Hiding With Her Twin Babies
Chapter 27

Dante gets the children alone while Enzo and Jennie are still talking about Rosemary. He walks with them to the back of the plane as he needs their help and wants them to be part of his proposal to their mother in the Maldives. He quickly tells them about their holiday and keeps them quiet, so Jennie does not hear how excited they are. None of them has ever been to an island before, and when they hear their father wants to propose, they are even more excited. They want their father to propose to their mother. The four of them are putting their heads together to think of a romantic way to propose to her. Finally, they all agree they will meet in the kitchen tomorrow morning, and each one of them will tell them their plan.

“You are not going to go to my office and bother Rose. I will arrange a party and invite her, and you and you can see it is your Rose, but only after the holidays. You can wait a few days, Enzo,” Jennie says as the rest take their seats as they are about to land in LA.

“Fine, but it better be her!” Enzo says. He looks unhappy, but he knows Jennie and Dante will not take his nonsense and kick his a*s if he does not listen.

The children and Dante know Jennie will go to work tomorrow to ensure everything is okay at her new office before spending the rest of the school holiday with them. Jennie is a hard worker, but her children are always number one in her life. Enzo walks to his car as the plane lands, and they all get out and greet the happy family, excited about going to their new home. He is still not sure if this Rosemary is the love of his life, and he wants to know, but he will wait. Maybe waiting would make him more appreciative of the woman he fell in love with. Look at his brother, Dante, it took him eight years to replace Jennie, and everyone can see how much he loves Jennie. Enzo smiles. He knows Jennie, and he is sure if she says it is Rose, it is his Rose.

Jennie and the children can not wait to see their new home. Dante did not even want to show them the house pictures to surprise them. His mansion is enormous, and he knows the children will love the pool and the playground. So he asked his secretary to arrange for someone to put up a playground for the children, and their rooms are full of the latest technologies, like X-boxes, PlayStations, PCs, tablets and phones. They each have a desk where they can study, and each room has a theme he knows they love. Jayda’s room looks like a princess’ castle, Jayden’s room looks like Batman’s cave, and Jack’s room looks like a dinosaur world. He got it all done while waiting for the children’s holidays to start.

As they walk into the house, the children are excited as the household staff waits for them. The team can not wait to meet the new Donna and the children. They heard all about them from the guards, and they could not wait to have children in the big mansion. The butler and the head of the household take the children to their rooms. Jayda is in her element when she sees her room. She wants to put on her princess dresses and play in her room all day. There are a lot of dolls and a whole collection of Disney princesses.

Jayden walks into his room and is excited to see his Batman cave. Unlike the other superheroes, he loves Batman and Ironman as they use gadgets to fight bad guys. He loves the Batman costume and is also excited to see an Ironman costume. His bed looks like a batmobile, and he can not believe all the gadgets he has. He looks at the new technology and smiles. He wonders what Jack’s room looks like, as he loves dinosaurs. Jack walks into his room. His little heart beats fast as he sees his dinosaur world. He always dreams about a room like this. He got his own PlayStation, X-box, PC and phone. He is not the broken little boy that lived in the dumps anymore. He can not believe how his short life changed in such a short time. He loves his new parents and his brother and sister. Jayden comes walking into Jack’s room.

“Wow, it looks amazing. Come let me show you mine,” Jayden says as he takes his little brother by the hand and drags him to his room. They all got the same, and Jack did not expect to get what his brother and sister got as he felt he did not deserve it. After all, he is not Jennie and Dante’s natural child, but when he sees his room is as spacious and luxurious as Jayden’s room, he feels at home. He now knows that Dante and Jennie love him as much as the twins. The two boys start playing with their toys, and soon they start playing games and linking to the internet as partners in a game. Jayda joins soon, and the three of them are unbeatable on a new game that was just released. The older people playing the game are having a hard time killing or winning the three. The three children do not realize they are playing Jennie’s new game, and they enjoy it so much that they do not hear their parents calling them to come and eat.

“I bet they are too busy playing. Let’s send their food upstairs,” Dante says.

“You are spoiling them rotten,” Jennie says with a smile.

“Oh, wait until you see what I have planned for you, love,” Dante says with a smile.

“Hmm, you spoil the children and me, and you better be there for the rest of our lives,” Jennie says as she k****s Dante. Dante pulls her onto his lap and k****s her neck. Then they go to the dining room to eat. The butler took the children their food to their rooms as they talked, with each other, on headsets and hardly heard him.

The following day, after Jennie leaves for work, Dante and the three children sit in the kitchen, trying to come up with an idea for the proposal.

“I saw a great idea on the internet, dad. Why don’t we take family photos, and when you propose to mom, we can capture the moment on camera. We will have to arrange with the photographer first, though,” Jayden says.

“How about we all have dinner in a restaurant together and you propose to her there,” Jack says.

