Well, the rest of the dinner went surprisingly well..my Uncle and Asher came in and seemed not to have any visible injuries, and the wink Asher gave me made me relax instantly.

So my uncle was okay with it all..that is a relief..maybe this whole thing with Lacey has softened him more than I realized. I have a feeling she is going to fit right in with the family too. She definitely doesn't let my Uncle get away with his usual crap and I had to stifle a laugh for most of the evening.

My Uncle and I did end up talking and he said he was happy for me, we might've cried a little too but he promised me not to tell anyone. But I just felt so damn happy, this was all going as great as it could.

After dinner, we tried to play a few card games but it just ended up becoming a huge competition between the guys..

Even my dad was getting into it..it was only freaking uno..

I swear Asher almost flipped the table at one point as my uncle pointed and laughed at him. Then Asher mumbled something about looking pretty and Jack shot him the deadliest glare I had ever seen. I almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard. He ended up chasing Asher around the room and eventually gave up after Asher hid behind me like a little kid. I have never laughed so much in my life.

Even Scott was losing his shit when Carson threw his cards at Asher and went to grab another beer. Oh, did I forget to mention that they all ended up drunk by the end of it too?

So here I am, driving Asher's jeep home as he sits in the passenger seat singing to the Backstreet Boys..

"You know, I think your uncle secretly loves me." He slurred, making me smile as I stopped at a red light.

He was such a happy drunk too..I couldn't stop smiling like an idiot. "I love you." I exclaimed happily, making him smile in return as he glanced back into the seat.

"What's that box full of stuff? Is there any food in there?" He asked curiously, making me laugh again as I shrugged. My dad said it was some stuff I left at the house. I think it's a couple of books or something. The light finally turned green and I began driving forward as Asher unbuckled his seat belt and began rummaging through the box.

"Want me to stop and get you a burger?" I asked, glancing over briefly as he sat back into the seat and had a couple of items in his hands. It was too dark to see what but I just kept driving. "Let's just order out when we get home..I have plans to eat something else first." He said so nonchalantly that I almost didn't catch it. My cheeks flamed, and I couldn't help but gasp. "Asher! How can you say stuff like that so naturally?" I chided before turning on the blinker and taking a right.

Suddenly Asher went quiet and I glanced over as he looked like he was reading something. He quickly flicked on the passenger side light and kept staring down.

That's when I saw it and my heart stopped..how the hell did he get that?! I tried to reach my hand over, wanting to yank the contents from his hands as embarrassment flooded through me.

"Asher don't read that!!" I shouted, seeing my journal in his hands as I knew exactly what was in it..my teenage fantasies of Asher.

This was a new level of embarrassment that I didn't know existed..I mean..I know I married the guy but that stuff was cringe worthy and I needed to end this now!

"Asher please!" I whined out, making him pull it closer to the window as he flipped the page over.

"Five kids, do you still want five?" He suddenly asked making me pull to the side of the road and stop the car. I ripped off my seat belt off and practically lunged into Asher's lap, trying to rip my journal from his hands. "Stop, I'm reading Emery." He said in a serious tone, making me groan.

"Baby please...it's so embarrassing." I felt like I could cry... I should've burned that journal a long time ago.

Asher finally pulled his eyes from my journal, obviously hearing the desperation in my voice as he looked at me.

"Don't feel embarrassed baby..this..this is the most beautiful thing I have ever read.." He confessed, making me blink my eyes in confusion as he suddenly slid the seat all the way back and pulled me on top of him before wrapping his arms around my waist... "Did you really feel this way about me? That I was the only one for you no matter what?" He asked, making me bite my lip nervously as I nodded my head...I wrote so much in those journals about Asher..how I wanted to cheer for him at every game. How I wanted to make him laugh or see him smile..truly smile.

"I have always loved you, I told you that." I admitted, making him search my eyes as my heart began to swell.

"I know, I just had to hear you say it again.." He smiled, making me roll my eyes, and the next thing I knew Asher crashed into me... his lips fusing to mine as he kissed me with such passion and love it felt like our first kiss all over again.

"Five kids huh? I think we can make that happen." Asher teased as he smiled against me before continuing to kiss me all across my face and jaw.

"Let's see how one goes first." I breathed, making him chuckle deeply as his hands began to roam my body.

"You were always the one for me too Emery..I don't have a journal about all my dreams and wishes..but it doesn't mean I didn't think of them too. I imagine four kids, but five will do." He whispered and I swear my soul began to hum with such happiness and love..just hearing him admit that was enough to make me take control as I showed Asher just how much that meant to me.

I kissed and sucked down his neck, making my way to his chest as I made sure to grab the journal and toss it into the back, causing Asher to chuckle.

Then I dragged my hands down, my eyes darting up and meeting Asher's silver gaze as he swallowed hard.

"I was always yours Asher, every inch of me belongs to you." I said in a seductive tone, causing him to groan as I slid my finger across his jeans, unbuttoning them quickly before reaching my hand in and gripping his rock-hard c**k.
