and threw it to the side, angrily.
"Kate!" He roared, furious, "You have gone too far!"
