We were all having breakfast together as a family when I noticed the air suddenly change, I could sense something powerful and I knew right there and then that Ceros was here he was near.

“What’s the wrong cupcake.?” Zane asked.

“I sense him the war is about to start he is here..” I said slightly panicked. Everyone got up from there sits Zane and Aaron calling for an emergency pack meeting.

“How long till he gets here?” Dad asked me.

” Judging by the way the atmosphere is changing in less than an hour..” I said as we all walked out to the hall where we usually had our meetings. All of us went and stood on the stage as we watched the pack members walk in with worried faces. Murmurs filled the room and we all stood more like they stood while I and Bloom sat down waiting for the entire pack to gather. After they had all gathered–

“Greetings everyone..” Zane’s voice boomed silencing everyone, “As you all know we have been preparing for a war for the past two months now. I wanted to inform you all that the war will start in less than thirty minutes..”

“So you all have been given ten minutes to say goodbye to your loved ones and once the ten minutes are done–” Aaron added, I and Brook got up from our sits going to stand next to our mates.

“All the women and kids who won’t fight will have to follow me and Beta Female Brooks to the safe house..” I said.

“While all the warriors will take their positions. You are all dismissed..” Zane added the last part everyone began dispersing looking for their loved ones among the crowd. I watches as my mates said goodbye to each other. Soon many of these people won’t be here and—

“cupcake..” Zane hugged me as tight as he can while of course making sure he wasn’t squishing my baby bump.

“I love you okay and stay safe..” He added looking into my eyes.

“I should be the one telling you that Zane please be safe I love you a lot..” I said. He pulled me into a k**s small passionate k**s. He pulled away hugging me for dear life until after a few minutes I pulled away

“He’s here..” I said. I wasn’t panicking. I knew that once this war starts I will have to be the Luna Queen I was destiny to be. A confident one who Is the strength of the pack.

“I love you and see you..” I said we hugged each other one last time then we both went our separate ways.

Bloom BeBe and Juanita were on my side as we gathered all the women and children leading them to the safe house.

The skies began to darken (not too dark that you can’t

see) and a loud thunderous growl echoed while only a few kids and women had entered the safe house.

Murmurs began to echoes as the remaining women began to panic.

“Calmed down everyone..” I said aloud and they all stilled.

“Don’t panic, you all will be safe. We are here, now make two lines with kids and women separate and start heading inside..” I said they nodded their heads did as told and they began going in.

“Aaaah!!! it’s a dragon..” I heard a kid yell and soon everyone was practically running inside the safe house.

I looked up to see a giant dragon with brownish dark skin and silver eyes. Dad! that’s the first thought that came into my mind.

Another growl erupted and soon it breathed fire but luckily I acted fast enough forming an invisible shield around me and the women while they ran inside.

The dragon I mean my Dad kept on breathing fire at us and I was slowly losing my strength but I was adamant about keeping the shield up until every single woman and kid was safe inside.

The group that was with Mom, Dad, Uncle, and Aunt began to shot poisoned arrows but a loud growl echoed causing an earthquake. It was so intense that I lost concentration and ended up losing my balance, I was about to fall face flat on the ground but someone held me.

I looked to see it was a very handsome godlike man with red hair and silver eyes just like mine.

“Are you okay?” he asked worry marrying his face as he helped me get back on my feet then started looking me over to see if I was hurt. That’s when I remembered I wasn’t concentrating on the shield.

I looked up and the dragon was there breathing fire but somehow there was a shield and a lady with dark hair was helping the women into the safe house, I looked around and could see everyone fighting but no one holding up the shield

“Who is?” I couldn’t even finish my sentence as the man who just helped me pointed to the red-haired man who was fighting off weird-looking creatures.

“He is the one who formed it..”

” Ohh..” I managed to say

“are you okay? please tell me you are okay..” the man frantically asked, “Is the baby okay? do you feel any pain? How many fingers am I holding? two? three? one scarlet please tell me if you are okay..”

“Who are you?” I asked wondering how he knew my name and why he was so worried.

“Well, I will introduce myself later come on let’s get you to safety..” He said leading me to the safe house.

“Take care okay be safe..” he said once I was inside then closed the door while I looked on wondering who he was.

I shrugged it off going over to the big hall.

the safe house was a very huge underground house that could hold over one thousand people. It was built in such a way that even if there was a massive earthquake it would never crumble.

It had three separate rooms ( with two double beds and a bathroom each), five bathrooms, and a huge kitchen.

the main hall was filled up with over five hundred single beds luckily our pack had about 1500 members and only less than five hundred of those( defenseless pregnant women, kids, and elderly men and women who couldn’t fight inclusive) were in the safe house.

