"Let's head out," Casper said, hands in his pockets, strolling casually.

David didn't rush to check the contract. Instead, he poured himself a glass of red wine and started chatting with Eliza about old times. She listened with one ear while her mind wandered.

He was in great spirits, slowly getting a bit tipsy. "David, you really should take a look at this contract," Eliza urged, worried that he might sign it without thinking-Casper would definitely give her an earful if things went south.

David grabbed the contract, didn't even glance at it, and signed his name. Across the room, Faithe watched him fawning over Eliza and snickered. "If I'd known he was this easy, I would've thrown in a few more clauses favoring Welton International."

After he signed, David handed the contract and pen back to Eliza. As she reached for it, the pen slipped from her fingers and dropped to the floor. She bent down to pick it up, but David gently stopped her. "I got it."

As he bent to retrieve the pen, he noticed her untied shoelaces. Without thinking, he knelt down to tie them. Eliza was caught off guard and tried to pull her foot away, but his firm grip held her still. "Hold still. Your shoelaces are untied."

He knelt before her, his actions tender and considerate. Casper's eyes cut through the crowd, landing on Eliza's white sneakers. David's long, elegant fingers, made for art, moved gracefully over the laces, creating a harmonious scene. Jealousy surged in Casper's chest as he downed his glass of wine in one gulp.

Feeling embarrassed, Eliza quickly knelt down. "David, I can tie them myself."

"It's done," he said, finishing a perfect bow.

"David, I'll take this contract to Mr. Casper. Why don't you chill here for a bit?"

"I'll wait for you."

Eliza went to replace Casper but handed the contract to Faithe instead. As she turned around, Casper grabbed her wrist and pulled her into the nearest restroom.

"What are you doing?" Eliza

struggled to leave, but Casper lifted her by the waist and set her on the countertop. His white shirt sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, and a few buttons of his collar were undone. His eyes, dark with anger and glossy from the alcohol, bore into her.

He framed her with his arms, trapping her. "Mrs. Welton, quite the charmer, aren't you?"

"Wasn't it you who told me to be this charming? If you're going to mock me every time, maybe you shouldn't call me over."

He chuckled softly, the alcohol

making him uncomfortable, especially with Eliza squirming around. "Stop moving, or I'll..." His voice heavy with desire. "We haven't done it here, have we?"

His alcohol-laced breath brushed her ear. "I know you want it too."

This was madness. So many guests were outside, and people were constantly using the restroom. And yet, he wanted to...

"I don't want to."

He laughed, lifting her down and turning her around. His strong body pressed against her back, her senses enveloped in the faint scent of alcohol as she felt his arousal. "Casper, can't you be a bit more rational?"

"I can't."

He breathed heavily, gripping her chin to force her into a kiss. One hand firmly around her waist, claiming her. A gentle breeze

Lnet

nudged the restroom door open slightly, just as David's gaze wandered over...