“No, I got a better idea. Why don’t we all get t-shirts? Jayden will appear at the place you want to ask mom to marry you first with one saying “Will” and then Jack with one saying “You”, and then I will appear with one saying “Marry” and lastly, dad appears on one knee, saying” ME?” Jayda says. Dante smiles at the children’s ideas, and he loves all of them. He loves Jayda’s idea. He thinks it is cute, and Jennie will appreciate it as all the children will be involved and not only him asking her to marry him.

“Well, I love Jayda’s idea. It will include all of you, and I think your mother will think it is cute, and she will be happy that all of you are included. What do you guys think?” Dante says.

“Jayda’s plan is the best, I agree. I know mom will love it,” Jayden says, and Jack nods. He agrees as well.

“Well, it would not be the most romantic way to ask a woman to marry you, but knowing mom, she will love it. We can still hire a photographer and let him capture the moment, so we can all share it in the future with our other family and afterwards we can go to a romantic dinner as a family. So all three of your ideas are great,” Dante says.

“Well, dad, have you bought the ring yet?” Jayda asks. Dante takes a ring out of his pocket and shows it to the children. They can only stare at the beautiful ring in Dante’s hand.

“It belonged to my great-grandmother, and she left it for me, so I want to give it to an exceptional woman in my life. The only woman I will give it to is your mother,” Dante says.

“We love you for loving mommy and all of us so much, daddy,” Jayda says, and Dante hugs all three of them.

Dante and Jennie have a lot to do before they leave for their holiday. The house staff are crazy about their new Donna and the children. Jennie is soft-spoken and hardly interferes with their jobs. The children are well mannered and always say thank you and please. The children also steal the hearts of everyone in the house soon, and when Logan and Jen move back to LA, the staff is happy to see them again. When Jennie and Dante go to work, Jen and Logan look after the children.

Jennie is sitting in her office. They fly somewhere tomorrow, but Dante refuses to tell her where and why. He only told her to pack a swimsuit and summer clothing, which was all she would need. Dante is very secretive about their holiday. As she is sitting in her office, Enzo walks in. Jennie sighs. She knows he is not there to talk to her or see her.

“Hello, Enzo, I told you not to come to my office,” Jennie says.

“Wow, hello, can a brother-in-law not visit his sister-in-law?” Enzo asks.

“I am not married to Dante, and I know you are not here to see me. However, your curiosity brought you here as you want to know if Rosemary is your Rose. So you might as well admit it,” Jennie says.

“Hmm, you know the Casellas too well. Yes, please let me see her. I need to know! I am going crazy. If it is not her, I have to start looking elsewhere. Please, Jennie,” Enzo begs Jennie. Jennie feels sorry for Enzo, and she knows her heart is too soft, but he looks so lost, and she knows Enzo is in love.

“It is almost lunchtime, and you can go with me to the staff’s cafeteria. I will invite Rosemary to sit with us if that will please you,” Jennie says. She is unsure how Rosemary will feel about Enzo walking into her life again, and she wants to see the girl’s reaction.

At one, the two of them walk down to the cafeteria, and soon Jennie sees Rosemary walking in. She sees Enzo’s face lit up as he sees her, and she sees Rose stop in her tracks as she sees Enzo. The two of them are staring at each other, and it is clear to Jennie that there is love in the air.

“Rosemary, please join us. I want to introduce you to Enzo. He can be a pain in the a*s, but he is not a bad guy once you get to know him,” Jennie says. She is smiling at Rosemary and ignoring Enzo, kicking her leg hard.

“I am not a pain in the a*s. I am a gentleman. Jennie likes to joke around with me,” Enzo says. Rose smiles and joins them at their table. Enzo goes to fetch them food, and he picks all the best for Rose, himself and Jennie. He is a bit mad at Jennie for teasing him, but he is grateful that she gave him back his Rose.

“Thank you. How did you know I love pasta?” Rose says as Enzo puts the food in front of her.

“You always recommended pasta dishes at Charlie’s Place,” Enzo says. Jennie takes her food and excuses herself to leave the two love birds alone. She goes to her office to eat.

“Did we do anything wrong? Why did Jennie leave?” Rose asks, concerned.

“No, we did nothing wrong. I think she just wanted to give us time to talk alone. I was so sad when I got to Charlie’s Place and could not replace you anywhere,” Enzo says.

“Why? The other waitresses were better than I was,” Rose says, and she looks at Enzo, confused.

“Yeah, but none of them stole my heart, darling,” Enzo says as he takes a mouthful of pasta. Rose is stunned. Did he just tell her indirectly that he loves her?

“Well, I missed you as well,” Is all Rose could think to say. They eat and talk, and Enzo asks her out on a date for the night, and Enzo tells Rose to bring her little sister along. Rose could not believe what had happened. Her heart beats warm inside her. Maybe all one’s dreams can come true after all.
