Chapter 15 Like a bomb!

Elle walked to where their car was parked nearby and she found Damien waiting for her impatiently. Heimmediately ran towards her when he saw her.

"Where have you been?" He asked and she sighed.

"I had to wait and watch everything. I made sure that the police seized the illegal drugs and alsoarrested those worthless men of his.." She explained and Damien smiled.

He pulled her into a hug immediately.

"We finally achieved one of our missions and it feels really great to do so.

"Congrats, Elle.." He told her and she smiled also and wrapped her hands around him.

Governor's House.

Master's Bedroom.

"No, no, no. This can't be happening!" James yelled and then he scattered things up and down.

"Hunny, calm down. It's not your fault. It's not your fault that it happened. It just happened that way.."Lauren tried calming her husband down but James was not ready to listen to anyone at the moment.

"It's not my fault but all this. It's ruined. It's ruined!" He yelled again.

"I just lost 10 billion dollars.." James mumbled and fell on the bed.

His phone rang and he answered the call, still depressed.

"Boss.." A male voice called.

"Boss, it's me Jordan. I escaped.."

"Jordam?"

"What happened to the drugs and why was mr Chang and Felix arrested? Everything had always beengoing on well, what happened this time around?" James asked.

"We had no idea. Somebody just came. She has good fighting skills, she made sure to kill half of ourhenchmen and before we knew it, the police arrived and arrested all of them. I just managed toescape.." He explained and James sighed.

"A lady came and disrupted the transaction.." He thought.

"Jordan, you need to do something for me and it's really important.." James said.

"Get rid of Mr Chang and Mr Felix immediately. They will rat me out if I don't.." James said.

"Consider it done, boss…" He said and James hung up with an emotionless look on his face.

"I swear, I'll replace you. Who ever you are and why you destroyed my mission, that I don't care but I'll replaceyou and put an end to you soon.." He muttered and clenched his fists tightly.

Lauren walked into Tyson's room and she found him on his phone.

"Don't tell me you are still chatting with girls at this odd hour?" Lauren asked and Tyson scoffed.

"What else do I have to do again?"

"I have nothing to do .." He said.

"That's why your father will never see you as something useful. You have to be useful to your dad soyou can have a huge chance of inheriting the property.."

"But mum, I'm not interested. I'm not interested in running Dad's company or any of his businesses andI'm also not interested in running for politics.. " Tyson said and Lauren sighed again.

"Why do I give birth to useless son like you who can't even use his head for once?"

"Even your sister Bora that just went back to Australia is doing great over there. She's at leastmanaging spars over there but what do you want to do? I wanna know?" Lauren asked again.

"Nothing mum. After all, Dad has worked for us. Even if Jason inherits sixty five percent of Dad' sproperties, Deborah and I will earn the remaining forty five percent. It's not bad, is it?" Tyson answeredwith a light smile on his lips but then Lauren knocked him on the head.

"Your thinking is so bad. You have a poor mentality. Do you want Jason to get more richer and leaveyou in the mud. Without your dad's help, he built an empire for himself. He's a well known businessman and CEO of one of the best companies in the world. Hasn't he achieved enough but what aboutyou? What have you achieved?"

"Nothing. No one knows you except those foolish friends that stick around you for your money, by thetime your money is gone. They will be long gone.."

"But mum.."

"And also you like Elle, right?" Lauren asked and Tyson smiled.

"Does she like you?" Lauren asked.

"Why do you ask that mum?" Tyson replied.

"Answer my question, does she like you?" Lauren asked again.

Tyson huffed.

"I don't know.."

"And how would you know that.." Lauren cut in.

"She can never like you because you are too low for her standards. She would rather like someone likeJason, handsome and wealthy. You just have the looks, and the governor's son title and nothingmore.."

"You have to be somewhere that she is worthy of. You have to be her man.." Lauren said and therewas a glint finally of eagerness in Tyson's eyes. Lauren smirked.

That's exactly what she wants.

"I'm ready mum. I'm ready to do all what you ask me to.."

"Good, now first thing tomorrow morning, go to your dad and tell of your interest in company before hepasses it over to Jason. I'm sure he will be so happy.." Lauren smiled and Tyson nodded.

She hugged her son happily.

"I'm glad that you are taking my advice son. Just watch I'll eliminate any enemies on your way to yoursuccess.." Lauren said.

"Once you get introduced into the company and you perform well. I'm sure James will introduce you tohis secret business - our secret business. Then your future is secured. I no longer have to get worried

about that stupid son of his, inheriting what he has left. Even if I have to get rid of Jason for you, I'll doso gladly, just like the way I got rid of his unborn baby and the lady he loved dearly.." Lauren thoughtand smirked evily.

The next day.

James came out of his room, dressed already for work today. He smiled when he remembered that anhuge event would be taking place. Elle would be finally investing in their company and they are going tobe signing the deal.

James smiled again when he remembered how many billions of money Elle would bring to hiscompany.

"Dad!" A voice called and James turned back.

He was surprised to see Tyson dressed in a suit.

"Why are you dressed like this, Tyson?" He asked.

Tyson moved closer to him and smiled.

"I'm ready to work for the company dad. I know you need my skills. But I was occupied with my childishplays, but I gave it a thought and realised that i should really be helping you.."

"That's good." James nodded with a smile.

"And dad, I'm ready to take that position you offered to Jason which he refused. I know I can handlethem well. You can trust me dad.." Tyson smiled and James sighed as the lines in his foreheaddeepened.

He placed his hand on Tyson's shoulders.

"I'm sorry Tyson but Jason already accepted it. We finalised it yesterday. Jason is the new CEO of thecompany!

It came like a bomb to Tyson.
