His White Luna
Chapter 6 - Taking out the Trash

Alice Forrest

I closed the large doors behind me, leaning against them as I breathed in for the first time in too long. His scent was driving me wild, my wolf was ready to pounce on his, she wanted to tear out the throat of the random blonde who had her lips wrapped around his cock minutes ago.

We still had very different opinions on matters, and I wondered how long it would take for us to become more harmonious, or would it forever be like this? Because I’d spent too long in the human world, too long without shifting, without connecting myself to the other half of my life.

After regaining the strength in my legs, I thought it best if I went and found Jamie, I hadn’t dared to ask, “what now?” to Nathaniel, it felt too dangerous, as if given the opportunity he would command me to never leave his side.

Yet waiting at the top of the stairs, was the blonde. Staring daggers at me as I left Nathaniel’s chambers. I was adamant on ignoring what ever crap she would throw at me, I had no doubt that she was trying to sleep her way into his life, to gain power, luxury, money, the Luna position. She had clearly not been in this pack very long.

“Keep moving bitch, this is my territory,” she hissed as I walked past, a couple steps down the stairs already.

I stopped and made eye contact with Jamie who was seated next to the front door, his eyes sparkling with amusement, and he crossed his arms, his grin broadening the longer I looked at him.

“Is she for real?” I asked, gesturing at her over my shoulder.

Jamie let out a hideous cackle as he began to laugh, a smile splitting over my own face.

“Are you for real?” I asked, turning to face the woman.

Her eyes scanned my face, as if she was suddenly doubting what she had said, “did you really just threaten me?” I asked in disbelief. “She threatened me,” I repeated to Jamie, who continued to laugh, now clutching his side as he struggled to stay seated in his chair as the fits of laughter rolled off him.

“Wow, you pups sure are plucky,” I scoffed, continuing to walk down the stairs.

“Who do you think you are? He’s mine,” she said, suddenly snapping out of her daze.

“Why don’t you go ask Alpha Black, little shrew,” I mocked, throwing a mock sad look at her over my shoulder. “That’s if he lets you back in his bedchambers,” I said with a wink.

“I should have taken a photograph of her face,” Jamie cackled to Grace.

Grace rubbed Jamie’s arm lovingly, smiling at him as he still recovered from the fits of laughter, “Gina has been here for about two months,” Grace said turning from her mate as he rubbed tears out of his eyes. “A month longer than me, but she worked very quickly in positioning her between the Alpha’s legs,” she said, these words spoken with more hesitation and quietly.

“There is no need to my shy about it Grace, I left him, we broke up – if you will. He can fuck who ever he wants, if that’s what he wants,” I sighed, stirring my lemonade with a straw.

She smiled weakly and looked down at her own drink, “she’s not very nice, but very pretty,” grace sighed, tugging at her brown hair.

“Did you, did you move on?” Jamie asked, his serious demeanour masking back onto his face.

“No,” I said shaking my head and leaning back into my chair. “I thought about it, I got asked out on a lot of dates, but I just wasn’t interested. I guess you loose faith in the idea of love when you’ve already fallen out with your destined soulmate.”

“Yes, that would put a bummer on things, wouldn’t it,” Jamie smirked, his façade cracking.

I rolled my eyes and looked back at Grace, “but if one thing did come out of it, I guess it’s you two, huh.”

Grace cocked her head and looked at me, “because we met while he was looking for you?” she asked.

I nodded, “I can live with it, knowing Jamie was lucky enough to replace you because of a mistake I made.”

Grace’s face blushed as Jamie touched her hand lightly, smiling at her, “maybe don’t let the Alpha hear you say that, I think he would have rather you’d stayed here,” she squeaked.

“He’ll get over it,” I sighed.

“Maybe,” Jamie interjected.

I rolled my eyes, “what should I do now Jamie?” I asked.

He dragged his gaze from Grace and looked at me for a good long minute, “what do you want to do?”

“To be honest, take a nap,” I sighed.

Jamie grinned, but his eyes remained sad, “you guys didn’t talk for very long, what happened?”

“Small talk, some apologies, and then he asked if I’d give him a second chance.”

“And will you?” Jamie asked intensely listening.

I nodded, “I will, he’s my mate after all. I’m too young to never have sex again,” I added, making Grace blush and Jamie burst into a fit of laughter.

“Well, I feel bad for who ever has to tell Gina she needs to replace someone else to try and climb the werewolf ladder with,” Jamie snickered.

I smirked and looked down at my glass, “do you mind if I stay the night with you guys? I don’t think it would be wise for me to go home tonight.”

“You don’t want to stay in the Pack House or your house?” Grace asked.

“My house?” I said, cocking my head to the side and looking at her, I didn’t have a house here.

“Nate’s been staying in the pack house,” Jamie answered with a sigh. “He pretty much hunts and fucks, charming right?”

“So he hasn’t even gone home?”

“Everyone calls it the Luna’s house now,” Grace said with a smile, “but yes, you can stay with us.”

“We do have training in the morning, you’re more than welcome to join,” Jamie said with a sly grin.

“Have you had no one to hand your arse to you since I left?”

Jamie let out another cackle and threw his head back laughing, while Grace looked between the two of us, “you two spar?” she asked looking concerned.

“Don’t worry about her,” Jamie said placing a comforting kiss on the side of Grace’s head, “it’s me you’ll be stitching up.”
