Sitting at his desk, Liam gave an official reply to the contracts. His black shirt made him look moremature and attractive.

When Abigail knocked on the door and went in, he was signing a contract. After finishing, he closedthe document and then looked up at her.

"Mr. Jones." Looking at Liam, Abigail announced herself.

"Are you planning to resign?” Liam took a glance at her and asked.

"Yes!" Abigail said calmly.

"Why? Give me a reason.” Liam said.

Hearing this, Abigail frowned.

'A reason?"

On the first day, she came across his "good thing" and made him unhappy. On the same day, theyhad a bad time in the restaurant. Weren't these all reasons?

But why did Liam act like nothing was wrong?

Did he really not care about those things?

She heard that when Liam was in the LK Group, someone was fired just because he accidentally saidsomething Liam didn’t like to hear. Now...

Abigail was a little confused about him. She couldn't see through his tricks.

Abigail stood there with a calm expression on her face. "Mr. Jones, you are joking. A powerful grouplike the Powerline Group can recruit anyone as long as it wants. As for me, I'm sorry, there are somepersonal affairs that need to be dealt with. So, I have to quit.”

"I knew that Miss Swift just came back from abroad. I don't think that you have some “personalaffairs’ to deal with.” Liam emphasized the words personal affairs.

"I don't think a boss would care so much about a subordinate's business.”

"Miss Swift, is this an excuse? That so-called personal affair.” Liam asked.

Should he be described as sharp or unreasonable?

"Mr. Jones, is this related to my resignation?” Abigail looked at Liam and asked.

Hearing this, Liam sat up straight. "Of course, it is." As he spoke, he picked up a document from thedesk and opened it.

"Miss Swift, before you entered the company, you signed a contract with us for two years. If youresign during the two years because of your personal reasons, you will have to pay for the breach ofcontract!”

Hearing this, Abigail suddenly realized.
