When Abigail was living in the Swifts, she never caused trouble or made excessive demands.

Apart from divorcing Liam without permission two years ago and leaving without saying goodbye, she never did anything wrong.

But the better she behaved, the more distant she was to them.

Because Abigail never bothered the Swifts.

During the meal, Abigail kept praising Susan for her cooking, and she looked the same as before.Only Jacob knew that she was suffering alone.

"Where do you live now?" Stephen suddenly looked at Abigail and asked.

"Tina helped me replace an apartment. So I temporarily live there.”

"Since you're back, move back," Stephen said.

Speaking of this, Abigail was stunned. Then she continued, "Maybe after a while. Liam doesn't knowit yet. I don't want to implicate the Swift Group because of this.”

"What are you talking about? You're a member of the Swifts.” Jacob said seriously. He feltuncomfortable with Abigail's estrangement from the Swifts.

Besides, he couldn't bear to see Abigail like this.

They had grown up together. But after she suddenly chose to study design, he found that he didn'tunderstand Abigail at all.

Hearing Jacob, Abigail said with a smile, "Right because I am a member of the Swifts, I shouldprotect the Swift Group." Abigail picked up the food and put it in Jacob's bowl. "Have a Try."Seeing Abigail like this, Jacob had no choice but to stop persuading her.

"Even if you don't come back, you have to visit us often.” Laura looked at her and said.

"Of course!" Abigail smiled and made a salute, which made them all laugh.

They had an enjoyable meal.

"Abigail, it's getting late. I'm going to see you off!" Jacob said to Abigail as he picked up his coatand put it on.

"I'm good, Jacob. I'll just take a taxi.”

"Give your brother a chance.” Laura said, "It's so late now. If you go back alone, your father and I willbe worried."

Abigail nodded. "Okay, thank you!"

"All right, let's go," Jacob said.

Abigail smiled and reached out to hug Laura, saying. "Mom, I'll visit you another day."

"OK, remember what you said." Laura enjoined her.

"I will." Abigail smiled and looked at Stephen. "Dad, I'm leaving."

Stephen nodded.

Abigail and Jacob went outside and got in the car. Jacob was driving, and Abigail was sitting besidehim, resting against her back.

At this moment, Jacob turned to look at her, saying, "Why do I feel like you're in a war?"

"Really? I'm just tired these days!" Abigail said.

Jacob did not pursue the issue but looked at her. "Why don't you tell it to Mom and Dad?"