I could feel panics all around me as some kids and women were crying. Brook looked tired and in pain, Juanita and shaira were trying so hard to calm them down. Bebe was trying to calm Zara’s kids whilst holding Aaron junior who was also crying.

“Everyone calm down..” I said out loud.

“Luna! are we going to be okay? Is this place safe enough? What if that dragon worms its way here?” I heard different panicked voices giving me a headache.

“Calm down..” I said again and they stopped talking, “This place is safe the dragon won’t be able to come in here. You are all safe. You need to relax and stay calm–“

“Aah..” a scream stopped me mid-sentence my eyes snapping towards Bloom.

“Bloom are you okay?” I ask

“It’s the baby she’s coming..” she said panting like she just ran two miles.

“What? now? but it’s too early..” I said slightly panicking. Okay, wait it’s not time to panic! think.

“Uh BeBe, Juanita take her to one of the rooms..” I said they nodded their heads helping her.

“Shaira take care of them..” I said pointing to Zara’s kids and Aaron junior.

” Is there anyone here who knows how to deliver a baby?” I asked the crowd.

“I do Luna..” an elderly lady said she looked to be maybe about in her late fifties.

“What’s your name ma’am..” I asked.

“My name is Sarah Luna..” she said slightly bowing.

“Thank you please come forward..” she came over and I led her to the room.

Bloom was screaming in pain as she lay on one of the beds.

“Please get me some water and a cloth..” Sara ma’am said Juanita nodded leaving the room. Bebe was wiping away the sweat that was trickling down Bloom’s forehead.

” Luna I mean Scarlet..” I heard Shaira’s voice I turned to see her.

“Please come you are needed.. “

” Okay, I will be there..” I looked at Bloom who looked to be even in more pain.

“Go I will take care of her..” BeBe said I looked at Bloom one more time then left I hope she will be okay.

I went back to the hall and all the women looked to be in deep distress.

“Calm down everyone everything will be okay..” I said aloud but it wasn’t helping as others were crying probably felt the connection with one of their family members break which only meant that they died.

“Hey, everything will be okay..” I said reassuringly to a woman who sat on one of the beds in the hallway.

She nodded her head wiping away her tears.

After doing it to like I don’t know how many women and kids I felt tired.

“Angel..” I heard BeBe’s voice I looked over to see her running towards me.

“Angel it’s Brook she’s dying Angel Brook is dying..”

“What!?” I asked in Shock.”What do you mean by dying? what happened to her.?”

we both went over to the room. she was laying there breathing heavily.

It’s been over 4 hours now and she still hasn’t given birth I don’t even know if the war is over or not.

“I will just mindlink Aaron..” BeBe said tears falling from her eyes.

“No..” I stopped her as I went over to Bloom, “If you tell him, he will be worried and end up coming here which will only lead the enemy here..” I said to her.

“Bloom..” I said wiping away her sweat.

“I can’t do it, Angel it hurts I can’t..” she said her voice barely above a whisper.

” No Bloom you can do it you will be okay. What’s wrong with her?” I asked Sara, ma’am

“She doesn’t have enough strength to push out the baby I am afraid if this continues we will lose both of them..” she said slightly bowing.

No, I can’t let the baby die I can’t let Bloom die either.

I looked down at my baby bump.

“What are you thinking what are you going to do?” BeBe asked wiping her tears.

“I am going to save her..” I said my hand still on my baby bump.

“Please tell me you are not going to do anything stupid that will endanger your baby and yourself..”

“I can’t let her die BeBe it will crush Aaron and what about Aaron junior I can’t let him grow without a mother..”

“What will you do?” she asked.

“I will take away her weakness and give her my strength..”

“Angel you look tired you don’t even have any strength to give..”

“But I have just enough to help her..” I said.

“Luna she is getting worse..” Sara ma’am said. In only seconds I was by Bloom’s side channeling all my energy to her

“You are going to be okay..” I said giving her all the strength I had left. I only stopped when I saw her look much better while I was barely able to even stand Juanita was quickly by my side holding me.

“Will you be able to do it now.?” I asked feeling weak and lightheaded. feeling drained.

“Yes!” Bloom said her voice coming out with power. I smiled as I felt like jelly barely able to stand or even lift my hand. Juanita led me to the other bed helping me lay down.

“Okay, you have to give me one big push..” I heard Sara ma’am say. And after a few minutes, crying filled the room and I smiled knowing that the baby is safe.

“Brook..” I heard Aaron’s voice I slightly opened my eyes to see Mom and a man sitting near the bed.

“Mom is that you..” I said my voice barely audible.

“Get some rest baby you will be better in no time..” was the last thing I heard and I was pulled into a dreamless sleep.
