His Destructive, Toxic Love -
Chapter 178
He raised his hand high, swinging it toward Eliza's face, but the slap never landed on Eliza's delicate cheek. Instead, it turned into a fist that slammed into the car window. His hand might have been wrecked if it weren't for the privacy film.
"Bang." The glass still cracked.
"Ah..." Eliza clutched her head in fear. She didn't want to provoke him.
Anyone with half a brain would know that she couldn't have done anything in those ten minutes she was inside Zach's studio, but he insisted on assuming the worst.
"Explain yourself," he demanded, his voice hoarse with a hint of madness. "Speak."
Eliza chose silence. She had nothing to say.
He gripped the back of her head, his breath uneven on the tip of her nose. "Is it hard to explain? Are you planning to work with Zach and plot against me? Will you help him become the successor of Welton International? What did he promise you, huh?"
"Nothing."
"I want the truth." His large hand tightened on the back of her neck, causing her pain and making her brows knit together. "Casper, the 'truth' you want is just what you've concocted in your mind, none of which is the truth."
"Then what is the truth?"
Eliza couldn't possibly tell him the truth. "It's irrelevant to you."
"It seems like Mrs. Welton isn't interested in sharing her heart with her husband anymore. Maybe she'd prefer to share her body instead."
He forced her down beneath him, pressing his lips to hers. She didn't resist, letting him have his way.
His kiss was domineering and fierce, demanding a response as his hands gripped her slender waist tightly. She was breathless from his kisses.
The car was so cramped it made her feel uncomfortable having sex there.
The vehicle shook violently with his movements, a spectacle that, in broad daylight, was hard for anyone passing by not to let their imagination run wild.
Dillon and the driver didn't dare interrupt. They could only smoke one cigarette after another to pass the tedious time.
After what seemed like forever, the storm of passion passed.
Seeing the flush on Eliza's cheeks, Casper was very satisfied and reached for a tissue to clean himself up.
Eliza curled up into a small ball, her body trembling slightly.
"Need help with that?"
"No, don't." She shook her head, quickly tidying herself up and getting dressed. "Casper, I want to ask you something."
"You haven't even given me an explanation about you and Zach. What do you want to ask me?"
Eliza's eyelashes fluttered down gently. She knew he might not agree, but still...
"Casper, if my mom dies, please leave my mom's body intact, okay? Even if Nova can't replace a suitable match."
Her voice was filled with sorrow and
Casper felt a tug at his heart. "Without your signature, who would dare take organs from your mom? Use your common sense."
Eliza had that common sense, but when it came to what Casper wanted to do, who could stop him?
"Nova visited the hospital today. She
had a consent form for organ donation with my mom's name on
it." She looked at Casper's
handsome profile. "You ordered this, didn't you?"
Casper's brow furrowed. He had not agreed to this. Moreover, Nova hadn't mentioned it to him. After all, Rose had raised Nova for so many years. Even if she hated the Pinotti family, she wouldn't go that far...
"You think it was me?" he countered.
Eliza nodded firmly. "Yes."
"I don't have that much power."
Eliza believed Casper's power depended on whether he wanted to do something.
Nova was an actress and Casper was good at lying with his eyes wide open.
Neither could be trusted.
