I became conscious of my environment and my lashes fluttered to the night light of the day shooting through the window and I wondered how long I have been asleep. I let out a light m**n and twisted around in bed to replace Edward fast asleep behind me. His hair looked ruffled by the sheets and the snores he made were almost unheard, but I could still hear them and they were cute.

I couldn’t stay in bed all day. I had a few things to do. It was the full moon and everything had to be in place.

I pulled myself onto my elbow and I heard a growl from behind. “Leaving already?”

I guess he wasn’t as asleep as I thought.

“Staying in bed after spending the night together wasn’t part of our agreement was it?” I cocked a brow at him.

“Don’t go,” he growled.

“The sun is up. I know you could stay in bed all day and have people do things for you, but some of us do not have that luxury.” I rose to my feet, not failing to notice his lingering gaze on my every move. I did a quick stretch and picked up my clothes on the floor where I left them last night.

I needed a shower and maybe food. Then we can go on another round of mind steering f*****g before carrying on with the day. If he wanted to swing that way.

“What’s got you so amused?” he asked and I turned to replace his gaze still on me.

“Nothing.” I couldn’t tell him I was hoping for another round of s*x to start the day. Not yet.

“It doesn’t look like nothing to me.” He pulled himself up to sit down and I noticed the back ink drawing covering his shoulders down to the wrist of both hands.

How did I not notice this last night? I guess I was too lost in the aura of his mindless f*****g that I failed to place my mind on anything else.

There seemed to be more to this man than met the eyes. I wanted to know more.

“You’re inked up on both arms.” I pointed out my observation.

He glanced down at my words as if he didn’t know what he had on his skin, and then he stared back up at me. “You have a problem with it?” He asked with an interesting narrowed eye.

I shook my head, “Not really, just haven’t met someone with inks covering their arms before.”

“Well, my back is covered with ink as well.” He pointed out and just when I thought he couldn’t surprise me anymore, he just did.

“Why do you have so many?”

For someone who hadn’t lost a response since he brought himself into my parlour and life, he was thinking of the reply to give me. “I’m a wizard, mistress. Sometimes I push the boundaries,” he simply said, folding his arms over his chest.

I didn’t understand what he meant, but I didn’t want to press harder. It wasn’t in my place to ask, despite my curiosity. It was noble of him to have responded to the question because I saw how uncomfortable he felt.

“You’re a weird one, prince Edward.”

He grinned. “I’m happy to be your first weird one.”

I rolled my eyes at his ability to get cocky, even in a situation like this. Then I made my way into the bathroom to bathe.

I stepped into the bathtub, which already had fresh flowing water, and I settled in it. The warm water made me sigh in comfort and I relaxed, shutting my eyes.

“Can I join in?” My lashes fluttered, and I saw the prince standing beside the door in his nakedness. I took him in from head down to his growing hotness and I swallowed.

He was just too good to say no to, and I grinned, already knowing where this was going but not complaining.

“Yes.”

Within a few minutes, he had my hands locked behind while I rode him from the top in the bathtub. There was a huge probability that I’ll not walk properly during tonight’s shift and I was prepared to risk it.

All thanks to him.

“I’m close.” I whimpered, rising and falling on his length while he met me halfway and guided me with his right hand on my h**s. He thrust himself into me harder, hitting the spot that made me see stars while leaning in to k**s my shoulders down my back.

A few more thrusts and I was coming all over his length. He released my aching hands and moved to massage them while I relaxed against him to regain my lost energy.

After bathing, we returned to the bedroom and while I pick out an outfit from the wardrobe, Edward moved to pick up his clothes from where he left them on the floor.

My eyes lingered on him as got ready and I noticed his back down to his waist was also inked up just like his arms. He hinted that he always pushed the boundaries and a part of me wanted to know what those boundaries were, but the other part warned me to stay in my lane. This isn’t that type of agreement we made. We weren’t lovers; we weren’t even friends, and so inquiries into his life were out of the picture.

I moved my eyes away and focused on getting ready. A new day has started, and I needed to get along with it.

I put on my clothes the black lacy veil covering my shoulders before turning around to the prince, who was also dressing up.

Whatever he saw he liked, and he showed in his eyes.

He was still in the black long woollen jacket he wore last night, but he still looked gorgeous and yummy.

Damn, he will be the death of me.

He stepped toward me, taking my lips between his for a soft k**s that sends shivers down my spine. We have kissed a few times since last night, but this felt different and it made me nervous from the inside out. I was never nervous.

I melted against him, a reaction I didn’t want to have, but couldn’t stop as he deepened the k**s.

He pulled away and placed his head against mine. “I can’t keep us here, but I want to.” His hand moved down to squeeze my butt.

I gasped and pulled away from him. “Then don’t. I bet you have so much to do today and Dyan won’t be happy if he replaces out you stayed here instead.” I pointed out. I still remembered his friend from seven years ago and though I hadn’t seen him since the past month, I knew he was somewhere. He seemed like the reasonable one amongst the two, with Edward being the reckless one.

The smile on Edward’s face died off, and I knew then I had crossed a line I shouldn’t.

“He won’t be.” He answered in a suddenly unfriendly tone and headed to the door. “I’d like to have a word with the workers of the parlour regarding my position here.” He opened the door and stepped out, and I followed.

It was still the early hours of the morning and a majority of the workers would still be here, about to move out and on with their days.

“What do you want to tell them?” I asked, a little sceptical as I fell in line with him.

“That I own this place and that they answer to me now.”
